This bachelor‘s thesis aims to deal with the issue of employee motivation in the company AIRPORT BRNO a.s. The work is divided into three parts. The theoretical part will discuss theories of work motivation, explanations of key concepts and describe the issues of the topic. The analytical part will involve the company AIRPORT BRNO a.s., and research that has been contracted through the method of a questionnaire survey. The aim of the survey was to determine which factors of motivation are crucial for employees, and whether these factors are included in the Company's internal motivation strategies. The third part of the work will look at the result of the investigation and summarise findings to suggest recommendations for the streamlining of employee motivation within AIRPORT BRNO a.s.

It works as an effective instrument for a productivity increase and for retention of good employees in the company. The remuneration system must be clear and fair to the employees. I evaluate contemporary remuneration system on the basis of the results arising from the analysis, and I review the satisfaction of employees with it. From these results due to achieved knowledge I recommend changes, that I include into the contemporary remuneration system.
