The bachelor thesis “The usage of rice in the food industry“ is divided into three parts. The first part describes morphological and anatomical structure, the conditions and the methods of growing, production, consumption and import of rice to the Czech Republic. The second part focuses on the chemical composition of the grain, the subsequent pro-cessing, rice species and the rice products. The sensory questionnaire was created in the last practical part and six rice species were evaluated graphically according to him. The best was the arborio rice and the worst wild rice.
Diversity and distribution of the Euastrum humerosum / didelta (Desmidiales) species complex
Kupčíková, Eva ; Šťastný, Jan (advisor) ; Kollár, Jan (referee)
From 23 European and North American strains Euastrum humerosum/didelta species complex (Desmidiales) I have obtained 3 lineages in molecular marker trnGucc group II intron. I did not acquire significant and homogenous results in SSU intron. It is probable that the lineages of trnGucc intron are very young. SEM revealed one central pore in cell wall and five bulges. The lineages were significantly different in their shape and dimensions. The lineages differentiated mainly in their length and breadth of the cells. The lineages inside morphotype E. humerosum differentiated in shape and dimensions of the polar lobe. The lineages inside morphotype E.didelta differentiated in shape and dimensions of the neck. That was ascertained using the geometric morphometrics with the measuring. Linear discriminant analysis of the desmids from literature revealed that is possible to partly discriminate groups of the varieties (E. humerosum var. parallelum and E. didelta in lineage A; two formae E. didelta f. val Piora and E. didelta f. latior in lineage B; E. didelta var. inermiforme and E. humerosum var. affine in lineage C). Key words: desmids, species, hidden diversity, molecular phylogenetics, geometric morphometrics, Euastrum, scanning electron microscopy
Ethics of Emmanuel Lévinas
HUŠEK, Jakub
The thesis is called Emmanuel Lévinas Ethics and its aim is to explain the ethical concept of this original French philosopher. The first part of the thesis is focused on important influences that were important for Lévinas' philosophical work. The next part of the thesis deals with dialogical personalism as a philosophical direction into which Lévinas is most often classified. The third and most important part deals with the motives that led Lévinas to the elaboration of his ethical theses and subsequently parts of these theses are processed. It turns out that the basic aspect of his theory is the social relationship of the 'I' with the Second, through which the path to transcendence leads .Lévinas' conception is considered as a sort of ethical turn in philosophy and can be considered as a return to man. Properly conceived ethics based on respect, Levinas considers being "prima Philosophia".
Diversity and distribution of the Euastrum humerosum / didelta (Desmidiales) species complex
Kupčíková, Eva ; Šťastný, Jan (advisor) ; Kollár, Jan (referee)
From 23 European and North American strains Euastrum humerosum/didelta species complex (Desmidiales) we have obtained 3 lineages in molecular marker trnGuuc group II intron. We did not acquire significant and homogenous results in SSU intron. It is probable that the lineages are very young. The lineages were significantly different in their shape and dimensions. We used the geometric morphometrics with the measuring of the lengths and breath of the semicells, isthmus and their ratios. The lineages differentiated in their dimensions and shape variable polar lobes and neck. SEM revealed the one central pore in cell wall on the contrary, with variant E. didelta var. bengalicum, which has two pores according the literature records. Key words: desmids, species, hidden diversity, molecular phylogenetics, geometric morphometrics, Euastrum, scanning electron microscopy
Types of civil procedure
Beroušková, Monika ; Kubešová, Silvia (advisor) ; Frintová, Dita (referee)
The attempt of this diploma thesis is to introduce the reader various types of civil procedure. The civil procedure is one of the types of justice besides criminal, administrative and institutional justice. The civil procedure represents the united process, which is internally differentiated. This differentiation is the result of historical development, when the original function of the civil procedure access additional features. The purpose of the civil procedure is not only to provide protection to endangered rights. Another function is to protect the rights against threat. Finally, there is the function of execution and reinsurance. The purpose of this thesis is to provide a comprehensive overview of the various types of civil procedure, their characteristics, common features and differences. The content of this thesis are various types of civil procedure and it is divided into three parts. The first part deals with the civil procedure in general and it's history. The second part, as the main part of the diploma thesis, focuses on characteristics of each types of civil procedure. First there is described civil trial proceedings, which is divided into contentious and non-contentious proceedings. The purpose of civil trial proceedings is to protect the violated or threatened rights or regulation...
The Body of the Other: The Phenomenology of Intersubjectivity
Krejcar, Václav ; Zika, Richard (advisor) ; Novotný, Karel (referee)
In my diploma thesis I deal with the topic of experience of another person from the phenomenological philosophical point of view. The two major motives of my diploma thesis are: the revelation of the shift in thinking of Edmund Husserl in the phenomenology of intersubjectivity and showing that Merleau-Ponty went way beyond Husserls thinking. In the first chapter I clarify what Husserls term 'empathy' meant in his Cartesian Meditations and how this conception follows the theory of Theodor Lipps. Then I explaine Husserls thinking of intersubjectivity from the book Ideas Pertaining to a Pure Phenomenology and to a Phenomenological Philosophy - Second Book. In the third chapter I describe the phenomenology of intersubjectivity in the work of Merleau-Ponty. The fourth chapter is an interpretation and subsequent comparison of both authors. My main aim is to show that Merleau-Pontys comprehension of 'intercorporeity' surpasses Husserls conception of intersubjectivity. The final chapter displays the critical thinking of my opinion according to Zahavis interpretation of Merleau-Pontys philosophy, from Husserl and Transcendental Intersubjectivity. In this diploma thesis I bring the analysis of one source of thinking about the experience of another person to an end. I have accomplished the imaginary circle...
Management of social work in the case of domestic violence
Dömeová, Tereza ; Krahulcová, Beáta (advisor) ; Cimrmannová, Tereza (referee)
My work called Management of social work in problematics of domestic violence will cover management of social work and work of social workers in this problematics in chosen intervention, crisis, counseling centers and shelters in Prague and Central Bohemia. The goal of the work will be to chart how do social workers work in these different centers with victims of domestic violence and to give us a complete picture and summary of this problematics and management of social workers in it. Given the topic of this work, I will first focus on domestic violence. I will focus on basic characteristics, types, forms, causes and also on the high risk groups of people. Further of it will offer a look into the legislative framework in this area. Using surveys, which were given to individual social workers in these chosen centers, I will try to describe management of social workers in problematics of domestic violence.
