Fiscal policy and analysis of unemployment in the Litoměřice region
Brůnová, Tereza ; Hřebík, František (advisor) ; Jitka, Jitka (referee)
This master's thesis deals with fiscal policy and the analysis of unemployment in the region of Litoměřice. The first section summarizes theoretical findings in the area of fiscal policy, unemployment, and the labour market. This section also describes specific elements of the labour market and the risk groups in it; forms and tools of fiscal policy; types of unemployment and its impacts; and tools for decreasing unemployment. The practical section of this thesis provides the general characteristics of the region of Litoměřice. Unemployment in the region is explored according to age structure, length of unemployment, structures of available job positions and the degree of education achieved among unemployed individuals. In addition, this section compares the region of Litoměřice to the Ústí Region in terms of unemployment. By using an econometric model, the impacts of selected variables are quantified on the ratio of unemployed persons in the region of Litoměřice. The model contains quarterly data from 2010 to 2015. At the end of the practical section, the influences of individual variable models are expressed relatively via elasticity coefficients.
Modelling commodity chain of beef
Nováková, Lucie ; Malý, Michal (advisor) ; Kateřina, Kateřina (referee)
The submitted diploma thesis deals with modeling the commodity chain of beef, namely the impact of the relevant variables in the production and consumption of beef in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part deals with econometric modeling and general characteristics of the commodity chain. The second section summarizes the process and the economic aspects of beef production in our country. In the practical part there are formulated, specified, quantified and verified two econometric models. The first model deals with addiction beef production in selected variables. The second model solves the question of influences on consumption of beef. The prognosis of future development for the period 2016- 2018 was determined on the basis of these models. The latest model captures the price transfers within the commodity chain of beef.
Trend of beer trade
Kolář, Petr ; Šánová, Petra (advisor) ; Markéta, Markéta (referee)
Thesis The beer trade trends identifies variables which have an impact on the consumption of beer and predicts the trend of trade in beer in the Czech Republic in the globalization context. To achieve the results was used linear econometric model. Using the Method of least squares determined the size and direction of individual variables for beer consumption. Based on the verified model is a model applicated and based on software Gretl is predicted the beer consumption for a period of 3 years. The biggest influence on beer consumption has production, nominal wages (adjusted for inflation), and the impact of the economic crisis. The prediction is dependent on the lingering economic crisis, beceause the predicted values for 2015 are higher than beer consumption in the same year by 3 litres. The lingering economic crisis has an impact in 2015 on the consumption of beer and during 2016 this dependence should disappear. Trend beer consumption is rising to the level of 146 l per person per year.
Analysis of the determinants of consumption of selected agricultural products
Šťastný, Jakub ; Hálová, Pavlína (advisor) ; Petra, Petra (referee)
This thesis deals with the econometric modelling of selected factors affecting the consumption of wheat bakery products in the Czech Republic and Austria between 1995 and 2014. There is a gluten problematic mentioned in the theoretical part and its impact on human organism, followed by an explanation of the consumer s behaviour and his reaction to the development of the price of the goods and his income. The thesis itself is divided into two parts. In the first part there are the time series analyses which are then investigated for their suitability for the subsequent modelling. The second part focuses on the construction of a single-equation model of the wheat bakery products consumption using an econometrical model. Finally there is a quantification of the impact of the individual factors on the wheat bakery products consumption in these two countries based on the coefficients of elasticity.

Ekonometric analysis of housing units prices in Prague
Garančovský, René ; Formánek, Tomáš (advisor) ; Frýd, Lukáš (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to find indicators that have a significant impact on the price of housing units in Prague. It will also be a comparison with analyses already done. The first chapter is devoted to the basic description of the characteristics of housing units and territorial connection. In the second chapter we describe used econometric techniques. Into third chapter we enter outputs, made by us in eviews. In the fourth and final chapter we describe, disassemble, compare and analyse individual results of the preceding chapter.

Subsequently, the thesis will deal with the historical and current development of minimum wages in various EU countries and international documents which affect the formation of the minimum wage. The last part will be based on an econometric model determining whether a minimum wage, growth rate of GDP and the share of the minimum wage to the median wage influence the unemployment of men, women, and the overall unemployment rate in the period 1995 to 2014 the Czech Republic, Luxembourg and Hungary.
Hedonic models on real estate market
Špesová, Nikola ; Zouhar, Jan (advisor) ; Bíza Bisová, Sára (referee)
Thesis is concerned with the Prague apartment prices. It compiles various econometric models determine that price under linear regression. It discusses the influence of individual factors such as size, number of rooms, floor, type of ownership, and so on. It focuses on three main hypotheses. The first is the floor impacts, which is proving to have a quadratic functional dependence. The second is a comparison of personal property with a cooperative and brick and panel construction. It turned out that the price difference between brick privately ownership and cooperative panel construction can be up to nearly 30 %. The last major hypothesis is the impact of time perspective between 2006 and 2013. The data shows that the financial crisis of the years 2007 - 2009 hit the Prague real estate market only on a small scale.
