Art and educational project with environmental elements in the school club

The bachelor thesis deals with art and educational project with environmental elements, which is conceived for school club, specifically for an Elementary school in the town Čkyně in the South Bohemian region. The first chapter of theoretical part mentions definition of school clubs, their aims, activities and specifics, which are typical for this leisure activity. The next chapter describe arts a hands-on activities and for example non-traditional materials, that can be used at activities. It also focuses on the specifics of environmental education and its anchoring in the Framework Education Programme. Last but not least, the theme is project teaching, which is now becoming more widely known by teachers and more popular with pupils. The practical part defines a specific project, compiled for a school retinue at the Primary School in Čkyně. The activities are designed for pupils of younger school age, namely the first and second years. The project involves three non-traditional artistic and practical activities that develop a deeper understanding and relationship with the natural materials that are being worked with. The activities correspond to the autumn/winter period in which they were carried out.
The educational programme oriented to selected ecosystems in kindergarten

This Bachelor thesis focuses on environmental education. In the theoretical part it defines environmental education and its main objectives, the reasons for its inclusion in preschool education and its relation to the Framework Education Programme for Preschool Education. In addition, it names methods suitable for its implementation in kindergarten. In the practical part, it presents the developed educational offer focused on the selected ecosystem. In selecting the activities included in the curriculum, it emphasises methods of direct nature study, such as observation and simple experimentation, manipulation of natural materials or sensory perception. At the same time, it focuses on the children's experience and the experience they gain through direct contact with nature and spontaneous play in it. After the implementation of the teaching programme, it then evaluates the proposed topics and the chosen methods on the basis of the evaluated interviews and the ongoing observation of the children.
Experiential education and its place in the educational and curriculum program at secondary school

The topic of the diploma thesis is experiential pedagogy and its place in the educational programme of secondary schools. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts of experiential pedagogy, the educational process, teaching strategies of experiential pedagogy, types and prevention of risky behaviour. The research part is focused on creating and subsequent implementation of an experiential adaptation course. The survey involved 139 respondents from group 1 and 232 respondents in group 2. Data were collected using a modified version of the B-3 questionnaire. The aim of the research was to find out whether the experiential adaptation course influences the perception of one's own position in the classroom, the quality of the team and the perception of feelings of security, friendship, cooperation, trust and tolerance. The hypotheses focused on class position and team quality were not confirmed, there was no significant difference between the compared groups. On the contrary, the hypothesis focused on feelings in the classroom was statistically confirmed. The research study showed that the experiential adaptation course mainly affects feelings in the classroom.

Use of coaching as an educational method in business organizations

Considering the frequent and fast changes, technology development, new processes and globalization, education becomes more and more important. It impacts not only individuals but also organizations that need to have high quality employees who will be able to react to the changes and adapt to new conditions. To ensure process effectiveness, it is necessary to select appropriate educational methods when educating employees. This thesis deals with coaching, and its aim is to evaluate the possibility of using coaching as an educational method in business organization. In the theoretical part, the comparative and content-analysis methods were used and in the empirical part the data were collected through questionnaire and semi-structured and unstructured interviews. Research was executed among employees of business organizations, human resources personnel and managers who had experience with coaching. It was supplemented by an interview with a professional coach who provides coaching in organizations. The goal of the survey was to identify benefits of coaching for employee education and to detect its potential constraints. Competences and their development in the new scout educational program

The thesis deals with the development of key competences through Scout training. It focuses on the transformation of educational program in the Junák - Association of Scouts and Guides of the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The first part describes the history, the mission and ideals of Scouting. It deals with the development of Scouting in Czechoslovakia (or the Czech Republic) after 1990 and also explains how Junák is perceived by the public. It was found out by studies that were done in 2003. This thesis compares the historical and current educative documents that are used to support the development of children and young people's personalities. The thesis describes the initial impulses that led to the program's modification. Also the system of competences, which is essential for the new program, is developed in the thesis. The practical part contains instructions and suggestions for effective development of skills and deals with the further education for scout leaders. The work is accompanied by attachments that contain examples of previous and modern materials and a table summarizing the development of competences.

And then describe educational methods and adopting of knowledge and skills for students with learning disabilities. I also aimed on role and attitude of teachers in education of pupils with learning disabilities. Through questionnaire inquiry I was investigating readiness and forms of education by teachers of foreign languages in this problematics, with evaluation of collected data and final summarization of this problematics. Work should serve not only for academical purposes, but also for informing teachers of foreign languages and choosing of their future work in educational process of pupils with specific learning disabilities. Special catechesis. Theory and Practice

This dissertation titled "Special catechesis. Theory and Practice" explores the methods of teaching religion to mentally handicapped children. The research focuses on the presentation of theoretical and practical methods introduced by D, Jucha, J. Madeja, D.Doroszewka, B. Janosz and other significant Polish catechists. The theoretical part, besides a systematicly processed terminology also deals with the actual content and the main aim of special-care catechesis. In addition, it provides an interpretation the dignity of man as it can be found in some church archives. Last, but not least, attention is drawn to the important role of families, parishes and catechists. The second, practical, part is inspired by the methods of B. Janosz - whether it is put to creative use along with new teaching materials as well as new communication tools that motivate mentally handicapped children for active participation in special-care classes. The author of this study concluded that even the weakest must be provided adequate catechesis as every human being, no matter how limited, is capable of growth to sanctity. These people feel the need and are entitled to life in faith. There is a need for oligo-catechesis and it is unquestionable.
Design and Realisation of the Competency Approach for Children of Younger School Age in the Junák - Czech Scouting Organisation

The aim of this thesis is to create and implement a competency-based approach in the organization Junák - Czech Scouting for children of younger school age. Further, it analyses the possibilities and limits of such an approach. The theoretical part deals with the development of key competencies through scout education. Special attention is paid to the transformation of the educational programme in the children's organization Junák - Czech Scout at the beginning of the 21st century. Furthermore, the terms of competence and key competence are discussed. The practical part was carried out as action research in the 3rd Scout Unit Holubov. Using a questionnaire survey, the research first focuses on the reflection of Scout Paths, which represent the current scout tool for applying the competency-based approach. The next part of the research concentrates on creating a new competency-based model that verifies and reflects in practice. In the final part, the possibilities and limits of this new model are analyzed and suggestions for further implementations are proposed.
