Landscape
Fuksová, Kristýna ; Daněk, Josef (referee) ; Artamonov, Vasil (advisor)
The theme chosen for the dissertation is based on the research which deals with the question how to transform a real perception into abstraction. In a free way, I am inspired by my abstract paintings created through all my master's degree study. For a long time, the subject matter of my paintings has been the blending of structure, light and landscape. By gradual simplyfication and penetration of scenery motives with arquitecture and living nature, I try to create a complex piece of work. This abstract composition exposes always with particular impression of landscape's mood. It also stylizes a question, what we are focusing on and where we are looking, while being fascinated by the scenery - when staring into space.
Čeština 2.0 a Hacknutá čeština: neortodoxní slovník dnešní mateřštiny - language analysis of selected neologism
VESELÁ, Aneta
The main goal of this thesis is to analyse neologism terms chosen from the Čeština 2.0 a Hacknutá čeština: neortodoxní slovník dnešní mateřštiny dictionaries. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces both projects including the newest lexicographical platforms with emphasis on so called blend terms. The material obtained by the excerpt is subjected to a thorough linguistic analysis, we focus on the degree of creativity in the creation of selected neologisms, expressiveness and, last but not least, inclusion or non-inclusion in the common vocabulary. The aim of the work is to contribute a partial probe to the research of Czech neologisms.
Nomination of persons by their activity in the Russian language in a confrontation with the Czech language
Hendrych, Jaromír ; Nazarenko, Liliya (advisor) ; Liptáková, Zuzana (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with Nomination of persons by their activity in the Russian language in a confrontation with the Czech language. The theoretical part of this bachelor thesis deals with ways of creating words and motivations of nomination of persons by their activity in the Russian language and the Czech language. It also analyses word-formation in both the languages. The practical part of this bachelor thesis deals with already specific comparisons of typology of nomination in terms of word-formation categories of nomination of persons by their activity in the Czech language and the Russian language e.g. productive ways of word-formation, productive formants in both the languages (prefixes, suffixes etc.) and their differences. There is also a question of gender inflection of nomination of persons by their activity between the Russian language and the Czech language that this bachelor thesis deals with. Design of a blender for the homogenization of a fine-grained granulate
Daňhel, Jan ; Štěpánek, Vojtěch (referee) ; Hermanský, Dominik (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with construction of double cone blender for use in the pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries. There is described a process of blending and possibilities of constructing the blenders in the first part. There are also recommendations for choosing the right blender for the application. Second part is devoted to construction of double cone blender and basic strenght calculations of its parts.

Automatic People Counting from Panoramic Photography
Blucha, Ondřej ; Kolář, Martin (referee) ; Veľas, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with automatic people counting from panoramic photography. This is very useful for counting large number of people, such as on the stadium or on the concerts. It consists of the two parts. The first one is image stitching, which process the images by the feature-based methods. The second part is people counting using face detection, where were used Viola-Jones detector. The ideal setting of parameters for used methods was experimentally selected.
Image Morphing and Warping
Kuběna, Petr ; Šilhavá, Jana (referee) ; Venera, Jiří (advisor)
Warping and morphing are computer effects that are mainly used in show-bussines. Thessis contains procedures and techniques that are necessary for their creation. It is aimed at work with discrete two-dimensional image. Integral part is the demo program, which allow users to create such effects.
Forensic Identification of Child Faces
Klíma, Ondřej ; Španěl, Michal (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
This thesis is focussed on children's faces comparison. Its aim is to create the application providing functions for photocomparison and ageing. Both these parts work with portrait photos of children. Photocomparison purpose is a metric expression of similarity of two portraits independently on their age. Ageing is a tool for the simulation of an individual's growing old on the photo. Principles of both functions are based on geometric morphometry methods, particulary on procrustes analysis and thin-plate spline aproximation.
Deinterlace Filter
Kuřina, Tomáš ; Španěl, Michal (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
This document elaborates on the subject of video interlacing and its removal. It describes the interlacing of video, its history and the reasons that led to its use. The document also explains why it is necessary to remove interlacing and the basic methods that are used for it. It describes the proposed deinterlacing algorithm and its implementation, including description of inpainting and block matching. Included are also test results of both quality and speed of my deinterlacing algorithm. The final chapter describes the implementation as a console application and a DLL library.
Medical Data Rendering in Real-Time
Lengyel, Kristián ; Havel, Jiří (referee) ; Jošth, Radovan (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and implementation of an application for medical data imaging in real-time. The first part of project is focused on methods for obtaining data in medical practice and visualization of large volume data on computer using familiar rendering approaches. Similar applications are used outside of medicine in other fields, such as chemistry to display molecular structures or microorganisms. Another part of project will focus on benefits of visualization of volumetric data using programmable hardware and new methods of parallelization of algorithms on graphics card using CUDA technology, and OpenCL. The resulting application will display the volume of medical data based on selected method accelerated by programmable shaders, and time-consuming operations will be paralleled on graphics card.
