GUI Tool for Vulnerability Measurement Based on OpenSCAP Library
Oberreiter, Vladimír ; Michlovský, Zbyněk (referee) ; Barabas, Maroš (advisor)
This work describes the SCAP standards (Security Content Automation Protocol) determining the level of computer security and the OpenSCAP library providing a framework to the SCAP standards. It also describes the way of designing and creating security tool using the OpenSCAP library. This tool enables to search for known, potential system vulnerabilities and check the system configuration according to previously set criteria.
e-Learning System in the Education of Mathematical Disciplines
Pánik, Tomáš ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Štancl, Vít (advisor)
Nowadays, mathematics is an elementary study area. A person who has not encountered it is hard to find. However, students often loathe mathematics and are afraid of it. Goal of this term project is to design and analyze software for mathematics education for elementary school, middle school, and high school students. We describe the motivation behind the software and its functionality. The software will be used solely for self-study. We attempt to create software which would ensure that students are not afraid of mathematics and that they enjoy their studies.
Analysis Tool for the Network Traffic Content
Mareš, Martin ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (referee) ; Veselý, Vladimír (advisor)
This paper is about designing and implementing a tool for analysis of the network traffic content. Work is part of the SEC6NET project at FIT - Brno University of Technology. The paper describes specific requirement for such a tool and existing solutions. The main part is devoted to design and implementation of new tool - Netfox Detective. Several problems are handled: data persistence, performance, extensibility, etc. The last part of work describes possibilities and features of the Netfox Detective. The work emphasises extensibility and future development of a created tool.
Chord recognition
Soudek, Ondřej ; Glembek, Ondřej (referee) ; Černocký, Jan (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to create an application, that will perform a real-time analysis of a signal from electric or acoustic guitar and will recognize a chord or tone, played by user. This document contains basics of music theory and the solution of the problem, as well as the results of testing.
Design and analysis of three-phase induction motor
Svoreň, Jan ; Skalka, Miroslav (referee) ; Vítek, Ondřej (advisor)
This project is focused to projecting and analysing the three-phase induction machine. It starts with introduction to principle functions of electrical machines and their design issues. The main objective is to develop a method to calculate and analysis a smaller machine. The design involves the calculation of the main dimensions of the machine, the calculation of the number and dimensions of the rotor and stator grooves and calculation of the stator windings. Designed machine is analysed by calculation and finite elements method.
Design and analysis of split-phase induction motor
Nekovář, Martin ; Hájek, Vítězslav (referee) ; Vítek, Ondřej (advisor)
The bachelor‘s thesis deals with the construction, operation principle, design method and analysis of the magnetic circuit of single-phase induction motor with auxiliary phase. The auxiliary phase is considered as winding with series connected electrolytic capacitor. In the first charter is written a general view of single-phase motors. Furthermore, in the following section discussed the design of these machines. Principle of operation as the next section contains an explanation of torque using the theory of two magnetic fields acting against each other. The design method of single phase motor is described the procedure for calculating. Subsequently, two proposals of single-phase induction motor with auxiliary winding were developed according to the method of design and an analysis of their magnetic circuits using the finite element method was made.
Script Language for Image Processing
Crlík, Radek ; Španěl, Michal (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with capabilities of scripting languages and their types. Specifically with design of one such language suitable for image processing. The goal was to create a language small enough, but easy to use. One of the requirement was to utilize OpenCV library, for which the resulting code would be as short as possible. First part deals with descriptions of scripting languages, their main philosophy and options of language processing by the computer. Second part contains description of the designed language. Last part documents achieved goals and possible ways how to extend the language even further.
Detection and Analysis of P2P Network BitTorrent Sync
Kutlák, Martin ; Polčák, Libor (referee) ; Matoušek, Petr (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis is focused on issues with detection of the P2P network BitTorrent Sync in network traffic. In the theoretical part of this work is introduced architecture of the P2P networks, BitTorrent Sync protocol and possible methods for P2P network detection. On the base of this knowledge is designed tool for detection of BitTorrent Sync network traffic. In the practical part of this thesis is presented implementation of the whole monitoring system. In the end of practical part are presented results of conducted tests with monitoring system.
Vector Analysis in GIS Systems
Životský, Tomáš ; Peringer, Petr (referee) ; Hrubý, Martin (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the geographic information systems   with an emphasis on so - called vector analysis . The aim of the thesis is to create a library that implements the internal representation   of geographic data and performs analytical operation over them .  The thesis describes the logical structure of the application and the hierarchy of abstract classes . In the form of pseudo -code is shown a set of individual computing operations . Work is strongly based on geographic system GRASS. This GIS is connectable through  import and export vector data in shapefile format. Concept of   storing layers is designed for ease of data manipulation and  their portability . The main idea behind the application is to split the library into individual modules . These modules are  independent , but also can benefit from each other's functions . In conclusion are demonstrated implemented vector analysis and  representation of their calculation .
