Implementation of computer network to relax center
Nejezchleb, David ; Khateb, Ahmad (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
This work provides a proposal for a computer network and camera system in a relaxation centre at the request of the operator of the centre.
Cybernetic applications against COVID-19
Hyhlík, Pavel ; Jílek, Tomáš (referee) ; Chromý, Adam (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with possible solutions of the COVID-19 crisis, with the help of knowledge in the field of cybernetics. It describes problems that cause spread of the disease, precautions that have been made and possibilities for improvement of their efficiency using this specialization, or also new solutions. The advantages and disadvantages of particular solutions and their effect on spread will be analysed as well. A system for spacing monitoring is chosen and constructed from them.
Person Identification for Surveillance
Hopjan, Tomáš ; Juránek, Roman (referee) ; Hradiš, Michal (advisor)
This project deals with camera system surveillance and identification of humans. Motion detection and identification methods are presented. The main issue is people tracking using multiple camera system. Identification of individuals is accomplished using processing of decomposed colors histograms. Based on the experiments benefits and problems are introduced.
Discourse Analysis of Czech Media in Connestion with Concept of Surveillance Society
Mikolandová, Anna ; Hrůzová, Andrea (advisor) ; Silverio, Robert (referee)
This thesis deals with the concept of a surveillance society in the modern world and its representation in the Czech media. It aims to deduce the discourse of the domestic media on this issue and the narratives that form it. For this purpose, James Paul Gee's method of discursive analysis originating from the linguistic tradition is chosen. In addition to the texts, the visual representations that accompany them are examined through qualitative content analysis. The conclusions of the research are compared with the findings presented in the theoretical part of the thesis. The thesis focuses on the issue of surveillance and presents the key ideas and research that have shaped the emergence of the entire field of surveillance studies. These include texts by Jeremy Bentham, Karl Marx, Max Weber and Michel Foucault. Other contemporary theorists have then drawn on these, whose research is also the focus of the thesis, and present the dominant issues and current problems related to the main theme of the thesis. These include, for example, Gilles Deleuze's concept of the society of control, "new" surveillance by Gary T. Marx, dataveillance, i.e. the use of data for surveillance in Roger Clark's theses, Mark Poster's superpanopticon, the issues related to the use of CCTV camera systems addressed by Clive...
Design of communication network infrastructure
Vinter, Ivan ; Sedlák, Petr (referee) ; Novotný, Vít (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the complex design of communication infrastructure using 3 technologies for the new headquarters of JIMI CZ a.s.. These technologies are computer network, IP camera system and Wifi coverage. The thesis discusses the concepts associated with the technologies mentioned above. The final part of the thesis is focused on the selection of components and the design of the communication infrastructure itself, along with its economic evaluation.
Detecting a Partially Obscured Face in Image Data
Kedra, David ; Sakin, Martin (referee) ; Goldmann, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of problems related to detecting partially occluded faces in camera systems and discusses current machine learning detectors. The aim was to find solutions useful for detecting hardly visible faces. For this reason, artificial occlusions were generated into datasets for training the YOLOv7, YOLOv7-tiny and RetinaNet models. A computer application that uses these detectors is presented. The models are compared with existing solutions in terms of quality and speed. The trained models perform better on most test datasets. YOLOv7 is the most accurate on the modified WIDER FACE and UFDD datasets with average precisions of 86 % and 89 % at a minimum IoU of 50 %. On the third dataset with face masks, the existing detector RetinaFace outperformes the others. According to the speed/quality ratio, YOLOv7-tiny is the most effective.
Sledování včel na vstupu včelího úlu
NOVOTNÝ, Petr
The main goal of this work is to design and put into operation a camera system for an intelligent beehive located at the Experimental and Educational Apiary of the Biological Center of the ASCR, v. VI in the area of the Dendrological Garden on Branišovská Street No. 31 in Č. Budějovice and to create software for monitoring, counting and space identification of bees at the entrance of a beehive. The system will consist of cameras connected to the Raspberry Pi where it will be processed using the image processing method. The obtained data will be processed on the server and stored in the database. Part of the obtained results will be displayed using Grafana's visualization tools.
Detection of Anomalies in Pedestrian Walking
Pokorný, Ondřej ; Orság, Filip (referee) ; Goldmann, Tomáš (advisor)
The goal of this work was to create a system that would be able to detect anomalies in pedestrian walking. As the core of my application, I have used OpenPose, which is an application for detecting human skeletons. Then I used a bidirectional LSTM neural network to detect anomalies in video sequences. This architecture was chosen during the experiment because it outperformed other solutions. I trained my model to detect three types of anomalies. The output of my application is a video with marked sequences of anomalies. The whole system is implemented in Python.
Camera surveillance system
Lazarević, Veljko ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Koton, Jaroslav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the introduction and design of a camera system. The theoretical part briefly deals with the description of individual components and basic parameters of the camera system, especially the personal protection. Security systems today rely heavily on cameras. Cameras can be useful in identifying potential threats and protecting people and property. It is important to take precautionary measures to protect yourself and your property. This bachelor thesis deals with various camera systems, namely analog, hybrid and currently digital. The practical part is about the design, installation and maintenance of a digital camera system.
Camera system in the workplace and its encroachment on personal rights of employees
Průšová, Aneta ; Morávek, Jakub (advisor) ; Štefko, Martin (referee)
The topic of this thesis is the legal regulation of camera system in the workplace and characterization of its encroachment on personal rights of employees. The main emphasis is put on conditions, which employer must fulfil to install a camera system in the workplace in compliance with the legal order of Czech Republic. Furthermore this thesis is devoted to issues of discreet surveillance and of defence of employee options in case of illegal monitoring. This thesis is divided into three following chapters. In the first chapter, technological development of video camera and its components as well its gradual using as surveillance equipment in public space and afterwards in private life of persons are described. This chapter deals with today's situation and number of video cameras in society, not only in Czech Republic but also in the whole world. Increasing amount of video cameras represents as its consequence a reason for legal disputes, especially neighborhood's legal disputes. Considering that mentioned fact, the relevant decisions of the Supreme Court illustrating attitude of judicature to camera surveillance are incorporated in the first chapter. The thesis' core is set in the second chapter, which is focused on concrete conditions of installation of camera monitoring in the workplace and their...
