The influence of the internet on society: The issue of distribution of audiovisual content

The aim of this work is to analyze the influence audiovisual content distributed on the internet on society. The first part focuses on the theoretical framework and explains important notions for the rest of the thesis. The second part focuses on specific issues. This part deals with the positive and negative influences of the content on the behavior of people in society. The work deals with the reasons that motivate users to download illegal content and examines how is possible to limit this download and whether is this downloading harmful or not. The bachelor thesis also addresses how the monitoring of inappropriate content affect the thinking of the children and how can parents against these negative influences protect their children.
The Web 2.0 environment and its usage in business corporations

The main goal of my Bachelor thesis is to bring basic information about the Web 2.0 environment and its advantages for business corporations. In the first part of thesis I define the Web 2.0 environment and the key differences betweet Web 2.0 and Web 1.0. Next I describe specific advantages which firms can achieve by implementation of Web 2.0 environments elements in relationships inside the firm, relationships with costumers and relationships with business partners. The next part is primarly oriented upon social networks and I describe various tools and techniques which can be used to analyze advertising pages on social networks. The added value of my work is in analysis of a company and the method it uses social media sites. After a detailed analysis constructed with a chosen tool I purpose some changes that could improve the actual state.
Problems with searching for information on the Internet

This bachelor thesis is about the problem of searching for information on the Internet. The goal of this thesis is to provide important information on how internet search engines work, with special attention paid to the full-text search engine. The paper was divided into several parts. In the first part I focused on the description of the functioning of full-text search. In the second part, I discussed the other types of search engines, and I have listed their advantages and disadvantages. In the third part, I focused on the formulation of search queries. I dedicated next part of the paper to introduce some specific search engines and services they offer. The last part of the thesis refers to the survey, which highlights the problems encountered by users when searching for information on the Internet.
Analysis of online hypermarket with an emphasis on the use of IT technologies

This Bachelor's thesis aims to describe in theoretical part the history and dynamics of development of the global and Russian e-commerce market. Special attention is paid to a segment of online food sales in the Russian Federation (Moscow, St. Petersburg). The practical part analyzes the activity of a hypermarket KUPISMENYA, the market leader in the food segment on territory of St. Petersburg. This thesis also conducted analysis the basic processes for systematization of online grocery store.
Impact of the Internet in (university) education

This thesis addresses the impact of the Internet and information technology in university education. It shows us what the positive and negative characteristics of these technologies are and how they affect students in our information society. In the first part, the author of the thesis deals with the analysis of the basic concepts in the context of work. The next section presents the factors by which it is evaluated, the implementation, use and removal from lessons, in the context of the Internet and information technologies. In the last part the SWOT analysis method is used, which is based on a critical analysis of sources and a survey conducted.
Online trends and sentiment and their possible application in stock market prediction

The goal of this thesis is to assess information contained in internet user's activity. I focus on two sources of data: Google Trends and sentiment contained in StockTwits posts. For both of them I examine the correlation of its percentage changes and percentage changes of variables describing the stock market development. Econometric testing consists of three phases, first is Least Squares Method, then ARIMA model, and lastly testing for Granger Causality. Conclusions are that activity of internet users does contain valuable information. The correlations are strongest for firms operating in IT business or generally focusing on modern technologies. Strong correlation is between trade volume or market volatility and Google Trends, whereas sentiment in post on StockTwits is statistically significant for stock price development.
The use of audiovisual work in marketing within the corporate presentation

The goal of this bachelor thesis is to reveal some basics about the use of audiovisual work in marketing within the corporate presentation. It contains analysis of the usage across media and historical background. It focuses on how the work is used and how effective it is in online and television enviroment. Practical part describes the development of the concept of penetrating the market with the new digital marketing agency.
The perception of brands online stores on the Czech market

This thesis examines the perception of brands online stores on the Czech market eyes of consumers in the age range 18-30 years. Three examinees brands online stores are the biggest players on the Czech Internet market. The first is Alza, second Mall and last Kasa . The aim of this work is based on its own survey to identify the perception of brands largest Internet shops in the Czech market. The theoretical part deals with the flagship brand, the Internet environment and consumer behavior of Internet users. In the practical part the analysis and comparison of selected online stores using Internet applications. Furthermore, it summarizes the results of the survey, which was conducted electronically. The results show that the most popular online store is Alza.cz.
Participation 2.0: Does Internet increase civic engagement in Czech Republic?

While in Western democracies the study of the impact of Internet on civic and political participation is very popular, in the Czech Republic this type of study is still at the beginning. It is merely focused on the impact of Internet on voter turnout and political campaigning. However the study of the impact of the Internet on civic and political participation from the indivdual level is still missing. Because of that te aim of this study is to analyze the impact of Internet use on political and civic participation. Based on my research I analyzed the internet activities and main factors that influence participation. The results of this study show that Internet is not going to be a panacea for political participation.
Effective communication on social networks, focused on Facebook

My thesis deals with principles of small firm's effective communication and also with planning of communication campaign on social networks. It also contains description of the most popular and important social networks useful for marketing activities. Essential part of my thesis is implementation of my theoretical knowledge into real case. This leads into making an universal manual for campign's preparation and beggining.
