Vliv zdražení jízdného na studenty brněnských universit
Mladonický, Kryštof
The aim of the work was to examine the effects of the government's decision to change the student discount on public transport for students of Brno universities. At the same time, find out how many students commute to Brno and how this change will affect them. Alternatively, propose measures to support these students. During the research, students were interviewed through anonymous questionnaires (103 students) or through personal interviews (32 students). Also to find out if this change will affect students in their personal life in terms of their finances or their decisions about using public transport. For some students, this meant cutting back on transportation expenses. A point system was proposed for the possibility of financial support for commuter students, which could be used in regional development to attract talented students who choose other universities due to easier and cheaper accessibility.
Vliv organizování dopravy na nehodovost v obcích
Kozdas, Tomáš
The diploma thesis deals with the issue of organizing traffic in the inner city and its influence on the accident rate in the village. The theoretical part deals with the definition of terms, the application of traffic calming elements and the creation of a safe and friendly space for vulnerable traffic participants. Thanks to the use of these elements, the movement of pedestrians is facilitated, the speed of motor traffic is reduced, and its superiority is suppressed. The practical part uses cluster analysis to locate places of frequent traffic accidents. Critical locations are analyzed and evaluated according to the defined methodology. Subsequently, a solution is proposed to reduce societal losses from traffic accidents in localized critical places.

Spatiotemporal mobility of the inhabitants of Prague: Evaluation through carsharing usage data
Janeš, Jan ; Marada, Miroslav (advisor) ; Kraft, Stanislav (referee)
The thesis focuses on the topic of carsharing transport, which represents a still understudied but dynamically developing segment of urban mobility. The initial objectives include mapping the current carsharing market in Prague and outlining the basic mechanisms of this type of transport in comparison to car ownership. The subsequent geographical analysis relies on the importance of spatiotemporal contexts, which co-create the main factors that determine the distribution and concentration of carsharing vehicles. Finding the main spatial differentiations is essential to elucidate the causes of clustered locations, with a particular emphasis on analyzing large-scale data to identify and explain regularities. The analysis is based on data provided by a private carsharing company, which includes information on more than 17,000 rentals of shared vehicles. Part of the thesis also focuses on the potential optimization of the current setup of the carsharing company to achieve maximum efficiency. Key words: carsharing, transport, urban mobility, sustainable transport
Population mobility in the circular economy
TESAŘOVÁ, Marie
The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the state of mobility of the population in everyday commuting to work and school at the level of regions of the Czech Republic in the aspect of circular economy. Secondary data mainly from the yearbooks of the Ministry of Transport and Tourism, the Czech Statistical Office, the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute, etc. were used for the research. The professional assumption of circular economy in the transport issue was drawn from the documents of the European Union and the Ministry of Environment of the Czech Republic. It is on the basis of the EU documents that an "ideal region" that meets the EU requirements for circularity in transport was drawn up for the purposes of the analysis. From the above sources, the data was analysed using statistical methods and a "mobility circularity degree indicator" was compiled for the purpose of this thesis. The indicator describes and evaluates the level of mobility in each region of the Czech Republic and its result is evaluated. Finally, the findings are followed by proposals for measures to maintain or improve the state of mobility in the regions.
