Home Automation Based on Arduino/WeMos/RPi Platform
Bubeníček, Daniel ; Materna, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kapinus, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and implementation of home automation system based on Arduino, WeMos and Raspberry Pi platforms. Twelve modules for home automation were designed, which can be easily built on these platforms. The implemented prototype allows to control heating system and LED light, track temperature and humidity, detect newly connected Wi-Fi devices, human motion, door opening, create custom automation rules etc. The system uses pre-existing household equipment. The new hardware used in prototype cost only 1.600 CZK.
Design and Implementation of IoT for Monitoring and Control of Smart Homes
Smejkal, Jakub ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Janoušek, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis deals with a generic design and implementation of an IoT system, specifically for a smart home. The thesis aims to compare existing systems and hardware solutions. In this thesis there are a few examples of hardware firmwares and a prototype of a software for controlling and monitoring. The selected problem is resolved by designing a general system for a smart home. As a sample implementation, the system will be created by using hardware devices from Czech company HARDWARIO and sensors from various vendors. It will contain some environmental sensors, motion detectors, etc. The implemented prototype of an application allows easy monitoring of the whole home in one place thanks to an uncluttered UI, which is fully customizable for the user's needs.
Intelligent hatchery of poultry
Kejík, Jan ; Číka, Petr (referee) ; Kiac, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to design and build an intelligent hatchery for poultry. The first part deals with the description of poultry hatching processes. Furthermore, the bestselling hatcheries from different manufacturers are compared and the proposed hatchery management system is described. In other parts of the work there is described the practical construction of the hatchery as it was constructed. The mechanical part of the hatchery uses largely the components printed on a 3D printer, the electronic equipment uses the components of the Arduino platform. A significant part is the description of embedded software implemented in the object-oriented programming language C++. The resulting hatchery is equipped with an user-friendly interface with the ability of control by mobile applications. As the practical use of the hatchery requires continuous reliable operation for several weeks, the hatchery had been tested for several months. During this time, practical experience was gained to help with the solving of some problematic components and to debug the resulting software.
Touchless hand sanitizer dispenser
Rybníček, Patrik ; Hůlka, Tomáš (referee) ; Šoustek, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to create a smart touchless disinfection dispenser, which is able to distribute the disinfection but also control the whole device. The dispenser is equipped with a LaskaKit ESP-12 development board containing the Wi-Fi microchip ESP8266, which allows the user to check the status of the dispenser and control the unit through the cloud IoT platform Blynk. Checking the battery status, the disinfection status in the container or controlling the disinfection replenishment is thus possible through the application in the smartphone. The disinfection distribution itself is made possible by a peristaltic pump and is powered by 18650 large-capacity Li-ion batteries. The measurement of the hand distance, as well as the excitation of the unit, is then provided by two sensors – IR optical sensor FC-51 and PIR sensor HC-SR505.
Smart Home
Pitra, Ondřej ; Jašková, Jana (referee) ; Kazda, Tomáš (referee) ; Šedrlová, Magdalena (advisor)
Cílem této bakalářské práce je seznámit čtenáře a popsat mu základní principy, charakteristiky a použití mého vlastního projektu s názvem Chytrá domácnost. V této práci se budu zabývat dosavadním stavem mého projektu a dále popíši budoucí plány pro moji Chytrou domácnost. Taktéž představím a porovnám systémy chytrých domů od firem, které se touto technologií zabývají několik let.
Control Unit with (Espressif) ESP32 Module
Smička, Daniel ; Krejčí, Jan (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes concept, design and making of control unit with module Espressif ESP32. At first we apply to proposition of theoretical communication blocking scheme and blocking scheme of design. Afterwards we apply to designing of the scheme and choosing appropriate parts and making design of printed circuit board. In the end we are going to code function of the module and we will make end-user device.
Development of Application using the Arduino platfrom
LINHART, Tomáš
This bachelor thesis describes the design of an automatic door opening system for livestock (hens) and remote control using a mobile application. Document includes description of the control unit - Arduino development board, different ways of wiring components, possibilities of an automatic door opening system, a selection of appropriate components and design of construction of the automatic door opening system. In this work describes creation of the system including a functional model and mobile application development with demonstration of available functions for remote control of the automatic door opening system. The thesis contains an economic conclusion and a comparison with current market opportunities, including an overview of competing products and their market share.
