CLARIN-DSpace repository at LINDAT/CLARIN : LINDAT/CLARIN FAIR repository for language data

We will present a software solution for and experience in running a digital repository for language data and natural language processing tools - LINDAT/CLARIN. We will present unique support for licensing with an emphasis on Open Access, and how we support all 4 key FAIR principles. We will show the submission workflow including license choice, approval and publishing or submissions by editors, as well as the repository administration environment including license definition, signing and access control. We will also present repository integration with other services, and statistics of operation.

Data deposit into the ASEP repository

The ASEP repository has provided bibliographic records deposit for the results of scientifi c research at the Czech Academy of Sciences since 1993. In 2012, the database was expanded to include a repository in which full text documents are stored. Since 2017, ASEP also supports data records and data fi le storage. The bibliographic records of the results can be linked to metadata records so that the user gets not only the full text of a result, but also the data on which the result is based. Each dataset has its own description and metadata follows international standards. In the paper, we will introduce the repository workfl ow, describe dataset deposit and international standards used as well as different types of user interfaces.

Open Data and where to put them?

The scientific community and general public is not only interested in Open Access to the fulltexts but also in Open Data. Open Data enhance the information transfer, save money and increase the transparency of scientific communication. Lately Open Data have become a trend across many research fields. The paper aims to present the Open Data initiative, Enhanced publication term and also present examples of data repositories.
