Transformation of course Analysis and design of IS to iTunes U

The aim of this thesis is implementation of iTunes U platform at the University of Economics in Prague and simultaneous digital transformation of course Analysis and design of IS as a model. The theoretical part describes iTunes U in the general and explains the reasons for its choice, supported by arguments from different sources. The practical part is documentation to course creating process and the implementation of the platform at university. The thesis should be used as a manual for teachers and academics who are interested in iTunes U and would like to take advantage of it in their courses or implement it at their schools.
E-learning support for teaching seniors

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is creating an electronic course (tutorial) for The University of the Third Age on University of Economics in Prague. The thesis is metaphorically joining topics like information and communication technology and education in it's own theme. Before creating the tutorial, it is necessary to explain the term e-learning. Therefore the thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The main contribution of this thesis is creating a specific electronic course for students of The University of the Third Age using up-to-date programs, uploading the course on the Internet (specifically YouTube server), course presenting to the students and explanation of the term e-learning itself in the context of modern times at e-learning.
E-learning applications and data security

This bachelor's thesis addresses the topic of security threats for web applications, with the practical part presenting a security assessment of selected e-learning applications. It describes the most common current threats for web applications, attack techniques and security techniques. The web environment gave rise to a whole range of techniques for breaching the security of web applications, and this thesis therefore presents the most common threats. The second part of the thesis introduces security techniques, both general techniques based on securing the protocol and techniques against specific threats. The protocol on which an application runs is one of the most important security components, and therefore the thesis analyses the functioning of the HTTPS protocol and its security layers in greater detail. The following part provides an analysis of the field of e-learning security. The reader learns about the security risks which he can encounter in operating open source e-learning solutions. The conclusion of the theoretical part describes the basic principles of security testing by means of the methods defined by the Open Web Application Security Project. The practical part of the thesis deals with the results of security testing of three selected open-source software systems: Moodle, Dokeos and eFront. The testing was focused on threats introduced in the theoretical part of the thesis and uses the findings from the OWASP Testing Guide v3. Individual testing attacks, their results and overall security recommendations are described for every tested e-learning system. The conclusion of the practical part provides an overall assessment of the tested systems.
The importance of teaching aids for economic education

The bachelor thesis is thematically focused on the importance of teaching aids and the use of teaching aids in secondary education. The thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part is the classification of teaching aids, description of selected modern teaching aids and their use in education. At the end of the theoretical part is description of teaching aids that are used mainly in economic education. The empirical part of thesis focuses on the survey and its evaluation. The main target of this research is to investigate the use of teaching aids in education. Other questions focus on the interest of lessons when teachers use teaching aids, how often teachers use teaching aids, if teachers create teaching aids on their own and which teaching aids teachers do not have. In conclusion, it is determined whether teachers use e-learning.
System proposal of further education in business sector

The aim of bachelor's thesis "System proposal of further education in business sector" is the education of employees in KBC Global NV Czech Branch. The objective of this proposal is to design system which would be meant to advance the quality of employees' education in given company. In theoretical part we will look closer at the meaning of adults' education. In analysis of the system, there is described chat system of education KBC Global NV Czech Branch uses. The main objective of quantitative research is to find out what is the level of employees' satisfaction with educational system in KBC Global NV Czech Branch, what forms of educational system in given company the employees are fully satisfied with or not and not least chat changes they would like to make, if any. The optimization proposal is focused on more efficient educational system which would advance the quality of education in KBC Global NV Branch and therefore to gain higher value of human capital.
Making use of LMS MOODLE as an on-line support for teaching of the selected course.

The main goal of this thesis is to show use of LMS MOODLE tools as a support for Face to Face learning. This thesis shows that these tools, designed for distant learning, have their own didactical use in Face to Face teaching of the high school's subject Economy. The first part focuses on the topic of E-learning, Learning Management Systems (LMS) and using LMS in actual learning process. The second part contains the comparison of serval LMS and the basic analysis of the specific tools presented in the Economy course. In this course, created within the thesis, I proved that the tools have justified to be used.
Digital learning in the Czech Republic: Customer profile and situation on the market

Diploma thesis is focused on education and development of employees in company with regard to use of new media and social networks. Aim of the thesis is to assess current situation in selected company and outline possible enhancements. Assessment is based on analysis of survey results, which were obtained from chosen respondents. The theoretical part contains the characteristics related to different forms of educations and interpretation of the developments of employees inside enterprise. This part also explains key concepts from the field of new media and social networks. The practical part analyzes processes linked to education in selected company. Centre of the analysis is built upon data obtained from survey results carried out among respondents. The aim of the research is to identify generation Y's view on the issue of the use of new media and social networks in employee education.
Electronic learning materials in tertiary education

The thesis is focused on learning materials at University of Economics Prague. In the con-text of modern trends in tertiary education it highlights opportunities to improve learning process with electronic learning materials. The theoretical part discusses the role of learn-ing materials and e-learning in tertiary education. The practical part then continues to ana-lyse the current situation of learning materials at the University of Economics. The main focus of the thesis is on the availability of high quality electronic learning materials. When looking for possible solutions the thesis also explores approaches used at other universities in the Czech Republic and abroad. It concludes with evaluation of possible solutions and makes recommendations for improving the situation with electronic learning materials at the University of Economics.
Modern technologies in e-learning

This thesis is focused on the educational theories, forms of training, development and types of e - learning. Then there are mentioned new online educational technologies, pros and cons of on-line learning and its trends (gamification, social learning, MOOCs, etc.). This theoretical knowledge is necessary for understanding the principles of the on-line education and importance of massive open online courses. One part of the practical section concentrates on the results of a questionnaire regarding the presence of on- line technologies in a student learning. Another part reflects the aim of the thesis and generally analyses the possibilities of the university involvement in MOOC. Specifically, it states the conditions and process of college involvement in the German educational platform iversity.
