A Proposal of Changes in Motivation System in the Selected Company

The subject of the thesis is the design of changes in the incentive system in the selected company. Through the analysis of company documents, questionnaires and structured interviews is analyzed the current incentive system and its effect on the level of staff motivation. On the basis of empirical research are elaborated concrete proposals to optimize employee performance, increase the level of staff motivation and thereby strengthening the company's position in the market.

The thesis deals with the new design of Dashboard application developed for Vodafone Czech Republic company. The application serves for sales monitoring on all direct retail stores of the company. Major goal of this project is to design a brand new application and enhancing its functionality with new analytical tools and motivational indicators. These innovations will empower the performance of salesmen along with providing the new analytical possibilities for store managers.

The master´s thesis deals with performance measurement of the company STAVOS Brno, a.s. The theoretical part is about some of approaches and methods of company performance measurement. In the second part the company is characterized and company´s current situation is described. The last part contains an application of START PLUS model based on the principles of The EFQM Excellence Model. At the end the proposals for improving self-assesment and performance of the company are deduced from the results of applied model.

The practical part analyzes the current situation of the company, its evaluation and proposal of recommendations for improvement.

In this thesis, the author deals with the motivation of employees in a selected company. Attention is paid to the analysis of the current motivational system, evaluation and remuneration system. The aim of this thesis is to gain theoretical knowledge and analysis of the current company status quo. Based on the analysis an effective motivational system will be proposed in order to achieve higher employee satisfaction and thus obtain better working results and an increased business performance.
