Use, assembly, operation and maintenance of the UNIMAT 1 Elementary kit

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to identify the appropriate use of the Unimat 1 Elementary kit in primary school. It also focuses in detail on the operation and maintenance of the kit and is intended to provide useful information for all those involved with the kit. The paper describes the construction of each type of kit, the assembly and disassembly procedure, safety recommendations and last but not least the maintenance of the kit. The second part of the thesis will be devoted to the description of the individual components of the kit and their functions. It will also focus on the practical aspects of the operation of the kit, recommendations for safe work with the kit and examples of its possible use in practice. This work should serve as a comprehensive guide for all those who encounter this product and help them to gain a comprehensive view of its operation and maintenance.

Apartment building Barandov - selected parts of the construction technology plan

This diploma thesis deals with the construction technological preparation of selected parts of the new Barrandov apartment building in Prague. The thesis includes a technical report on the construction technology project, a coordination situation of the construction with regard to transportation routes and a proposal for the supply of the construction, an object-based time and financial plan for the construction. It also includes a study of the realization of the main technological stages of the construction project, a project for the construction site equipment with drawings and a technical report, a proposal for main construction machinery and mechanisms with dimensioning, placement, transportation to the construction site, reach, time deployment and energy consumption, and occupational health and safety. It also includes a time schedule for the main construction project and a plan for securing material resources for rough construction. The technological procedures are focused on the realization of pilotage and contact insulation systems, as well as quality control and testing plans for these procedures. In addition, the thesis also deals with the balancing of workers and the assessment of the main lifting mechanism.

Construction technological project of a multi-storey parking house

The subject of this diploma thesis is the construction and technological preparation of a multi-storey parking House.The building is designed to provide storage space for cars in addition to the swimming pool and residential areas. Thesis contains engineering report, a detailed time schedule for the main building object, project of construction site, technological notes and inspection and test plans for particular steps of construction, proposal of suitable machines and mechanisms required for construction and wider relationships of transport routes to construction site. It also includes protection of health and safety at work taking into account environmental protection.

1 Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator Abstract This thesis is focused on the legal view of the health and safety coordinator on construction sites. This topic is a very specific area of occupational health and safety falling within the field of labour law. Its importance lies mainly in the high risks of working on a construction site due to the complexity of the construction works and the serious consequences that arise if health and safety is underestimated. The aim of this thesis is to comprehensively summarize the function of the OHS coordinator on a construction site, their activities and the activities of other persons involved in ensuring health and safety on construction sites. The thesis begins with an introduction and ends with a conclusion. The core of the thesis is divided into 7 chapters, where the first of them discusses the general legal regulation of occupational health and safety in the Czech Republic. The next chapter deals directly with the person of the coordinator, who can become OHS coordinator, which requirements a person must meet for this position and how the examination of professional competence for the activities of the OHS coordinator is conducted. The diploma thesis is focused on the creation of suitable educational aids (posters) for support and education in the field of technical education for pupils at the second stage of primary school. Posters should provide a basic insight into the issue of manual machining of technical materials, specifically the shape of wood and safety and health at work and handling of these materials. In the theoretical part, the basic description and definition one of the topic. In the practical part, three areas for the processing of educational posters are selected. One in the area of health and safety and the other two in the area of shape processing of wood.

Ergonomics, health and safety at work

This diploma thesis is occupied with issues of Ergonomics, Health and Safety in the workplace. The major aim of the thesis is to analyze and evaluate a state of Ergonomics and it's impact on the safety work in selected company. For research purposes of the thesis was selected a large company Firma XY, operating in the electrical industry. This topic is needed to pay a sufficient attention to in every company, especially with regard to industrial enterprises, where a lot of people are employed. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part is dedicated to safety and health protection during the work in general and it talks about basic terms, legal requirements and mainly about ergonomics.In practical part is the system of occupational health and safety (OHS) management and a method of identifying and evaluating risks are introduced. The analysis is based on a personal interview with manager OHS and on employee questionnaire results. The results of questionnaire survey are shown in the form of graphs. The outcome of this thesis is a proposal of measures that should lead to an improvement in the work on the workplace.

Lidský faktor a BOZP

Lidský faktor hraje zásadní roli pro zajištění bezpečnosti a ochrany zdraví při práci (BOZP), jelikož může mít značný potenciál pro vznik incidentů, jako jsou pracovní úrazy nebo havárie. Je snadné uvěřit, že incidenty vznikají v důsledku nedbalosti, nepozornosti, neschopnosti nebo bezohledného porušování pravidel ze strany člověka. Samotný incident však nemusí být pouhým selháním lidského faktoru, ale rovněž i selháním systému. Je tak zapotřebí nejenom porozumět lidskému faktoru, ale i systému, který jej obklopuje. Teprve až na základě tohoto porozumění by měly organizace provést hodnocení rizik, jehož součástí je i posouzení vlivu lidského faktoru na BOZP.
