This bachelor thesis is about the analysis, design, and implementation and testing of an application, which is used to find duplicates in photographs according to it's Exif metadata. The app can also let you preview the photo, including Exif metadatas. It is possible to filter your photos. You can group duplicates with the original photo, and select the best photos to keep it in accordance with a user-defined parameter, then manually adjust this option, and deleting others. There is also a possibility to export selected photos to a ZIP archive.

The aim of this thesis is to create a module into an existing application called mediadiff for comparing documents of the Open Office office suite, including text documents, presentations and spreadsheets. This thesis describes algorithms for comparing text and tree structures. Furthermore, there are described the best known office suites and Access to the content of their documents.

Improving an Existing System for Clustering Binary Files

The increase in the amount of information requires advanced processing of data. One of such methods is cluster analysis. It is a process of classification of objects based on their similarity. Anti-malware companies analyze large amount of files every day. In order to speed up their analysis, a cluster-analysis tool was implemented in AVG Technologies. The goal of this work is to improve this tool for clustering binary files by adding support and heuristics for cluster analysis of APK and DEX file formats. Apart from the newly added support for APK and DEX files, the tool has been extended to support cluster analysis of archives. Everything was tested and put into production.

Virtual Filesystem to Access Contents of Archive Files

This bachelors's thesis describes design and implementation of a console application, which could be used for creation of virtual filesystems from archive files. These virtual filesystems are managed by the means of the FUSE library. Application supports several types of archive files, for some of them even write support is implemented. Support for additional types could be easily integrated via designed interface.

Subsequently , the implementation analyzis is provided . Following next, the brute - force attack procedure levereging GPU is proposed and evaluated.

Password Recovery of ZIP Archives Using GPU

The main goal of this thesis was to expand tool Wrathion by adding yet unsupported encryption methods of .ZIP format and by adding support for .7z format. This thesis contains the description of used technologies, detailed analysis of formats denoted above, as well as the description of module designs and implementations. All functionalities were tested on real devices. The measurement results contain information about time needed for password recovery, performance and acceleration of the password recovery. The thesis also covers comparison with other known tools.

This Thesis deals with analysis of the possiblity of password breakthrough for common compression formats and password extraction from self-extraction archives used for malicious software. Structure of compression programs, ciphers and connection between cipher and archives is described. Common and specialized attacks on archives and ciphers are described. Structure of self-extracting archives and password location is used to create extractor of passwords in self-extracting archives.
