Weiss, David
This bachelor's thesis focuses on the financial and digital literacy of Genera-tion Z in the Czech Republic. The main objective of this thesis is to identify the level of financial and digital literacy of the representatives of Generation Z. The level of financial and digital literacy was determined using a classification scale. Research questions were also set and evaluated to get a more accurate understanding of the current status and to understand where Generation Z stands in terms of financial and digital literacy. A survey was used to meet the objective of this thesis. The questions from the survey were then individually reviewed and evaluated. The scores for both financial and digital literacy were equal to approximately 4 out of a possible 8 points, indicating a predominantly average, i.e., neither high nor low, level of financial and digital literacy for Generation Z. Tihon, Štěpán ; Kitzbergerová, Leonora (advisor) ; Raudenský, Martin (referee)
The diploma thesis focuses on the possibilities of developing digital competencies within the scope of art in basic education. In the theoretical part, it focuses on the definition of terminology related to digital forms of art, names the basic principles of new media and focuses on new technologies or phenomena of the digital world, which have a significant influence on the current requirements for the acquisition of these specific competencies. In defining areas of digital competence, the text relies on conceptual models that seek to define a coherent language that unifies terms related to different digital literacies. In the conclusion of the theoretical part, the thesis maps the strategy of the educational policy of the Czech Republic in relation to the implementation of these models in curriculum documents. The resulting outcome is a confrontation of the observed issues with the field of art education and its theoretical starting points. The practical part of the work presents a conceptual analysis of the proposed art education lessons aimed at the systematic development of pupils' digital competences. It is supported by the presentation of my own creative activities, which served as a reflective tool used during the design of the submitted assignments. KEYWORDS Digital competence, digital...

Mwongela Kavua, Martin ; Šiška, Jan (advisor) ; Pančocha, Karel (referee) ; Tichá, Renáta (referee)
The study focused on establishing how teachers use their digital literacy skills to facilitate learning in Kenya and the Czech Republic. This was achieved by focusing on four objectives: to identify how teachers apply digital literacy skills to facilitate learning; to establish self- efficacy in digital literacy among primary school teachers of learners with disabilities in Kenya and the Czech Republic; to investigate the challenges to the application of digital competencies in class by teachers of learners with disabilities in special primary schools; and to explore how teachers of learners with disabilities overcome the challenges faced in the application of digital competencies. The study was guided by the Self-efficacy element of Albert Bandura's Socio- Cognitive Theory. A descriptive research design was used for the study. The target population for the study was teachers of learners with disabilities in primary schools in Kenya and the Czech Republic. Probabilistic sampling was applied in the study. A semi-structured questionnaire and observation checklist were used to collect data from 456 teachers: 329 from Kenya and 127 from the Czech Republic. A mixed-method approach was used in the analysis, where statistical methods including descriptive, independent sample and chi-square tests were...
