Growth and formation of the teacher's role in connection with participation in the pilgrimage

This bachelor's thesis, entitled Growth and formation of the teacher's role in connection with the pilgrimage jurney to Santiago de Compostelo, first deals with the concepts associated with the teacher's personality in the theoretical part. It describes the teacher as a profession, his position in society and what are the motives for choosing this particular profession. The work also describes the professional path of teachers. We can divide this path into beginner, experienced and conservative teacher. Another topic of this part is stress and the burnout syndrome, and the last chapter of the first part is dedicated to shaping the teacher's role and self-reflective professional development, which is connected to the term ALACT. The next chapter is dedicated to personal development, specifically self-knowledge and human being at this moment. The last chapter describes the pilgrimage jurney to Santiago de Compostela itself. In the beginning of this chapter are divided the possible routes that leads to Santiago de Compostelo. The following is a list of symbols associated with the journey, and there are also chapters on accommodation and motivation for the pilgrims. The empirical part of thesis is devoted to the analysis of the statements of three pilgrims who made the pilgrimage jurney to Santiago de Compostela. Before the pilgrimage jurney and also nowadays are teaching and they educate how their experiences and opinions changed during the jurney, through the qualitative research method of Interpretive Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). The research questions were: VO1: What was the difference in the approach to the teaching profession after completing the trip? VO2: How did your view of yourself change after completing the trip? VO3: What were the strong moments and experiences during the trip? VO4: In what areas did the trip affect the informant's life? The results give us an insight into the pilgrims' experience of completing the pilgrimage jurney to Santiago de Compostelo. They show us the clear changes experienced by the pilgrims as a result of completing the pilgrimage jurney. The most important changes took place within their profession as a teacher and family.
Experiencing atopic eczema from the perspective of young adult women

The presented master thesis is focused on the issue of atopic eczema. The aim of the thesis was to map the experiences of young adult women with atopic eczema, with an emphasis on their subjective experience of this disease. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part and an empirical part. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the reader to the topic. It defines the term atopic eczema, describes its specifics, forms, etiopathogenesis and treatment options. It also deals with the psychosomatic approach as one of the possible approaches to this disease. In the theoretical part, the psychosocial aspects of atopic eczema are also taken into account, including the impact of the diagnosis on the quality of life of adult patients. The theoretical part is followed by the empirical part. Here are presented the results of a qualitative study in which eight semi-structured interviews were conducted with young adult women who were diagnosed with atopic eczema during their lifetime. By analyzing the data obtained, nine main categories were identified, which capture the individual experiences of women with atopic eczema. Experience of peer rejection during childhood and adolescence (through the eyes of young adults)

This bachelor thesis deals with the experience of young adults with peer rejection in childhood and adolescence. The theoretical part deals with the general characteristics of rejected children, reasons for rejection, forms of rejection and the consequences of rejection on the personality. Furthermore, attention is paid to differences in the perception of rejection and last but not least to the actual management and adaptation of rejected children. The research section, which is made qualitatively, using in-depth interviews, summarizes the experiences of young adults with peer rejection they have experienced in the past and focuses on how they coped with that experience.
Pandemic Covid-19: Senior´s point of view

This bachelor thesis titled Pandemic Covid-19: senior's point of view is divided into two parts. Theoretical part is focused on describing basic terms linked to old age, characterizes senescence as an ontological stage and makes a brief introduction of its periodization according to different authors. This part subsequently describes aging and changes that are closely related with the process - biological, psychological as well as social. It also depicts senescence as a social phenomenon linked to stereotypes and prejudices, and also works with the issue of ageism. The following chapter is devoted to the theme of a crisis occurring in one's life, introduces typology, causes, stages and evolving of the crisis, and also presents certain methods of dealing with unexpected situations. Last chapter aims to clarify Covid-19 pandemic and its specific events and demanding situations. The introduction covers basic terms, characterizes coronavirus, and outlines the process of coping with the pandemic in the Czech Republic. Senior's point of view about the pandemic and coping mechanisms are discussed in the conclusion of the theoretical part. Practical part of the thesis evaluates data from a survey that has been done by JUPSYCOR project and describes experience and coping mechanisms of seniors in the Czech Republic. The data were analyzed in the programme ATLAS.ti and then evaluated by a qualitative method.
The COVID-19 crisis from the perspective of the homeless

