The thesis EU foreign policy and position of European states towards Ukraine crisis deals with foreign policy of the EU in relation to Ukraine. It examines the development of their contractual relations and analyzes them. The work also includes a description of the development of the Ukrainian conflict. The main part of the work is the attitudes analysis of selected member states of the European Union towards the Ukranian crisis and Russia. Based on the research question, states are then divided into categories reflecting their attitude to Russia.

The Comparison of the economical situation of France and the Czech Republic based on macroeconomic indicators and their position within the Europe Union.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compare the economic situation of France and the Czech Republic. There were selected macroeconomic indicators which can help with this comparison. This comparison respects the development of these indicators during the time. The aim is to present the economic situation in France and in the Czech Republic with using the macroeconomic indicators. It is important to concentrate on the changes in the both countries over the time. After that, there will be presenting the facts which allow the creation of thic comparison. Because both the countries are the member countries of the Europe Union, the secondary objective is to show theirs different influences and activities in this complex.

Práce se zabývá velmi aktuálním tématem důchodové reformy, přičemž zohledňuje především evropské aspekty této problematiky. Ačkoliv je důchodová reforma především vnitřní záležitostí členských států, vzhledem k tomu, že ovlivňuje i jiné oblasti, než jen oblast penzijního zabezpečení, např. fiskální, či politiku zaměstnanosti, je předmětem pozornosti EU. Cílem studie je zhodnocení přístupu EU k problematice důchodových reforem, a to především z hlediska právního.

The thesis brings and systematizes the knowledge of European diplomacy and analyzes its influence on the functioning of bilateral relations of the EU Member States. It is based on the historical development of the external representation of the EU including the latest changes under the Treaty of Lisbon and the work of the European External Action Service led by the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy. Particular attention is given to the EU delegations as well as the filling of various positions within the diplomatic corps of the European Union. The issue of the need for and the effectiveness of national embassies and maintenance of bilateral relations by diplomatic means is dealt with separately.

Comparative analysis of the taxation of royalties folowing between the Czech Republic and other member states of EU

This thesis deals with the question of how far the Member States of EU have unified the system of taxation of royalties with respect to the Czech Republic. This issue is analyzed on the basis of comparison of Conventions between Czech Republic and other member states of EU. As key comparators were used the following approaches: grammatical interpretation of conventions, the definition of royalties and the range of taxation in the state of source. In order to examine the issue of taxation of royalties, attention is also given to the definition of royalties from the Czech legislation as well as from OECD (based on the Commentary to the Model Treaty) point of view. The thesis outlines also practical approaches to taxation of royalties in various model situations.
