Title: Reasons why children in pubescence (age 14 - 18) terminate their sport activity at judo competitions Objective: Goal of my dissertation work is to find out possible reasons why children terminate their sport activity at judo competitions in pubescence. Methods: A survey sent to 42 judo trainers and 21 children helped to find out the reasons why children terminate their sport activity at competitions at the age 14 - 18. Results: We have found out that the main reasons are feeling of anxiety before the match, lack of time and demanding studies at high school and university out of the hometown. Title: Motivation for Practicing Judo for Children in age between 11 and 15 years. The Aim of The Thesis: The aim of this thesis was to find out which motivation factors are the most importatnt for the judo athletes in age between 11-15 years. We studied all the necessary literature, collected informations about this topic, and established quantitative questionnaire. The result of this thesis is suggestion for coaches based on received information about which motivation factors are important for children and which are not. Method: Experiment will be provided by using quantitative questionnaires established for judo athletes in age between 11 and 15. Title: Judo training concept of children in age group 8 to 10 years (U11) Objectives: The main objective of this work is to describe and evaluate a judo training concept for children in age group 8 to 10 years (U11). The secondary objective is to create a suitable test battery valid for children of this age. Methods: The thesis has an empirical-theoretical character. The work incorporates analyses of professional literature from the areas of general sports and judo training, data collection, and t-test and Spearman's rank correlation coefficient statistical methods. Results: The results of the thesis show that it is very important to focus on the growth of all the individual components of the training based on the age and development specifics of the children. Title: Changes in the rules of judo in the olympic cycle 2008-2012 Objectives: The aim of this work is to evaluate and make changes to the rules of judo influenced its development in recent years. In the broadest spectrum compare different techniques of judo and usability at different times. Determine judo hold index most frequently evaluated techniques. Based on changes in the rules to try to explain whether they are attempts IJF (International Judo Federation) to return to the "original " judo success. Methods: Analysis of literature from the history of judo and judo training, The method of observation, interview method, document analysis captured in the form - written form, printed version, video, film Results: Most rated technique in selected competitions during the 2000 - 2004 were: kata guruma, seoi nage, te guruma. For the period 2004 - 2009: kata guruma, seoi nage, te guruma. For the period after 2009 : uchi mata, seoi nage, harai goshi. Didactic concept of fall technique in PE

Title: The concept of teaching judo fall technique Goals: The aim of the work is to explain in detail the fall technique. The main goal is to create a training program and describe the gradual steps to learn the fall technique. Methods: In this work, we used the method of data collection and analysis of available materials regarding judo, fall technique and combat in education. Then we compared the occurrence of combat in the school curriculum. Subsequently, we modeled an ideal training program for learning fall technique. Results: We have found that the control of fall technique is very beneficial for life and important from both a preventive and conditioning point of view. At the same time, we found that fall technique almost does not appear at all in school educational programs. And based on that, we have created an ideal training program during which these techniques can be easily learned in physical education classes.  Comparsion of the blood lactate level of an elite judokas during training and competition loads Objectives: The aim of this study was to compare the lactate level of an elite judokas during training and competition loads and to identify potential relationships with other entering variabilities. Methods: The chosen method was empirical, ie collecting data from its own research and statistical representation of the data and linked to the context with other studies. Results: It was found that lactate levels during competition load increases dramatically over training load and pulse rate has no statistical significance as an indicator of the accumulation of lactate. Title: The difference in planning a training session in selected categories of judo Goal: The main objective is the comparison and analysis of the results from the questionnaire survey given by trainers in different approaches when planning and creating an annual training plan. This is followed by drawing up training units in each period in different ages. Methods: We are using a questionnaire survey, qualitative research, analysis of the specialized literature in the field of general sports training. The respondents of questionnaires are younger pupils to adolescents. Results: The findings of this study have shown us, the importance of preparing the annual training plan, as well as written preparation in form of individual notes. Monitoring of reaction abilities in different age categories of judo athletes.

Title: Monitoring of reaction abilities in different age categories of judo athletes Objectives: The aim of the thesis was to assess the influence of judo on the reaction abilities among different age groups of judo athletes. This finding should help to develop a view of necessity of focusing on reaction abilities during exercise unit. Methods: During the research a reactometer was used to capture simple and complex reaction time to visual stimulus and tactile response. Overall 166 individuals (100 men, 66 women) took part of the monitoring from which 3 were excluded. Every proband has undergone one test measurement (5 stimuls at least) and two evaluated ones (20 seconds each). The shorter - reaction time score was consider as a result for the particular test. The outcomes were utilized via Kruskal - Wallis test, Pearsons's and Spearman's correlation coefficient, Mann - Whitney's test and others. Results: The biggest difference between reaction period was observed between the age group of 8-10 and older groups. This category has also significantly differed in reaction period and the highest median. Statistically any notable difference was not confirmed among judo athletes and our control group in contrary with the situation between individual age categories. Testing of Developmental Dyspraxia in Children and Adolescents in Martial Arts - Judo and Taekwondo

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the level of motor skills in children and adolescents dealing with judo and taekwondo and to determine whether the level of motor skills differs between children with a suspected risk of ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) compared to children without this risk. Another aim of this study is to evaluate the level of attention and find out whether it correlates with the level of motor skills. A total of 65 probands aged 9-13 years participated in the study. The experimental groups consisted of children competing in judo (n = 35), children practicing taekwondo (n = 19) and children attending taekwondo classes in physical education and hobby groups (n = 11). The Movement Assessment Battery for Children 2 test was chosen to test motor skills. To detect a suspected risk of ADHD was used the Test Go / NoGo and the level of attention was tested by theTest of attention d2. A significant difference in favour of judists was found between the results of motor skills of children and adolescents in comparison with the racing group of taekwondists (p = 0.045) and also in the results of individual components, namely in the balance component (p = 0.051).