The bachelor thesis aims to represent experience of the homeless people with an epidemic of covid-19 infectious disease. The Theoretical part tries to explain the basic concepts related to this socio-economic phenomenon and describe especially its psychological aspects including needs, motivation and mental health. The second half of the theory focuses on the issues of difficult life situations, stress, coping and also summarizes known mental health implications related to the epidemic. The empirical part presents results of qualitative research which was realized in the preiod from September 2020 to May 2021. Data collection took place using a semi-structured interview. Research sample consists of 12 informants. The aim was to examine the impacts of the coronavirus epidemic on informants lives and inner experiences, as well as to identify ways and strategies to cope with the situation that has arised. The problem can be understood as an accumulation of 2 intertwining crises, which result in limited opportunities for dealing with homelesness.
The impact of the pandemic Covid-19 on single living seniors

The bachelor thesis deals with the description of the impact of the covid-19 pandemic on single living seniors. At the beginning of the work, the age and the associated changes and pitfalls are described. The issues of deprivation, isolation and separation are also discussed. In the last chapter of the theoretical part, the bachelor thesis focuses on epidemics and pandemics. This chapter describes their impact on the human psyche and how to manage it using coping strategies. The empirical part consists of research focused on the impact of the covid-19 pandemic on single living seniors. Within the mixed design, the principles of quantitative and qualitative methods were used. In the quantitative part, there was a comparison of single living seniors with those who live with a partner or family. The qualitative part focused on a closer study of the experiences of those who have to cope with this pandemic situation themselves. The data used for this bachelor's thesis come from the JUPSYCOR research project, which obtained information using a questionnaire survey during the first wave of the Covid-19 pandemic in the Czech Republic.
The impact of distance education on the well-being of elementary teachers

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of the impact of distance education on the well-being of a primary school teacher. It is divided into a theoretical part and an empirical part. The theoretical part describes the reason for the introduction of distance education, its characteristics and legal parameters in the Czech Republic. It also deals with the impact of major life changes on the experience of individuals, defining the concept of stress and reactions to it. Effective methods of managing stress such as coping strategies, social support, emotional and social intelligence and self-efficacy are briefly mentioned. The consequence of long-term intense stress - burnout syndrome - is also described. In the empirical part, the research is characterized, the aim of which was the personal view of 15 teachers on distance learning and its effects on their experience. A semi-structured interview method was chosen to collect qualitative research data. The analysis was carried out in the form of open and axial coding based on grounded theory. The results of the work provide a description of specific impacts, which are also schematically anchored. The bachelor thesis deals with unemployment and its social and health consequences. The objective is to capture the reaction to the loss of employment which are common phenomenon. The work contains chapters for the issue of unemployment, it's subjective and objective causes and significance of work in human life. More attention is devoted to the psychological, somatic and psychosocial consequences associated with unemployment. Conclusion of the theoretical part is focused on strategies coping with job loss. Experiencing of schizophrenia and staying atdepartment of psychiatry

A theme of this bachelor thesis is a subjective experience of psychosis and stay at department of psychiatry. The aim of this thesis is to provide a view into psychosis from patients' prism as well as an effort to map their experiences in a certain way by searching for common features. A theoretical part of the thesis outlines a concept of psychosis or more precisely mainly a concept of schizophrenia from several points of view - psychiatric, psychological theories of S. Freud and C. G. Jung, socially developmental, cognitive, constructivist and also alternative point of view. It also briefly deals with issues concerning experience with regard to pathology of psychosis and options of its treatment. An empirical part of the thesis which is based on the author's personal research created using a grounded theory describes experiences of five respondents from psychiatric ward and also experiencing of psychosis focusing on a psychotic episode. The questions in the research are also focused on reasons of hospitalization, individuals' understanding of a situation, influence of psychosis on other people, contribution or disfavour of hospitalization or treatment.
