Determination of risks, benefits and efficiency in the implementation of the information manufacturing system MES in production
Hladík, Milan ; Luňáček, Jiří (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the analysis of the possibilities of implementing the MES manufacturing information system in a company that focuses on the production of medical devices. The thesis is divided into several parts. Firstly, the theoretical background of the thesis is described and then the current situation in the company is mapped out in detail, especially the area of using paper documentation, the so-called DHR. In the practical part of the thesis, the time and financial savings for the company in case of implementation of the system are then quantified, as well as the cost of the investment. Subsequently, the benefits and risks that may arise in such a large-scale project are identified, and at the same time measures are proposed to eliminate these risks completely or reduce their impact. It also includes a proposal for the time allocation necessary for implementation, including the division into individual phases in which the system would be deployed for production. The thesis concludes with a calculation of the return on investment and a proposal for a solution.
Book Digitization Management System
Václavek, Lukáš ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This thesis focuses on improving and automating the workflow of document digitization for primarily library institutions, but also other organizations. It analyses the processes of digitization in Moravian Library and deals with the development of a web application to optimize this process. The application will allow users to manage the digitization workflow from a simple environment that allows them to control the necessary scripts. The core of the web application is built using the Python programming language and the Django web framework. The work also includes a secondary application that is implemented using the Go programming language due to the emphasis on the speed of their scripts.
The influence of digitalization on business model
MLÁDKOVÁ, Eliška
The thesis focuses on the nature and magnitude of the impact that digital transformation has on the business model. The theoretical part of the thesis explains the terms commonly used in the field of digital transformation and describes the concept of business model including its types and templates for its creation. The thesis includes a sample mobile application created in Power Apps, which is used for reporting hours. This application is linked to a report created in Power BI via an automated flow created in Power Automate. This report is used for a visual overview of the hours reported. A sample business model of a fictitious company that specializes in website development, mobile application development and web hosting is also created as part of the work. The Lean Canvas template was used to create the model.
The Benefits and Risks of Digital Technology in Social Work with the Seniors
MATOUŠOVÁ, Jana
This thesis is prepared using an interdisciplinary approach of social sciences such as theory of social policy, social work, sociology and psychology and gerontology. It deals with the current application of 4.0 technologies (such as digitalization) in order to analyze the attitudes of seniors and social work connected to this respective group of the population. The thesis also addresses the issue of adaptation to changes with the coming era of 4.0, not only for the senior population groups, but also for workers in the field of gerontology (social workers, workers in social services, gerontopedagogues, educators, etc.). It also focuses on searching the optimal possibilities of effective use of digitalization for life of seniors with the aim of increasing their quality of life.
Modernisation and digitization of assembly line
KAČEROVÁ, Lucie
The thesis aims to analyse the introduction of digitisation in the selected plant and its ad-vantages. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the history of industry, the current fourth industrial revolution with an emphasis on the automotive industry in the Czech Republic and shows selected trends of digitization. The second half of the thesis focuses on the specific digitization of the production board, the analysis before and after the im-plementation, the implementation phases, as well as the advantages and obstacles of the implementation. The analysis is based on the employee's own experience of the chosen company. The output of the analysis is the tipping point of the selected investment and the timeline of the introduction in the selected plant.
Selected algorithms for detecting objects in the image and their use in guilding the robotic arm
ŠTINDLOVÁ, Lucie
This research work is focused on the detection of searched places in the image using selected algorithms. The work shows how closely physics is connected with informatics. In addition to the connection of these two areas, the work deals with the explanation of issues related to the fields. First of all, the algorithm is defned as such, as it is one of the key concepts in this work. Furthermore, the work characterizes the image and working with it not only from a cybernetic point of view, but also from a physical point of view. In this case, physical areas examining and describing electromagnetic radiation are expanded to better understand the image. Given that one of the final algorithms is practiced on the image from the thermal camera, the principle of the thermal camera function is generally explained in the work. Attention is also paid to neural networks (artificial intelligence) and the robotic arm. Several areas are mentioned in which this physical-cybernetic system is used. The practical part deals with the Python programming language, in which the basic algorithms are used, which can be used to detect an object in the image. Based on these and similar algorithms, which I would like to elaborate in more depth in the diploma thesis, the robotic arm will be guided.
Application of new technologies in service sector
TACHECÍ, Tomáš
This bachelor thesis provides a basic summary of services automation regarding the initiative Industry 4.0 and apprises the reader with an insight on currently available automation and digitalization technologies. The technologies are analyzed and brought into connection with the tertiary sector of the economy. The research was done on selected retail chains with consumer goods (Terno, Globus). This thesis aims to analyze the customer structure, outline the various types of cash zone check out and interview customers about their chosen behaviour in the cash zone in selected retail chains. This thesis informs the reader about the organization's ongoing processes based on interviews made with the managers of both previously mentioned retail chains. The proposal of suitable measures is presented according to the data obtained in the research. Selected organizations can further develop and implement these measures within their establishment.
The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the digitalization of Czech political parties
Alexová, Magdaléna ; Perottino, Michel (advisor) ; Brunclík, Miloš (referee)
The aim of the thesis is to assess the impact of the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic on the process of digitalisation of Czech political parties. The first part will provide the necessary insight into the issue of digitization of political parties and the tools that parties can use in it, including their consequences. The second part will focus on the nine most important Czech political parties (ANO 2011, ČSSD, KDU-ČSL, KSČM, ODS, Piráti, SPD, STAN, TOP 09), on the elements of their current digitization and the changes they have resorted to during the Covid-19 pandemic. We find that there are significant differences between the parties in their ability to successfully digitalize, which has manifested itself during a pandemic by their ability or inability to adapt flexibly to new conditions, adopt new digital tools and thus keep the party running effectively. The thesis will answer whether these differences, and thus the way in which the parties coped with the Covid-19 pandemic, are related to their structure and organization.
Digitization of data for non-conforming pieces (NOK) in the company
Ježek, Jiří ; Zuth, Daniel (referee) ; Maradová, Karla (advisor)
The Masters thesis is focused on the digitalization of data for non-conforming pieces with NOK status made on assembly line. It is mainly about designing a solution that will help to eliminate the nowadays outdated analogue methods. For the choice of digitization, two methods of solution implementation will be proposed in the thesis along with the method of data reporting. These streamlining will consequently lead to not only time but also economic savings for the company. The thesis concludes with recommendations for further development and economic evaluation.
Device for scanning the museum collection
Drapač, Lukáš ; Janáková, Ilona (referee) ; Honec, Peter (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with designing and construction of the device, which should improve the digitalization of the museum collection of Easter eggs in terms of effectiveness and data presentation. This thesis presents design of the device, which was printed on a 3D printer, and the hardware components of the device. Programs for controlling the device and rendering 3D models of Easter eggs were written in C++, C# and Java. When started, the device takes pictures around the perimeter of the Easter egg and processes them. The results are 3D models, which can be viewed from Gallery in the desktop application.
