The bachelor thesis describes organic farming in general terms, explains the function of certification organisations and compares the basic criteria. It focuses on the differences in subsidy policy in the compared countries, which are the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria. It also seeks to highlight the possibilities and opportunities in the field of organic farming. It also highlights the weaknesses and strengths of the sector. It finally suggests possible further developments in organic farming.

This thesis examines the impact of sustainable food production on consumer behaviour. In order to achieve the aim of the thesis, an analysis of organic farming in the EU and the Czech Republic, an analysis of the organic food market in the Czech Republic and an assessment of the willingness to pay a higher price for or-ganic food were carried out. A questionnaire survey was also conducted among consumers to determine their opinion on organic products and their purchasing behaviour towards these products. As a result of the thesis, it was determined which factors influence consumers' purchasing behaviour towards organic products and which factors are barriers to the purchase of organic products. Recommendations for consumers and producers involved in the production and sale of organic food were also formulated.
Heuristiky v rozhodování spotřebitelů na trhu udržitelných potravin

Sustainability and sustainable food are an increasingly discussed topic in society. Their importance is increasing due to the protection of the environment, which is being destroyed by the food industry. The diploma thesis was created with the aim of creating a proper marketing communication strategy to promote sustainable food in the Czech Republic. The objective was achieved through the analysis of a questionnaire survey in which 750 respondents (n=750) participated. Based on their responses, marketing recommendations for increasing sales of sustainable food were developed, supported by behavioural theories of consum-er behaviour.
Quality of selected meat products produced in standard and organic quality

The aim of this Master thesis was to compare the presence of used preservation substances and basic ingredients in meat products made in regular and bio-quality. In practical part of the thesis, a polarization measurement was done with the aim to determine whether there is a quality difference between these two production qualities. The obtained data were subsequently processed and statistically evaluated. The statistical evaluation showed that the basic composition of meat products in regular and bio-quality is basically identical in percentage. Furthermore, the frequency of used preservation additives in different foods was statistically evaluated as well. In conclusion, food products in bio-quality showed 0.7 less additive content compared to regular food product, however, the difference was still weighed as statistically insignificant.

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of ecological agriculture in the district of Tábor. The theoretical part describes the basics of organic farming, the state and development of ecological agriculture in the Czech Republic and in the world. The work focuses on evaluating the state of ecological agriculture in the district of Tábor using statistical methods, qualitative and quantitative research. Finally, there is an evaluation of the entire research and recommendations for practice.

Abstract The topic of this bachelor's thesis is "The Consumer Market with Organic Food in the South Bohemian Region" and it deals with the current market situation. The goal of this thesis is to analyse customer's approach to shopping of organic food, also looking for the weakest side of customer-organic food relationship and to define the direction how the customers think of the purchase. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts such as organic farming, defines legislation in labelling requirements and certification of organic food, the functions of organic farming control companies and production and processing of organic food. The results in the practical part were achieved by evaluation of a questionnaire survey and data analysis from the respondent's survey. Finally, the author suggests recommendations based on data analysis from the obtained information.
CHOSEN SALE'S FROMS OF BIOPRODUST - RETAIL CHAINS

The principle aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze sale of organic food within selected retail chains. Specifically, it is determination of the sale strategy, assortment structure, conditions and culture of the organic food sale. The thesis comprises a part of the MSM 0652104020 research project of the College of Economic fo the South Bohemian University. The first part of this thesis summarizes theoretical information on ecological agriculture and organic food market. The practical part is based on questionnaire enquiry and analysis of offering lists. Questionnaires were sent to the management of retail chains operating in the area of the South Bohemian Region and including organic food in their offer. Single organic foodstuffs from the offering lists were analyzed and retail chains with so-called ``good practice{\crqq} were identified on their basis. The best offer of organic food is presented by the Interspar and Terno chains. For the present, retail chains are not significantly interesed in purchasing of organic products originating from the South Bohemia. The reason for this is that they operate within a nationwide scope. All retail chains addressed expect a slightly dynamic development of the organic food market. In the conclusion of the thesis, strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats of sale of organic food in retail chains are identified (SWOT Analysis).
Czech Public on Organic Food – Food 2020

The CVVM also included a block of questions concerning organic food in the special Food 2020 research which was focused mainly on food waste and shopping as well as the consumer behaviour of Czech citizens.\n\nJust under a quarter (24%) of the public in the Czech Republic is interested in the topic of organic food, while 76% are rather not interested or not interested at all. On top of that, compared to 2017, the interest decreased slightly.\n\nIn general, women who also buy organic food more often as well as people aged 20 to 44 and respondents who rate the standard of living of their household as good, are more interested in the topic of organic food.
