Comparison of activities of the Mountain rescue service of the Czech republic and Mountain rescue service of the Slovak republic

The thesis is divided into two parts, namely the theoretical part and the research part. The theoretical part is divided into Slovak and Czech parts. In both parts, I will focus on the history of mountain services both in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, describe the organizational structure of these organizations, the binding legislation, the layout of the bases, the qualification requirements for the occupation of the mountain rescuer, their competencies and specializations. The research part examines and compares the differences between the Czech Mountain Rescue Service and the Slovak Mountain Rescue Service. To gain knowledge, I chose a qualitative type of research in the structured form with five Czech and five Slovak professional mountain rescuers. The goals were comparing competencies (medical and other competencies); I was also wondering about admissions and main content (the most frequent interventions) in different areas of expertise of mountain rescuers.
The Competencies of Employees in the Accounting Position

The aim of this thesis is to analyze and evaluate the activities and competencies of accountants and to propose various types of education that would help improve these skills. Another goal is to suggest an optimal workload of employees for the accounting position. The analysis of competencies and activities was carried out by questionnaires whose respondents are employees in the accounting position. The data obtained from the questionnaires were evaluated using the Mann-Whitney U test and the Chi-square test in the STATISTICA environment. Based on the results, the job description was designed in such way to cover all the duties the accountant has to fulfill within his / her position and equally leaving room for specific requirements of clients.
Competences of Social Workers in Social Services in the Social Activation Service for Families with Children

7 Abstract The diploma thesis examines the topic of competences of both social workers (SW) and workers in social services (WSS) in the social activation service for families (SASFC) with children in the district of Chomutov. It aims to describe the legal competences of SASFC workers and subsequently to check the actual practice in the field of competences of SASFC workers. The theoretical part of the thesis defines social workers and workers in social services mainly according to the Act on Social Services. The second chapter then defines SASFC and further defines the concept of family from the point of view of typology and functions. The chapter also presents the possibilities of social work with the family and maps the services of the SASFC in the Chomutov district. The last chapter defines the concept of competence and lists the professional qualification prerequisites for SW and WSS based on the Social Services Act. The practical part of the thesis presents the research goal and used methodology. The methodology of respondent selection and data collection is described. The ethical principles and limitations of the investigation are mentioned. The subject of this work is to describe and present the program The Leader in me as one of the possible starting points of the current educational effect on students of all levels of the educational system in terms of their equipment with competencies. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts related to the framework educational program, key competencies in education and the school educational program. Cílem této práce je vytvoření návrhu na rozvoj manažera v soukromém podniku. Prostředkem k tomuto cíli bude vytvoření funkčního kompetenčního modelu, jehož pomocí budu měřit komepence manažera. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na definici manažmentu a funkce manažera, dále definici komepencí a jejích členění. Následně popisuje jednotlivé fáze pro tvorbu kompetenčního modelu a druhy rozvoje vzdělání. Praktická část je zaměřená na popis daného podniku. Poté následuje vytvoření funkčního kompetenčního modelu a jeho praktického ověření. Dalším krokem je měření aktuálních kompetencí manažera, na jehož základě je vytvořen návrh na další jeho vzdělávání.
The use of co-teaching in the education in the Czech Republic

The work focuses on the investigation of the usage of co-teaching methods in English language classes at the primary school in Prague (respectively at the second level of the selected primary school). It deals with the specifics of co-teachers' cooperation and the implementation of co- teaching in English classes in a Czech school with a focus on examining how the competences defined for effective co-teaching are fulfilled. The theoretical part of the work is concentrated on the introduction to the nature of co-teaching nowadays and on the defining the co-teaching characteristics. In the practical part, the data obtained through interview methods, questionnaires and observations are represented to analyse the course of co-teaching in English classes and to find out at what level co-teachers master the competences defined for effective co-teaching.
Educational needs of state employees implementing the consumer protection agenda

This diploma thesis has the goal of identifying the educational needs of civil servants carrying out administration of consumer protection for Czech Telecommunication Office and to propose suitable educational activities for this group of employees on the basis of an executed analysis of educational needs, in the interests of improving the effectiveness of administration. For the purpose of complex understanding of the issue of educating civil servants, the first part of this diploma thesis discusses the general characteristics of corporate education. It also explains the concept of competence and describes the possibility of utilising competency modelling in personnel processes. The chapter devoted to the education of civil servants in the context of current legal regulations, is an integral element of the theoretical part of this diploma thesis. The empirical part of this paper is devoted to the methodology. It defines the research goal and research questions. It also describes the entire process of the executed analysis of educational needs, from the pre- preparatory phase, to proposal of measures. Congruence of managerial competencies of teacher, headmaster and business manager

This thesis deals with the managerial competencies of school teachers and headmasters. It also focuses on finding the common features of such competencies as are shared by the two aforementioned professions and company managers. Its main aim is to find out whether a successful teacher would be equally successful in the position of a headmaster, or whether a company manager can be a successful headmaster without having worked as a teacher. The theoretical part deals with the definition of "management" and managerial functions, the definition of school management, and "classroom management". The personalities of a manager, their qualities, knowledge, skills, the term "leadership" as well as "competencies" are also clarified here. At the end of this part there is an analysis of managerial competencies in the position of a company manager, headmaster, and teacher as well. The practical part analyses the subjective perception of the job duties, required qualities, skills and competencies in teachers, headmasters and managers. The thesis contains a comparative research. Differentiation of teaching in a class of a primary school by a learning task

The thesis focuses on differentiation of teaching by learning tasks at primary school. The theoretical background deals with possible ways how to effectively use learning tasks for children's development and to motivace them to the other activity. Furhemore it includes competencies which enable teachers to differentiate them to create variants of learning tasks. The practical background seeks which didactic variants of learning tasks teachers use in their teaching. Supervision as a source of support for midwives

This work is focused on the profession of midwifery and supervision in this profession. The main objective was to identify the sources of stress and perceived support midwives in their work and determine, whether the supervision rendering source of support for midwives. The theoretical part is concerned with the context of the profession of midwives and then presents the profession in the Czech Republic, especially the education and competence, as provided for developing legislation. For comparison options are, also presented Conditions profession of midwives in selected European countries. Separate chapters are devoted to sources of stress to which the midwife faced in their work, the concept of resilience as its counterweight and finally sources of support that midwife in the exercise of their profession can earn. In the empirical part of the thesis is a qualitative research technique using focus groups. Its aim is to describe the factors that act as sources of stress or support in the profession of midwives as they see themselves. Using analytical story is then presented contemporary painting experience midwives set in the context presented in the theoretical part.
