Conference System for Excel@FIT

he main goal of this work is to analyze the scientific conference in the theoretical part, and to describe the issues of organizing a scientific conference. Further map the workflow of several conferences organized in information technology. Furthermore, the Excel @ FIT conference had to be analyzed in detail. In the practical part for this conference to design an information system, and implement this system as a web application. The resulting web application for conference administration is programmed using PHP and TypeScript programming languages. The client part is designed as a one-page web application communicating with the server part using the REST API. The application enables efficient and seamless conference management, article writing and review, and export creation for commissions. The result is a fully functional application tested on previous years' data, which can be easily extended with new functionality if required.

Resort Sázava

Subject of this diploma thesis is a design of a newly built accommodation and relaxation centre Resort Sázava. The structure is located on a sloping plot near town Sázava, in Kraj Vysočina. The locality is situated in preserved area Žďárské vrchy. The facility is divided into three buildings by their function. The buildings have rectangular shapes and have gabled roofing. The resort offers services of accomodation, boarding, conferences, relaxation and sports. The whole facility was designed in architectural study along with its functional linkups. Object SO 01 with restaurant and conference rooms was designed in detailed design documentation.

The Bachalor's work is concerned to the mapping of the information resources in the area of biomass combustion. The main aim and theme on wich is the work mainly focused on, is to introduce basic, as well as related information sources, which from is possible obtain useful and valuable datas for any further manipultion together with research of biomass combustion and scene field of energetics, as the integral part. Significant attention in each chapter si aslo put on the gathering practice - oriented and applied informations.

Conference Information System

The .NET platform offers several frameworks, technologies and approaches for web applications development. A good survey of these technologies is necessary for selecting effective implementation technologies. The aim of the thesis was to create a conference information system as a web application on the .NET platform for the non-profit organization Zámecké návrší, p.o. including its deployment and operation in the production environment. Prior to the development, it was necessary to familiarize myself with the .NET platform and compare the frameworks for web development. The bachelor thesis presents the suitability of individual frameworks for different types of applications. Based on the .NET analysis, DotVVM framework was chosen to implement the conference information system. The development of application logic proceeded with the test-driven development method. Combining appropriate frameworks, technologies, and approaches has lead to effective development with the successful creation of a secure and fast web application.

Brno Skyscraper

The subject of the master's thesis is the architectural design of a skyscraper in Brno. The work is based on a previously developed studio project from the winter semester, which focused on the design of an urban and transportation concept for the selected area. The selected location is situated in the broader city center on the right bank of the Svratka River in the southern part of the Brno-střed city district in the cadastral area of Štýřice. The boundaries of the area under consideration are defined by the streets Heršpická, Pražákova, and Bidláky, and a railway siding to Ferona. According to the new city master plan, this area is designated for the construction of high-rise buildings. A significant element in the urban design is an axis extending from the Svratka River through the Spielberk Office Center, culminating in the proposed skyscraper. The skyscraper will primarily serve as an office building, including amenities such as restaurants, cafes, and bars. The new facility will also offer commercial spaces, conference and congress venues, a new fitness center, and a media library. Underground parking is part of the design. An interesting feature will be a 90-meter-high footbridge connecting the buildings at a height of 120 m. The rooftop of the skyscraper, accessible to the public, will provide a beautiful view of the city of Brno. The entire structure will be designed in accordance with 21st-century knowledge and complemented by modern energy-saving technologies. The fundamental idea of the project is to propose a building that will reclaim the title of the tallest structure in the Czech Republic for Brno. The aim of the design was to create a high-quality environment for employees and residents of the city of Brno and offer a new panoramic view of the city.

The main goal of this thesis is to initially conduct a detailed analysis of the issues related to organizing scientific conferences while focusing on the workflow of the Excel@FIT conference and subsequently mapping the workflow of several other conferences organized in the field of information technology in the theoretical part. Then, in the practical part, the task is to design an information system specifically for the Excel@FIT conference and implement it in the form of a web application. The resulting web application for conference administration is developed using the programming languages PHP and TypeScript. The application ensures efficient and smooth conference management, registering and reviewing papers and generating exports for evaluation committees. The output is a fully functional application that has been tested on data from previous years and can be easily extended with new functionalities if needed.

The Use of Methods of the Project Management in a Chosen Non-profit Organization

Bakalárska práca je zameraná na využitie metód, nástrojov a poznatkov projektového riadenia pri plánovaní obchodnej konferencie pre vybranú neziskovú organizáciu AIESEC Brno. Práca sa skladá z troch hlavných častí. Prvá kapitola vysvetľuje teoretické východiská projektového riadenia. Druhá kapitola je zameraná na analýzu súčasného stavu organizácie a pozadia predchádzajúceho ročníka konferencie s popisom problémov, ktoré sa vyskytli. Posledná časť práce obsahuje návrhy riešení a ich prínos pre projekt a organizáciu z dlhodobého hľadiska.
