Digital camera noise analysis
Weszter, Juraj ; Druckmüller, Miloslav (referee) ; Štarha, Pavel (advisor)
In pictures taken with digital cameras, undesirable noise in the form of pixel-to-pixel image intensity variance is present. This thesis, after an introduction to digital image processing, describes the main sources of such noise and subsequently analyses image data recovered from selected camera devices via stochastic methods. Ultimately, a C# software implementing the portrayed methods is briefly presented.
3D triangulation technique for object reconstruction
Pospíšil, Petr ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Janáková, Ilona (advisor)
My paper work deals with the 3D active triangular method of building reconstruction. First, there was a measuring triangular system created. Then the way of its automatic calibration was proposed and consequently also performed. Also algorithms for the automatic detection of the sample projected were proposed. Algoriths were presented with several sample buildings. The result of these algorithms are 3D models of individual buildings. In the end achieved results nd restrictions of the system proposed were assessed.
X-ray Image detectors for using in microCT systems.
Digital filters for image processing
Všetička, Václav ; Říha, Kamil (referee) ; Číka, Petr (advisor)
This work is dedicated to methods for editing the digital image. When you need an suitable algorithm to highlight the desired information from the image, or conversely, suppress disturbing elements in the picture. This work describes a few most basic image editing filters to use common in technical and medical practice. The result of this work are implementing some filters into Java.
Identification of Persons in the Video from Quadcopter
Mojžiš, Tomáš ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Goldmann, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to make an application capable of recognizing people's faces based on a user-created database in drone footage. The database is made of pictures of people that should be identified in the footage. The output of this application is a video where the demanded people are labeled with their names. Some face detection and recognition state of the art solutions based on neural networks are compared in this work. The final solution consists of the MTCNN detector and a face embedding extractor based on ArcFace. The created multiplatform application allows to recognize people in drone footage even with face width of less than 20 pixels. The final solution was tested on a private dataset comprised of drone footage.
Barcode recognition system
Svoboda, Radovan ; Horák, Karel (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
This work deals with principle and technological process used to detect barcodes that are commonly used. It contains brief overview of barcodes according to type and structure. Also it takes a closer look on type DATAMATRIX and its analysis. It describes possible hardware and software approaches that can be used to detect barcodes, describes concrete concept of scanning barcode and software solution for its identification.
Workstation for optical interferometry
Blecha, Martin ; Honec, Peter (referee) ; Janáková, Ilona (advisor)
This thesis is specialized on composition of workplace for experiments flowing from optical interferometry. Here are described laboratory exercise servant for demonstration basic principles of interferometry. In more details is described method measurement of height profile objects with method white light interferometry.
Digital technology of record images
Svoboda, Filip ; Jeřábek, Tomáš (advisor) ; Leipert, Jiří (referee)
The topic of the bachelor's thesis "Digital technologies of image record" are digital technologies of the image record in a broader general view, describing principles of image capturing devices, describing functions and technical solutions of these devices. The basic aim of this thesis is to identify and to analyze functional and aplicational options of contemporary digital technologies for image record, especially in the context of their use by students and teachers - according to the achieved progress in image recordig and digital technologies succeeding the analog ones. Analysis of functional and aplicational possibilities of contemporary technologies is here set as a starting- point to indicate directions of technology development and progression in the near future. Mainly, aim of this thesis is to show and to describe every aspect of digital image record technology and by this to contribute to the information basis development of students and teachers dealing with these technologies. Content orientation of the thesis lies in history and development of both static a dynamic image record, respectively in history and development of the image record presentation, digital image record characteristics, image recording devices specifics and prediction of perspectives and directions of development of...
Software for DSLR control for use in microscopy
Mokrejš, Jakub ; Janoušek, Oto (referee) ; Čmiel, Vratislav (advisor)
This master's thesis initially deals with a review of cameras used in microscopy, describing their properties and the difference between microscopic and DSLR cameras. Furthermore, it describes the programs used by microscopic cameras for control via a computer. The thesis then defines the technologies used for software development and presents a design of the software's program equipment. The practical part of the thesis first describes the technologies used for software development along with a development diagram. The next section describes the functions that the software uses to communicate with the DSLR camera and introduces the software's graphical user interface. The conclusion of the practical part is devoted to testing the software itself, where it also presents various ways of its control. The test results are then evaluated in the discussion.
Quantitative computed tomography
Šalplachta, Jakub ; Keckes, Jozef (referee) ; Batenburg, Joost (referee) ; Kaiser, Jozef (advisor)
