Application of modern technologies for the production of spare parts airsoft guns
Král, Ondřej ; Zemčík, Oskar (referee) ; Jaroš, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes design and manufacture of airsoft spare parts. Selected spare parts were hammer and spring holder, which were designed in 3D parametric software Autodesk Inventor 2016. Chosen method to manufacture spare parts, was Fused Modeling Deposition, which is part of Rapid Prototyping technology. The device for producing parts was 3D printer uPrint. The manufacture of silicon mould was based on printed spring holder, which was used for parts manufacture, by casting plastic materiál. Thesis is completed with a technical-economical evaluation, in which it was found that the silicon mould casting is more profitable in the production of more parts.
Design of Stirling Engine Operating at Low Temperature Difference
Gavač, Adam ; Kolář, Ladislav (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
The aim of this study is to acquaint the reader with the Stirling engine, which is one of the possible alternatives to generally known combustion engine. The theoretical part has three major purposes: First is to describe thermodynamics of the Stirling cycle in the range that is essential for comprehension of the engine`s operating principle. Second is to mathematicaly derivate expression for the efficiency of the ideal Stirling cycle. Third is to discuss each of the essential parts of the device. Concepts acquired in the theoretical part were employed to design a digital model in the parametric modeler Autodesk Inventor. Parts were manufactured by a combination of typical and progressive technologies. Engine was assembled and tested afterwards.
Production of planetary gear set model on 3D FDM printer
Magdon, Jan ; Prokeš, Tomáš (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
This Bachelor's Thesis is looking into designing of a planetary gearbox then subsequent production with using the Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) technology. The first part describes the production process using additive technologies, focusing mainly on FDM technology with properties of materials used in this method, then the theory of planetary gears with their practical use. The second part is devoted to production of model planetary gearbox, which is designed with regard to possibilities of FDM printer. Single parts were designed in 3D programme Autodesk Inventor Professional 2016. Finally the product is evaluated technically and economically.
Assembling and Functional Verification of a Home 3D Printer
Tesař, Jaroslav ; Zouhar, Jan (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
This thesis was created as a bachelor project in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at VUT in Brno. In the theoretical part, the additive technology Rapid Prototyping is introduced together with the most common methods, followed by the assessment of advantages and disadvantages of the new technology and its possible uses in various fields of human activity. In the experimental part of the diploma thesis was assembled and the printing parameters were set. Consequently the comparison models were printed on the 3D home printer and on professional printer Dimension uPrint. The accuracy of the printers is compared. The thesis concludes with the analysis of technical and economical parameters.
Recycling plastics for 3D printing
Hellebrand, Martin ; Kolář, Ladislav (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
Purpose of this paper is analysis of basic Rapid Prototyping technologies including FDM. Technologies are compared in matter of possible recyclation of used materials. The largest recyclation potential appeared in case of FDM technology. There were conducted analysis of basic materials used in this method. Possible methods for recyclation were described. Finally, there were conducted economical analysis to evaluate viability of recyclation in case of FDM.
Design and Manufacturing of a Prototypical Assembly of an Inline-four Engine Using Rapid Prototyping Technology
Al-Kheir, Raduan ; Kouřil, Karel (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem prototypování a tvorbou 3D modelu jako součásti procesu produktového vývoje. Prototypový model motoru je konstruován s využitím parametrické aplikace CATIA v5 a vyroben s použitím aditivní výrobní technologie– metoda Fused Deposition Modeling. Teoretická část práce se věnuje problematice produktového vývoje, aditivní výroby a řadou konstrukčních a funkčních charakteristik motoru. Praktická část práce pak popisuje proces návrhu a výroby prototypového modelu motoru. Práce je ukončena technicko-ekonomickým zhodnocením navržené sestavy.
Production of Preparation Prototype Using Additive Method of Fused Deposition Modelling
Sedláček, Milan ; Kouřil, Karel (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the production of a product using the increasingly popular additive technologies Rapid Prototyping. The theoretical section explained the very rapid prototyping technology and its application in various sectors. There were also mentioned different materials to use for 3D printing and actual printing method. The practical part was focused on the prototype modeling in SolidWorks CAD software and the subsequent production of elements of the 3D printer uPrint, using additive method Fused Deposition Modeling. In the conclusion, there is the evaluation of prototype production and also cost comparison using alternative materials.
Construction and production of the floorball stick blade using Fused Deposition Modeling
Jelínek, Vít ; Dvořáček, Jan (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
This work combines 3D printing technology (Rapid Prototyping) with the sports industry. Using mentioned modern technology was made functional model blade floorball stick, which originated in the engineering design 3D parametric software Autodesk Inventor. Work will explain the history of floorball and individual methods increasingly popular and more affordable 3D printing, through which could be modeled blade floorball stick. Conclusion contains techno-economic evaluation, where will be disclosed the pros and cons of the use of Rapid Prototyping technology in this sports industry.
