The impact of technology development on the aviation industry

The diploma thesis deals with the impact of technology development on the aerospace industry. The first part describes brief history of aviation and its most important milestones. In the next chapter, current technologies are analyzed in aviation, from commercial and operational activities, through airports, air traffic controllers to passengers. The following chapter describes future trends in technology development, especially regarding the ecology and automation of activities. The last chapter compares air transport with rail as its potential source of threat on short and medium distances.
Vývoj v oboru virtuální reality - analýza stávajících podniků v Praze

This thesis analyses the development of virtual reality industry. The theoretical part of this paper is dedicated to the evolution of virtual reality industry throughout the years, it identifies main reasons why virtual reality did not become viral in the past and provides a correlation between the prices for VR headsets and level of technology adoption. Also, it describes which stage of industry life cycle virtual reality is and compares it with the technology adoption process. In this part of the thesis, also, are analysed businesses that operate in Prague and their role in the adoption of new technology. The practical part of this paper is the result of quantitative research conducted in order to understand what percentage of people have already tried virtual reality services, to evaluate their experiences and to figure out who is the typical consumer of VR offering business in Prague based on customers of Torch VR in a period between August 2016 and beginning of April 2017.
Analysis of trends in companies with emphasis of Industry 4.0

The diploma thesis called Analysis of trends in companies with emphasis of Industry 4.0 meets with sphere of trend of Industry 4.0. This work provides the basic theoretical know-ledge about conpcet of Industry 4.0. The theoretical part of this work also includes techno-logical and social aspects of fourth industry revolution. In the practical part of the work is performed analysis of readiness czech companies for trend of Industry 4.0. On the base of results of analysis concluding recommendations are determined.
The first and second war in the Gulf: significance of the technological superiority in modern warfare

This bachelor thesis is focused on role of modern technology in outcome of first and second Gulf war (1991 and 2003 respectively). Thesis is evaluating the role of technological advantage on the battlefield, skill difference between actors, role of air force, air supremacy and psychological and moral factors. Main goal of thesis is to compare the importance of all those factors in relation to the outcome of conflict(s) and review main theoretical approaches that offers explanation of how and why the conflicts ended the way they did. Both war campaings are thoroughly analyzed and compared against each other and confronted with the specific theories. Main discovery is, that the great results were caused by synergistic relation mainly between skill, technology and air support. Special chapter about practical and policy implications for AČR (Army of Czech Republic) is located at the end of thesis.

(english): In the theoretical part, I deal primary with defining the concepts of doll production and it is history first in a global context and than specifically in the Czech Republic. I also cover historic all production technques by artisans, the revival of there traditional technques as well as various doll produstion techniques. I highlight some of today's craftsmen as well as their personal stories about getting started in the handmade doll production. Next, I delve into rules and guidelines for doll production as well as doll selection by the consumer. A the end of theoretical part, I deal with the different types of gameplay with dolls along wth gender aspect. The first part of the project deals with the relationship between the person hand making the doll and the doll itself. It also includes a small making project with childern. The second part is the project goes over a collection of dolls I have handmade in the last three years divided according to production technique and further subdivided need on material, labor and suitable age. The third part is the research, Which has determine whether the observation of the making process of dolls can influence the kids. It seems that it reflects on the relationship or the playing with the doll. Keywords: pre-school education, research, didactic...
Archeology of enchantment by new technologies in science discourses

v anglickém jazyce The theses focuses on enchantment by new information technologies which occurred in humanities and social science discourses at the turn of twentieth and twenty-first century. Using archaelogical method of Michel Foucault and its recent inspirations historical epistemology and ontology it investigates the conditions which built the term enchantment in aesthetics. Based on examinig Max Weber's thesis about the disenchantment of the world the work finds that the concept of enchantment implies epistemological and ontological contradictions. These tensions can be traced also in contemporary interpretations that use the concept of enchantment in connection with new information technologies. In conclusion, the theses consideres the possibility of using the concpet of sublime discourses for the description and explanation of the phenomenon, which do not imply the contradictions present in the notion of enchantment.
