TIME MANAGEMENT – a tool not only for students who procrastinate

This master thesis introduces term time management and describes steps for its successful implementation to our practical life. The aim of this thesis is to describe students´of University of Economics knowledge of this term and found out if study on this university and mainly passing course Management of Personal Development can expand their knowledge of this term. Mind mapping is used to deal with this aim. These mind maps ilustrate what students ideas about this term are. From the mind maps´ analysis arise that students of this university know time management very well, however passing the Management of Personal Development can highly expand this knowledge.
Time Management as one of the managerial competencies

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of time management as one of the managerial competencies needed to successfully perform managerial work. The diploma thesis shows a theoretical point of this theme, its application in practice and empirici research. The main aim of diploma thesis is to show to managers the possibilities of such self- assessment may be carried out in the field of time management, discover their strengths and weaknesses in this area and find potential opportunities for development. To develop the empirical part of diploma thesis I chose technique of management shadowing, method of 360degree feedback and Competency Based Interview. Into the research I have included three manager women of non-profit and profit organizations. The research resulted serious and less serious individual shortcomings in the theme of in time management. The most serious shortcomings may include reluctance to delegate tasks, which is due to a lack of confidence in the ability of colleagues and subordinates managers, and inability to reject the request due to a sense of guilt against the applicant. Promoting Czech Priorities in Eastern Partnership: Three Czech Presidencies

The thesis "Promoting Czech Priorities in Eastern Partnership" deals with Czech policy towards six states of Eastern Europe and Southern Caucasus during three presidencies: in Visegrad Group in years 2007/2008 and 2011/2012 and in the Council of EU in 2009. These periods were chosen, because Czech Republic had the biggest opportunity to influence the project in them. Based on the analysis of presidency programms and evaluation of agenda, the thesis tries to assess, if was Czech Republic successful in promoting its foreign policy priorities in the project during the presidencies. First chapters of the thesis are dedicated to history of Czech relations with the region of Eastern Europe and to description of Eastern Partnership project. The other three chapters are case studies of particular presidencies. After all, the thesis concludes, that despite the fact, that Czech Republic successfully included its priorities in presidency programms and agenda, it was not able to promote them on the EU level because of lack of political interest and experience.

(in English) The thesis "Information Policy of European Union in Bangemann's activities period in comparison with USA" is devoted to the Information policy issue applied by the European Union and the United States of America. The thesis structure is defined at the earliest; afterwards the basic terms are followed. The thesis describes the European Union history, which provides context needed to be able to understand the European Union Information policy. The description and evaluation of the European Information policy in Bangemann's activities period in comparison with USA in the same time period and the possibility of mutual utilization of pros of the Information policy of both countries is the aim of this thesis. The following part is occupied with the comparison of EU and USA Information policy at the beginning of 21st century.

TITLE: Support of human being with heavy bodily handicap and their family AUTHOR: Jana Rázková DEPARTMENT: Department of Special Education SUPERVISOR: PhDr. Monika Mužáková, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: In my bachelor thesis I focus on the support of a person with a severe physical disability who lives with his or her family. In the theoretical part, I describe the family, physical disability, psychosocial aspects of disabilities, impact on relatives, and social and respite services. The findings of the observation in our family complement theoretical information. The aim of my thesis is to get familiar with the issues of the life of a person with physical disorder at home, the impact on the family life, feelings and attitudes of the people who have appeared in a new life situation. In the practical part, I focus on the life of our family, new life situations and changes of our values and priorities. I undertake the case study of my mother, state the interviews with my family members (my husband and children), and add my own point of view on this way of life. For an integrated view, I also describe a daily routine of a person with a disorder supported by the family or an assistant. I continuously evaluate all the parts of the text. Russian geopolitics - constants and changes after the split of the USSR

As the diploma's thesis it was chosen the theoretical analysis of the geopolitical position of Russia. The primary objective of this study is the evaluation of current geopolitics of the Russian Federation after the collapse of Soviet Union and outlines its future development. This work tries to answer a few basic questions. What is the current geopolitical situation in Russia, in what direction it develops, and whether we can declare a major shift to any direction. The work is divided into several main parts. Introduction is followed by a theoretical grasp of key concepts and the main actors involved in geopolitics. The other two parts contain an analysis of the relationship of Russia to key actors such as the US and NATO, the EU, China, the near neighborhood in Central Asia and the Transcaucasia and geopolitics of oil and natural gas. The last is practical part, in which the information from the previous sections are applied to specific examples in Russian foreign policy. Time factor in the managerś work

The diploma thesis deals with time management in work of three managers. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is based on study of scientific literature. It is focused on management, managers personality, managers functions and roles. Thereafter, time management techniques and methods are described. Information from theoretical part provides a complex base for the practical part. In the practical part, the organization and managers, who are the subject of this thesis are described. For the time management analysis was used time frame, forms for analyzing interference and forms for identifying the major time consumers. Furthermore, individual conducted interviews with each manager were made. The interview revealed the managers attitude to the importance of the time factor in their managerial work. On the basis of information obtained from analyzes and interview, the shortcomings were discovered. Recommendations for elimination of shortcommings were suggested together with recommendation for more efficient use of time.
