Static solution of a reinforced concrete structure
Zedník, Tomáš ; Čairović, Dorde (referee) ; Zlámal, Martin (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of a mountain hotel with a roof structure made of a reinforced concrete shell. During designing three types of design were assessed. The aim was to find out which of the design solutions is the most suitable for the behaviour of a reinforced concrete structure. The Dlubal RFEM program was used to assess and calculate the internal forces in the structure. In this thesis I also deal with the design and assessment of individual elements of the selected design solution. The thesis also includes drawings of construction plans and drawings of reinforcement plans.
Reconstruction of the former industry building for flats
Kratochvílová, Martina ; Pěkník, Robin (referee) ; Klusáček, Ladislav (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis concerns with an analysis of existing ceiling concrete slab and design of locally supported monolithic reinforced concrete slab of fourth floor of Essler's textil factory in Brno and design of a typical column of the same floor. Design of ceiling concrete slab was accomplished in software SCIA Engineer, which uses finite element method and was verified by manual calculation using the method of cumulative moments. Column design was made by hand calculation. Design was made in accordance with applicable standards. The result is a reinforced slab and reinforced column.
Static solution of monolithic reinforced concrete structure
Kabrhelová, Eliška ; Laníková, Ivana (referee) ; Zlámal, Martin (advisor)
The work is focused on the design and assessment of ceiling slab multipurpose building. It is also considered the most stressed column under the slab. Model reinforced concrete structure is created in RFEM. Slab and column are assessed in accordance with ČSN EN 1992-1-1, punching shear ceiling slab are assessed in accordance with DIN 1045-1 and the company´s HALFEN HDB program.
Elementary School

The topic of this thesis is a new-building of a hotel with a wellness centre. The building site is located in the cadastral area of Malenovice near Zlín, the city of Zlín, Zlín Region. It is the building consisting of three rectangles inserted into each other. The building is designed as a six-floor skeletal construction with a cellar made of reinforced concrete, roofed with flat roofs. In the first floor there is a reception, a restaurant with outside seating, wellness centre, and utility rooms. The second and the third floor are intended for accommodation of guests in the form of double rooms and apartments. In the fourth and fifth floors there are double rooms as well. Rooms for guests and apartments are situated to the southern and northern part. This residential space is mostly equipped with balconies stretching along the corners. The master’s thesis deals with the static solution foundation structure of the Moravian-Silesian Scientific Library in Ostrava. The goal is to process the design for the commissioned construction of the library building in detail, numerically and graphically, on the foundation supporting structure of the underground floors. Subsequently, their static solution, dimensioning and assessment for limit states. The solved elements are the foundation slab in the second underground floor, the bearing capacity of the piles and the foundation block of the core A. The static analysis was performed in a combination of the student versions of SCIA Engineer 22.0 and the Midas program. The work also includes drawing documentation for the above-mentioned elements. Kraví hora - BUT Family silver
Peštálová, Lucie ; Dvořák, Miloš (referee) ; Nový, Alois (advisor)
The subject of the diploma thesis is to design a project study and a building program that would become a compromise between the requirements of the city of Brno and BUT in the area of Kraví hora in the Brno city center. The city of Brno would like to transform the area into a public park. But BUT considers it as its "family silver" because they realize its extraordinary value. Options of a constructions are really limited because of many area regulations. My proposal counts on the demolition of all existing buildings in the area, respects property area relations , protection zone, continuity with existing traffic roads, height regulation, imaginary raster of surrounding buildings, slope of terrain and orientation to the cardinal points. My suggest represents a study of five groups of objects which creating a rectangular raster. As a compromise solution, I chose the presentation and promotional areas of the individual faculties of BUT for the content of the buildings. Faculties have spaces for hobby groups for the public comprise all age groups included. I also designed the BUT Museum of History, a multimedia hall, a cafeteria, studios, a student leisure center and an observation tower with a climbing wall.
