Basic Issues of the Expertising from the Risck Management

This master´s thesis deals with the identification of risks which affect the operations of experts activities in the Czech Republic. To obtain the necessary information there will be used a questionnaire in which the forensic experts in the field of Economy will be addressed.In the first part of the thesis there are described theoretical recourses which contains the explanation of basic concepts which are connected with identified risks. The second part of the thesis deals with the professional insurance of experts. By the SWOT analysis will be processed each expert knowledge on the topic of “The Basic issues of the expertising from the risk management.“ Finally will be evaluated the current state of expert activities in the Czech Republic and will be suggested possible measures.

The Information Security Management in Company

This master thesis is focused on the design of implementation the information security management system in the company according to standards ISO/IEC 27000. First of all, it was described the theory of information security management system and it was explained the relevant terms and other requirements in the context of this issue. This assignment involves analysis of the current situation of the company and suggestions that lead to reducing discovered risks and bring improvement of the general information security.

The Evaluation of the Investment Project in the Selected Company

The goal of this diploma thesis was to evaluate the complex investment project of modernization of production halls selected companies. The literature search methods are described, which were subsequently applied to the actual calculations on the basis of which were compiled cash flows of investment, determined discount rate calculations performed indicators selected from among the methods of static and dynamic. Was subsequently identified and assessed the risks associated with an investment by using Monte Carlo simulation. The conclusion of this work the company receives a recommendation whether or not to implement the project.

The diploma thesis deals with internal audit of the purchase process in Slovácké strojírny, a.s. Uherský Brod. The main aim is to evaluate current situation and offer recommendations that would create added value to the organization. The analysis of current purchase situation was the core for risk identification using the „What can go wrongs“ method. Based on these findings the controls and corrective measures leading to risk reduction and suggested. Consequent implementation will ensure improvement of purchase department functioning and will lead to higher efficiency in execution of strategic and operative activities.

Master´s thesis deals with the evaluation of economic efficiency and risk analysis of change of two investment projects conducted in company Lucidum Millennio s. r. o. The thesis is divided into three main parts, which are theory, analysis and proposal. The theoretical part specifies the essential knowledge needed to evaluate the economic efficiency of investment. Analytical part is focused on the evaluation of the financial health of the company (strategic and financial analyses). The proposal is concerned with the introduction of investments, evaluating the economic efficiency of construction of the new production plan and analysing risks related to diesel generator.

The master‘s thesis discusses the evaluation of the project regarding the purchase of machinery scissors for GAFLEX, s. r. o., which is a major producer of chimneys and provider of chimney services. Work is divided into three parts, where the introductory part addresses theoretical platforms dedicated to funding and investments, the second part is an economic impact assessment and an analysis of the firm, and the third section contains proposals for potentially funding an investment in the company and evaluating the effectiveness of the investment.
