Financial analysis of ČEDOK j.s.c.

The main points of this work include the definition of basic methodological procedures for the successful treatment of a financial analysis of a particular company. The next section will constitute the selected company, a travel agency ČEDOK j.s.c. and will apply the above methodology to the business entity. Resulting values will be evaluated and commented so that an added value of this analysis was as high as possible. To gain a better awareness of an economy of travel agencies in the Czech travel market, will be made an inter company comparison with a nearby competitor of ČEDOK, Fischer j.s.c. The next section will constitute this company too and will realize similar analysis, which was performed on ČEDOK. At the same time for each indicator will be compared the results for both travel agencies. For an easier detection of differences in the way of an economy of these companies, the work will be accompanied by graphs for selected indicators of a financial analysis. A conclusion of this analysis also offers a global summary of results and a realization of a particular final evaluation.
Financial analysis of STRABAG, a.s.

The aim of this bachelor essay is to evaluate financial health of Strabag a.s. company by using financial analysis methods. First part is dedicated to financial analysis methodology, describing formulas that are being used in the following parts and explaining the significance of final results. Next part is focused on presenting Strabag a.s. company and applying the methods of financial analysis. The results are compared to averages of relevant segment of industry. The analysis is accompanied by tables and graphs in order to help improve orientation and understanding of the problem. The third part deals with comparation of the company with its most important competitors in the given field of building industry. Final part states complex evaluation of the results and general company assessment.
