Confidence in constitutional institutions and satisfaction with political situation - September/November of 2022

In the period from the first half of September to the beginning of November of 2022 within the regular survey the Public Opinion Research Centre questioned respondents about their confidence in constitutional institutions. In this survey there was a question about their trust to the Chambers of Parliament, the President, the Government, and Local and Regional Councils.\n33% of Czechs trust the president, 28% trust the government.\nThe Chamber of Deputies has the confidence of 28% and the Senate of 34% of the public.\n13% of Czech citizens declare satisfaction with political situation, 62% are dissatisfied.

In November and December 2021 within the regular survey the Public Opinion Research Centre questioned respondents about their confidence in constitutional institutions. In this month there was a question about their trust to the Chambers of Parliament, the President, the Government, and Local and Regional Councils. 36% of Czechs trust the president, 33% trust the government. The Chamber of Deputies has the confidence of 30% and the Senate of 32% of the public. 11% of Czech citizens declare satisfaction with political situation, 55% are dissatisfied.

Popularity of Top Politicians - October 2019

In October 2019 the Public Opinion Researcch Centre investigated whether respondents trust to selected top politicians. They were given a list with 30 names of top politicians. In a survey there were included names of membres of government, president, chairmen of Senate and Chamber of Deputies, chairmen of parliamentary clubs of political parties in the Chamber of Deputies, chairman of Constitutional Court, governor of the Czech National Bank, and ombudsman.

Popularity of Party Representatives - September 2019

In September 2019 the Public Opinion Research Centre of the Institute of Sociology the Czech Academy of Sciences investigated whether respondents trust to selected politicians. They were given a list with 19 names of top politicians who represent political parties present in the Chamber of Deputies.
