The Image of Jan Hus in the Early Modern Czech Literature

The work The Image of Jan Hus in the Early Modern Czech Literature tries to map different ways of description of this Czech preacher in selected literary texts from 15th to 18th century, to capture the changes which his image underwent. The chosen authors come from different countries and use different languages, represent different environments, social classes and opinion groups, they also have different education and religion. Individual literary works were assessedby means of comparing the key episodes that are either repeated in the texts, or the author intentionally did not use them. To understand the image of Jan Hus as a whole, also contemporary iconography was taken into account , which in some cases has been taken from other literary texts than those which were compared, so that the image of Hus whereas complete as possible. The comparison of the texts and iconography showed, how accurate the observation of the described scheme was and how the image of Jan Hus was gradually changing. The combination of written and iconographic material from specific time intervals allowed us to observe the gradual change of conceptions of the personality of Jan Hus and events connected with him, because the authors represent the opinion of their ethnic group and time. The interwar history of the association baráčníci in Týn nad Vltavou

This bachelor´s thesis deals with the interest social association of the Baráčnická community in Týn nad Vltavou. The aim is to briefly describe the history of the association, its formation, the first years of operation and to focus on its association activities in the period between 1918 and 1938. The activity of the association in Týn nad Vltavou is very strongly connected with the activities of other baráčnická communities in Czechoslovakia at that time. In the first part I deal with similar associations in the ČSR after 1918 and focus mainly on their national and patriotic mission. I direct the second part of the work to the association in Týn nad Vltavou and also to the meritorious member and chronicler of the Týn´s community, Mr. Jeník Švehla. At the end of the work I summarize the development of the Baráčnická communities not only in Týn nad Vltavou. Based on the findings I outline further direction of this association.
To the history of the Primary School in Kamýk nad Vltavou

This bachelor thesis deals with the description of the historical development of education and school buildings in the village of Kamýk nad Vltavou. The aim of the thesis is to give an overview of important stages in the history of education in the village of Kamýk nad Vltavou, including the transformations that the school has undergone in recent decades. Specifically, it focuses on the beginnings of education of pupils with intellectual disabilities, multiple disabilities and autism in the special classes of this school, which were created here in addition to regular classes. The informations about the given topic are suitably supplemented by interviews with witnesses of this education. There is also mapped the development of the school at the time of my compulsory schooling. This thesis includes the Path to Inclusion project.
Image of Byzantine relations with crusaders in Levant in works of William of Tyre, Anna Komnene and Niketas Choniates

This bachelor work is about problematice of relations between Komnenian dynasty and Outremer, that is crusaders and crusader states in region of Levante from point of view of byzantine historians Anne Komnene and Niketas Choniates and latin historian of "western" descend William of Tyre. Work is divided into several parts. In first part, it pursues reigns of individual rulers of Komnenian dynasty in given time period for historical context of era, than follows chapter about historiography, which is about works of individual authors and in the end analyses opinions of authors on specific historical events starting with first crusade and ending with massacre of Latins in Constantinople and examines views on it with the eyes of Niketas Choniates and William of Tyre. The author tries to answer the question why their relations extremely deteriotated even spite of prolatin orientation of Komnenian rulers. Czech Luxembourges in french contemporary historiography

Petra JEDINÁKOVÁ, CZECH LUXEMBOURGES IN FRENCH CONTEMPORARY HISTORIOGRAPHY, Prague, Faculty of Philosophy, Charles University in Prague 2012. The aim of this thesis is to consider the relationship of Czech Luxembourg dynasty towards the French dynasty and the impact of their policies in western Europe. The work also focuses on different ways of perception of the Luxembourgs in both Czech and French environment and reasons for such observations. The Luxembourg dynasty, being originally an earl family of the French from Luxembourg, always had a strong relation towards France and its ruling dynasty which was based on mutual respect, friendship, similar opinions and also family bonds, the successors were educated at the French court. The two countries supported each other in fight andalso by mutual contact, visits and in terms of diplomacy. We have testimonies regarding these events thanks to medieval sources such as chronicles, annals, documents, correspondence and texts of authors from the French environment, who personally met Czech kings from the House of Luxembourg and therefore left us important insights into the situation of that time. John of Luxembourg has been perceived in as a model of knightly virtues and a brave fighter always loyal to the French king. In Bohemia, he was for centuries...
History of primary school in Davle

The bachelor work "History of Primary School Davle" is about the history of primary education in this community. This work is focused in education in Davle from 1778 till nowadays. It deals with the history the czech educational system and the town Davle, as well as it informs about the monastery on the island. There are included also informations about the hard times of the local school. In the end you can learn about the writer Vladislav Vančura, who attended the school in Davle. I used mostly original sources and professional literature.
History of elementary education in selected areas (school project)

This diploma thesis is focused on the origin and history of elementary education system in the area Prague- west. The work is divided into two main parts, theoretical and practic. The theoretical part chronologically introduces the history of the schools since their inception ( complete dissolution ), to the present. The history of a particular schools in this area is the material source used to formulate the project for for students of different schools as the general public. The main aim of this project is to familiarize pupils with the history of their school and to strengthen the students' relationship to the school. The project will be realized in the school year 2014/2015. All proposed activities and expected outcomes are formulated according to the Framework Educational Programme.
