Vývoj kriminality a delikventního chování u studentů středních škol
Pavliš, Ondřej
The subject of the bachelor thesis "The development of crime and delinquent behaviour among high school students" is an evaluation of the current state and development of crime and delinquency. The goal of the theoretical part of the the-sis is to provide a comprehensive overview of delinquency and crime with a focus on children and youth and its development in the years 2011-2021. The overview is prepared by means of a literature search and analysis of statistics from the Police of the Czech Republic. An image of reality in which youth crime is developing is one of the factors in determining appropriate measures to eliminate the growth of crime. The aim of the practical part of the thesis was to find out what awareness high school students have of crime and delinquency, whether they have ever encountered this behaviour and whether prevention is carried out in schools. Using 3 sub-survey questions, the questionnaire survey sought responses, which were subsequently evaluated and graphically illustrated. To map the current situation within high schools, a quantitative survey method was chosen using an online questionnaire.
Women's Criminality and Criminality against Women
Zárubová, Petra ; Tlapák Navrátilová, Jana (advisor) ; Mulák, Jiří (referee)
Women's Criminality and Criminality against Women Abstract The topic of the present rigorous thesis is women's criminality and crime against women, i.e. two different views of women, first as perpetrators of crime and then as victims. Although women represent more than half of the population, the topic of women's criminality is not given as much attention as that of men or other population groups (e.g. juvenile delinquency). Thus, women are perceived as victims of crime rather than as perpetrators of crime. The second part of the thesis is devoted to the topic of women as victims of crime, as this is still a very topical issue at present. The aim of the thesis is to give a picture of both types of crime, to give their specifics, to describe their causes and to focus on possible repressive and especially preventive measures that can be used to suppress or prevent this type of crime. At the same time, the work aims to compare the information found with foreign legislation (Germany), to point out the shortcomings of the current legislation and any current problems, and to outline possible changes or proposals for de lege ferenda regulation of the issue. In the introductory chapter, the thesis first defines the basic criminological concepts used in the following chapters, such as the concept of crime itself,...
Crime culture of the 1990s and its actor reflection
Zajíčková, Tereza ; Wohlmuth, Petr (advisor) ; Houda, Přemysl (referee)
The thesis aims to interpret the actor's reflection on crime in the 1990s. It will focus on the perception and subjective interpretation of crime, which predictably increased in intensity after the collapse of the socialist regime. This socio-pathological phenomenon, typical of post-communist states, necessarily had an impact on the cultural and social development of the time, which is also reflected in contemporary popular art. The diploma text generally subscribes to the new cultural history and uses oral history as its primary method. The research will use newly acquired oral history narratives from several categories that represent actors in the context of the phenomenon in question - justice, prison, police, etc. In the context of pre-defined contemporary cultural categories, the thesis will attempt to interpret their subjective experience of the phenomenon. Key words: Crime, Criminality, Cultural History, Oral History, ActorReflection
Corruption issues concerning members of the Police of the Czech Republic
MARYŠKA, Jakub
The aim of the thesis is to characterize the legal, social and criminogenic aspects of corruption, to analyze the state of occurrence of corrupt behavior among members of the Regional Police Directorate of the South Bohemian Region, and to analyze the status and effectiveness of anti-corruption measures adopted by the Regional Police Directorate of the South Bohemian Region. Within the framework of the theoretical part, the concept of corruption, its forms, methods and development stages are defined. Other concepts related to corruption are also defined. It also describes corruption in the international context and anti-corruption bodies. Within the framework of phenomenology, the work describes the current state, structure and dynamics of criminal acts associated with corruption among members of the Police of the Czech Republic based on secondary data provided by the General Inspectorate of Security Forces. The practical part is based on primary data obtained through a questionnaire survey, which was conducted among members of the Regional Police Directorate of the South Bohemian Region. Eight hypotheses were established as part of the research. Through their verification, it was found out that the rate of corrupt behavior increases with increasing service classification, and that the frequency of the occurrence of corrupt behavior has a decreasing tendency over the last 6 years. The index of corruption of the Regional Police Directorate of the South Bohemian Region is, as expected, lower than the national index. Most police officers would not tolerate corrupt behavior among their colleagues. According to the assumption, police officers consider education in this area to be important but insufficient. In their opinion, police officers have less knowledge of the issue than was assumed, and roughly only a third of them have encountered incitement to corruption during their practice. The results of the investigation are subsequently interpreted and compared with the stated hypotheses. The contribution of the work is the detection and evaluation of the mentioned issue in the territory of the South Bohemian Region. It will also serve as an information source for organizational articles dealing with anti-corruption measures and education in this area within the Regional Police Directorate of the South Bohemian Region. The work can also be used as an auxiliary study material for university students, for example when studying in the social-legal field.

Macroeconomic Determinants of Crime: Evidence from Scandinavia
Hocková, Michaela ; Kalabiška, Roman (advisor) ; Cahlík, Tomáš (referee)
This thesis examines how various macroeconomic and demographic indicators infuence criminality in Scandinavian countries, taking into account existing literature on the determinants of crime in other regions. Using a combination of the vector error correction model and basic panel data techniques, several important fndings are extrapolated both on cross-country and regional levels. Unemployment, infation and divorces infuence the number of homicides and sexual crimes positively but property ofences negatively. Criminality in Scan- dinavia is also negatively related to average age and positively to population density. The importance of individual analyses for diferent global regions and crime types before the implementation of crime reduction policies is highlighted.
