The aim of the Bachalor's thesis is to analyze the real financial situation of RETAL Czech, a.s during the period 2006 -- 2010 with the help of the most widely used methods of financial analysis, compare it to competitor and the branch. The thesis is divided into 2 parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical one are described methods which are used in practical part. Practical part contains real dates, usage of methods from theoretical part and comparison with competitor. In conclusion is summary of my analysis including my recommendation.

Financial Analysis of Cooperative

The implementation of financial analysis in Západočeské konzumní družstvo Sušice by using financial analysis methods and the implementation of intercompany comparison in the chosen cooperatives. The summary of theoretical knowledge from the area of financial analysis, which are primary focused on the cooperative's needs and on the intercompany comparison. The theoretical knowledge are after that applied on Západočeské konzumní družstvo Sušice. Based on the final values of chosen financial analysis indexes is made the appreciation of cooperative's financial situation. The last part of work is the intercompany comparison in the chosen cooperatives by using the given indexes.

The financial analysis of the firm and the intercompany comparison

This thesis is divided into two main parts-theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part I occupy myself with the essence of the financial analysis, methods of the financial analysis, bankruptcy models, models of financial standing and methods of intercompany comparison. The practical part is concentrated on the processing of the financial analysis of dm-drogerie markt, s. r. o. in the years 2008-2010 and on the comparison with competitors in the same branch-ROSSMANN, spol. s r. o. and SCHLECKER, a. s. in the same period. For the comparison I used ratio indicators, bankruptcy models (Altman Z-score, IN95), financial standing models (Kralicek Quick Test, Aspect Global Rating)), method of sequence, spider analysis. At the conclusion I evaluate all three companies with respect to their financial situation and with respect to their position on the drugstore market.

Financial analysis of the company Arysta LifeScience Czech s.r.o.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to assess financial health of the company Arysta LifeScience Czech s.r.o. during the period of 2006 - 2011. Theoretical part of this thesis contains the calculation methodology of the indicators of financial analysis, including justification for their use. The practical part of this thesis focuses on assessment of financial health of the company using the indicators introduced in the theoretical part. Financial analysis is conducted from the perspective of managers, using internal company data. The conclusion summarizes the findings of the financial situation, identifies strengths and weaknesses of the company and offers recommendations for improvement of the current situation.

Financial analysis of Hanácká kyselka, s.r.o.

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to evaluate the financial situation of Hanácká kyselka, Ltd. between years 2006 and 2010. The presented analysis is based on publicly available accounting reports. The thesis is separated into two parts -- a methodological one and a practical one. In the methodological section, we describe selected financial analysis indicators, and in the practical part, we apply the selected indicators on real data of the selected company. We compute specific absolute, differential and ration indicators. Further, the practical part includes a pyramid break-down of an equity rentability and an intercompany comparison. In conclusion, we summarize the findings and propose solutions for an improvement of the financial situation of the company.

Financial analysis of Oseva Agri Chrudim, a. s.

The goal of the bachelor thesis entitled "The financial analysis of Oseva Agri Chrudim, a. s." is to assess the financial situation of the company Oseva Agri Chrudim, a. s. during of period 2005-2010 based on the methods of the financial analysis and find out his competitive strength. Financial analysis is elaborated for potential investor from data of annual reports, balance sheet and profit and loss account. For analysis of company were used horizontal and vertical analysis of balance sheet and profit and loss account, next analysis of net working capital, ratio indicators, pyramidal system INFA, economic value added and bankruptcy prediction and financial solvency models. The next part of thesis is intercompany comparison with relevant competitors on the market and with sectoral average. The conclusion includes summary of the results and recommendations for improvement of the financial situation of the company.

The financial analysis of agricultural company AGRIMA Draženov a.s.

The aim of the bachelor thesis entitled "The financial analysis of the agricultural company AGRIMA Draženov a.s." is to assess the financial situation of the company AGRIMA Draženov based on the methods of the financial analysis. To achieve this objective, I chose the horizontal and vertical analysis, an indicator of the net working capital, ratio analysis, pyramidal decomposition of ROE and bankruptcy and credibility models. Another goal was to make comparison with other similar agricultural companies. For the comparison the information from the database FADN CZ and Institute of agricultural economics were used. In conclusion I reviewed whether or not the objectives were achieved and summarized the most important results of the performed analysis.
