Diagnosis of didactic competencies of students FTVS

Title: Diagnostics of didactic competencies of students of UK FTVS. Objectives: The goal of the dissertation was to verify whether the chosen combination of quantitative and qualitative methods is suitable for the diagnostics of the didactic competencies of the students of the UK FTVS in swimming didactics. Methods: The research was supported by a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods. Participating observation was used in direct participation in the didactic outputs of students. Data collection was done by acquiring audio and video recordings of students' didactic outputs within the subject of Theory and Basics of Swimming Didactics at the UK FTVS, by a questionnaire and group interviews with students who were in the role of "pupils" during didactic outputs. Through an uninvolved observation, the analysis of video recordings of students' didactic outputs was made. Coding of individual didactic outputs of students was done through modified analysis of didactic interaction (MADI). Descriptive statistics was used to encode and process data from questionnaires. Logopedic interventions in kindergartens in the foothill of the Orlické Mountains

The diploma thesis is oriented on special education. The main goal is to find out and describe whether and how is speech and language therapy established in regular kindergartens at the foothills of Orlické mountains. The work is divided into five chapters, four of them are theoretical and the fifth chapter is a practical one. The first chapter is focused on the way how the preschool education is organised in the Czech Republic. It describes the legislation system, clarifies the system of curricular documents established in our republic and mainly the framework educational program for preschool education. The second chapter describes the preschool-child ontogenesis including all aspects of his/her personality and it also depicts the child-speech ontogenesis. The third chapter is focused on the main types of impaired communication ability of preschool children. The fourth chapter is focused on the speech therapy intervention provided in the Czech Republic. The fifth chapter presents combined research, within which the qualitative method of dialogue and the quantitative method of questionnaire were used, together with non-structured observation and comparative analysis among kindergartens. Logopedic intervention provided to children in kindergarten for children with hearing impairment

This master's thesis deals with speech-language pathology (SLP) intervention provided in kindergartens to children with hearing impairment. The theoretical part of the thesis acquaints the reader with the topic of hearing problems, hearing compensation possibilities and the most commonly used communication strategies in the educational process of children with hearing problems. Continually, it describes the ontogenetic evolution of speech in children with hearing impairment and its specifics in different speech levels, aquaints with SLP intervention, its structure and organisation in Czech republic and describes frequently occuring types of disrupted communicational abilities in pre-school children. The closure of the theoretical part describes the pre-school education trends when it comes to children with hearing problems. The main goal of the practical part is to map out and comment on the way SLP intervention is provided in pre-schools for children with hearing impairment. The thesis named Quality forms of family and kindergarten cooperation deals with the effectiveness leadership of tripartite meetings at a given kindergarten. The theoretical part summarizes subjects such as cooperation, communication, representation of coopration with the family in Framework Education Programme for pre-school and primary education or the portfolio. The practical part consists of the research carried out at a particular school that describes the tripartite leadership, mapping the effectiveness of tripartite meeting with the participation of the child and its portfolio, and at the very end offers further opportunities to engage the activities in tripartite meetings with the support of the portfolio.
The cooperation between family and school at the beginning of schooling in the Pelhřimov district

This diploma thesis deals with the current situation in the area of cooperation between family and school in the elementary schools of the current educational stream of the Pelhřimov district. The aim of the thesis is to bring basic information about the issue and to find out the degree of cooperation between the mentioned actors by parents, teachers in the Pelhřimov district.The thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part is based on analysis of professional literature, clarifies the concept of communication, cooperation, pupil and teacher. The empirical part presents a research investigation, which was carried out at the first level of basic schools of the common educational stream in the Pelhřimov district among the parents of the first class pupils, among the teachers of these schools. Comparison of Family and Kindergarten's Cooperation in conception of main educational stream and of Step by Step

The author compares approaches to co-operation with the family as applied in mainstream kindergartens and alternative kindergartens with the Step by Step programme. The thesis aims to determine the extent to which the forms and intensity of communication and co-operation between family and kindergarten differ depending on the kindergarten's educational programme, and identify the strengths and weaknesses of mutual communication. In the theoretical section, the author outlines the importance of co-operation between family and kindergarten for the development of preschool children, the possible forms of such co-operation and the rules laid down by applicable legal regulations and curricular documents, and describes how this co- operation is understood in the Step by Step programme. In the empirical section, the author uses a mixed research strategy combining quantitative and qualitative research to answer the research questions. Data for the research were collected through a questionnaire survey, where the respondents included teachers and parents of children attending selected Prague-based mainstream kindergartens and kindergartens with the Step by Step programme. Cooperation between teacher and parents in 1st and 2nd grade of elementary school

1 ABSTRACT This diploma thesis focuses on cooperation between the school and the family in the beginning of elementary school. In the theoretical part of this thesis are introduced concerns and expectations that the teachers and the parents may have at the begining of school attendance, as well as various types and forms of cooperation. The theoretical part uses expertise from Czech literature, but relies on foreign literature too. In some occasions these two resources are compared. The theoretical part is followed by the practical part that is built by teacher's research. This research comes from the teaching practise of the author. Except for the reaserch itself, it introduces some forms of the cooperation between school and the families that are followed by feedback from the parents.
