Fire Sport for the People with Disabilities
RODOVÁ, Tereza
The bachelor's thesis deals with the involvement of people with disability in fire sports as a possibility of inclusion of people with disability in this leisure activity. It deals with the possibilities of modifying the events of fire sports for people with disability. The bachelor's thesis also deals with the specifics that can affect the possibility of joining fire sports and the activities of volunteer firefighters. The bachelor's thesis is divided into a theoretical and a research part. The theoretical part defines the activities of volunteer firefighters. It deals with defining the individual events of fire sports and possible sports activities for people with disability. It explains the concepts of inclusion and free time and addresses the appropriate communication with a person with disability. Qualitative research methods are used in the research part. Through a semi-structured interview, coding and subsequent comparison of the data obtained from both groups of informants, it was found that people with disability can be involved in fire sports, but it depends on the type and degree of disability. Among the people most often involved in fire sports are people with ADHD, people with hearing disability and people with mild mental disability. In some cases, the events and rules would have to be adjusted. The research showed that members of volunteer fire departments are willing to accept people with disability who are interested in spending their free time with volunteer firefighters. Members of volunteer fire departments would be cautious when involving people with physical disability or visual impairment, as they do not have experience with these types of disability. According to data analysis, educating members of volunteer fire departments in the field of disability would help in resolving this.
Creation and verification of specialized training sets for fire sport
VORÁČKOVÁ, Veronika
The aim of this diploma thesis was to create and confirm a set of specialised trainings for fire sport. There were adults older than 18 and children and teenagers aged 8-17 in tested groups for this thesis. The firefighters were from the Volunteer Fire Department Omlenice. A quasi-experiment method was used in this thesis. Entrance testing was performed at the beginning of winter training and after ten specialised trainings, final testing was performed. The testing was implemented through Denisiuk test, which was focused on velocity skills, explosive power, power skills, endurance and agility skills. Obtained results were recorded in graphs and charts and evaluated. Through the paired t-test, statistical significance was verified and through Cohen´s d, practical significance was verified. The hypotheses were confirmed at most of the tests because these were statistically significant with a mild or medium effects, however some had to be eliminated at tests with statistically insignificant results.
The Specifics of the Fire Sport for Children with Disabilities
STEINBAUEROVÁ, Dagmar
The bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities of integration and attitude of the youth fire sport team leaders towards integration of children with disabilities into this leisure time activity. It also answers the question whether individual disciplines of fire sport can be adapted for children with disabilities. Nowadays, when integration of children with disabilities into the educational process and society is ongoing it is important not to forget about their leisure time. The thesis is divided in the theoretical and research part. The theoretical part defines a difference between integration and inclusion and provides also an explanation of what is leisure time. Furthermore, it deals with possible sports activities of children with disabilities and explains what fire sport is. The mixed type of research is used in the research part. By means of the first, qualitative type of research, secondary data analysis, a possibility of adjusting of all fire sport disciplines for children with disabilities is confirmed. Using the second, quantitative type of research, i.e. a technique of a questionnaire, confirms that the relationship of leading young firefighters to children with disabilities is mostly positive. Most fire brigade leaders are willing to accept a child with any disability in their team, but provided that such child will not participate in the competitions. In the case of participation of children with disabilities in competitions, a smaller majority of young firefighter leaders are willing to include in their team most often children with ADHD, hearing and physical disabilities. Some, but their number is low, are willing to accept also children with visual and mental disabilities. Based on the findings of this research, it would be appropriate to continue to develop a methodology of work for children with disabilities in fire sport.

The possibilities of influencing strength of lower limbs in fire sport competitors
Miřátský, Petr ; Gryc, Tomáš (advisor) ; Jebavý, Radim (referee)
Title: Possibilities of influencing the lower limbs force in fire sport competitors Objectives: The goal of the thesis is to find out the level of force and explosive force in chosen fire- sportsmen's lower limbs and to verify the possibilities of influencing its level with the help of a specific plyometric training. Methods: The research group consisted of fire-sportsmen whose level of muscle force and lower limbs explosive force was explored with the help of entrance tests. To find out the level of the lower limbs muscle force we used the Cybex machine, the level of the explosive force was tested on the Kistler force boards. We assessed muscle force of knee flexors and extensors, which was evaluated with the help of the moment of muscle force (circular motion) in a concentric muscle activity at an angular velocity 60ř·s-1 . In explosive force, we assessed maximum force and upward leap height produced. After the entrance tests the sportsmen went through an intervention programme consisting of a specific plyometric exercise. This intervention programme was concluded with an output testing, which was identical with the entrance one and the aim of which was to find out the current level of the parameters assessed. Results: The result of the thesis is a record of a muscle force and a lower limbs...
