Hruška, D. Strategy proposal for ENGETO Academy. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2020. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to design strategies to the company ENGETO Academy through a strategic analysis of the external and internal environment, which would ensure the development of the company and strengthen its competitiveness. The theoretical part of the work is based on the literature and focuses on basic concepts and methods in the field of strategic management and planning. The practical part builds on the knowledge gained in the theoretical part and analyzes the very functioning of the company. The external environment is analyzed using PESTE analysis and Porter's model of five driving forces. The internal environment is evaluated on the basis of the principle of key factors. Based on individual analyzes, opportunities, threats, strengths and weaknesses of the company are identified. The factors are evaluated using EFE and IFE matrices and the most important factors are identified. Through SWOT analysis, individual strategies are proposed, one of which is selected and economically evaluated.

Thesis deals with strategic management of translation and interpretation agency. The main objective of this thesis is to identify the competitive position of the company, which makes possible to design appropriate business strategy. PESTE analysis and Porter´s five forces analysis are used to analyse the external environment. Analysis of the internal environment is done by using the 7Ps marketing mix and financial analysis. The financial indicators are compared with major competitors. Results of analyses are used for formulating strategies using the SPACE matrix and the SWOT matrix. At the end of the thesis the strategy of utilization of subsidies for company development is chosen together with recommendations for its implementation.
Změny v odvětví pivovarnictví a jejich ekonomické dopady na malé české pivovary

The thesis is focused on the brewing industry in the Czech Republic and changes within it which influenced the development of small Czech breweries. An analysis of the industry is performed using the Porter's Five Forces model focusing on the five competitive forces represented by the threat of new entrants, the bargaining power of suppliers, the bargaining power of customers, substitute products or services, and established rivals. Market concentration is also analyzed given the changes in the brewing industry. Changes in consumer demand and their influence on the brewing industry are examined subsequently. In particular, the change of consumer preferences leading to an increased consumption of stronger beers or aspects of beer selection are analyzed. Based on the findings, the impacts of these changes on small Czech breweries are described. In the next part of the thesis, economic results of selected breweries are compared using the indicators of value added margins, return on assets, return on equity and return on sales.

The main aim of this thesis is to evaluate the attractiveness of the branch of the financial advice in Czech Republic and to develop a strategy for enterprises considering enter the branch of financial advice. Fulfil the main aim is practised by PESTE analysis and Porters five forces analysis. The results of these methods define attractiveness of the branch. The branch of financial advice in Czech Republic is rather attractive according to results of this thesis.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to formulate recommendations, that will lead to the development of a company operating in the engineering sector. The proposed strategies will be based on internal and external environmental analyzes. Macro environment are analyzed by PEST analysis. To analyze the micro environment is used Porter's five forces analysis. The internal environment is evaluated through financial analysis, Porter’s value chain and resource audit. An auxiliary tools for strategy formulation are the internal-external matrix (IE) and SPACE matrix. Specific strategic recommendations are designed by SWOT matrix. At the end of the thesis, the strategies are generalized for other companies operating in the engineering sector.

Handlířová, A. Attractiveness of the cleaning sector in the Czech Republic. Master’s thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2018. This master’s thesis deals with an analysis of the cleaning sector in the Czech Re-public. The main aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the attractiveness of the whole sector and to develop recommendations for companies operating in the sector, as well as enterprises considering entering the cleaning sector. For analys-ing the macro-environment, the PESTE analysis was used and micro-environment was analysed by using the Porter’s five forces analysis with objectification. Oppor-tunities and threats of the cleaning sector were identified from results of the analysis. In order to evaluate the attractiveness of the branch and to make rec-ommendations, EFE, GE and SPACE matrix were applied. The sector’s recom-mended strategies are the market development, the product development and the market penetration.

Chládková, M. „Marketing mix in selected retail store“. Bachelor Thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2019. This bachelor thesis is focused on analysing the current marketing mix of a selected retail store. Its aim is to improve selected elements of current extended marketing mix. Proposals are based on the analysis of external environment, competition and market research. In order to fulfil the aim of the thesis, a literature review is carried out, within which the basic concepts are defined. Individual methods of analysis such as PESTE, Porter's five driving forces model, competition analysis and EFE matrix are applied in the results of the work. The store's internal environment was explored by using an expanded marketing mix. A questionnaire survey was used to make recommendations for improvement and to identify the target customer. The most appropriate proposals are assessed from the economical point of view.

The goal of this thesis is to propose a strategy for further development of the company Figarostav. Theoretical background for the thesis is introduced in the first part of the work. The second part implements analyses of internal and external environment. SLEPTE and Porter’s Five Forces analyses are used for external and 7S analysis for internal analysis. Based on these analyses are identified strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Acquired factors are arranged into the SWOT analysis and final strategies are later determined. The chosen strategy is economically evaluated and prepared for an implementation to serve the specific needs of the company.

Predna K., Internet promotion for the Escargots company, Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2019. Bachelor thesis deals with a proposal of an online promotion for the Escargots company. The main goal is to propose an online marketing campaign based on a situational analysis for reaching potential customers and increasing brand awareness. The inner analysis is performed applying the McKinsey’s 7S model, the outer analysis is performed utilising the Porter’s Five Forces model, Google Analytics tools were also used in the thesis. The result of the analysis is a proposal for a marketing campaign. The campaign includes a financial plan and time-bound for Google search engine marketing and Facebook. The proposal concludes with a discussion of the gained results and recommended changes

The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to propose a strategy for the reconstruc-tion of the accommodation management, which will lead to increased competitive-ness. It uses external and internal analysis to suggest changes to the accommoda-tion. Firstly, literary research has been carried out, which deals with the concepts of tourism and management, followed by the analytical and design part. In the analytical part, through the PESTE analysis and the Porter model of the five driving forces, an environmentally friendly environment has been identified and, through an expanded 8P marketing mix, complemented by a questionnaire survey, strengths and weaknesses as well as information that people would like to see as part of the facility. In the questionnaire, 150 respondents were addressed via an online questionnaire as well as in person. Some questions were based on the 4C marketing mix. Subsequently, a SWOT matrix was set up to identify some strategic objectives. The resulting strategy has been built on the 8P extended marketing mix and focuses on increasing competitiveness, improving quality, and raising awareness of the accommodation facility.
