Ekonometrické modelování pracovní migrace v rámci České republiky

Presented diploma thesis examines the issue of labor migration in the Czech Republic. The first part focuses on the theoretical background and basic concepts related to the labor migration. Above all there are described individual models used to explain the working migration in different countries. The next part focuses on the actual development of the labor migration in the Czech Republic. First, there is described the development of labor migration in the Czech Republic between years 2000 and 2011. Subsequently, on the basis of statistical data, is described a model of labor migration in the Czech Republic. The conclusion summarizes the impact of immigration on the Czech economy and on the labor market.

Vývoj nezaměstnanosti ve vybraných okresech Moravskoslezského kraje

The main object of my bachelor theses is analysis of unemployment in the Moravian-Silesian region in years 2002-2013 in the three selected districts. The first part deals with the types of unemployment and integrates these types in the context of government policy. The following unit deals with the characteristics of basic unemployment rates, statistical concepts and explanation of the methodology that I used in the practical part. Then I briefly characterized the Moravian-Silesian region, township Karvina, Opava and Ostrava city. With selected statistical methods I examined development of unemployment rates and focused also on forecast of future development.

Brno: Mendel University in Brno, Faculty of Regional Development and International Studies, 2014. The subject of the diploma thesis is to compare the evolution of unemployment in administrative districts of municipalities with extended powers Židlochovice and Hodonín. The work is divided into two main parts and as the processing method is used the statistical analysis. The first part contains theoretical issues related to unemployment. There are defined basic concepts, such as the labor market, supply and demand for labor, unemployment itself, its division, measurement and implications. Crucial practical part is focused on comparing the evolution of unemployment by age, educational attainment and the period of registration of candidates at the employment office. In conclusion, using the method appropriate adjustment of time series trend function is predicted unemployment rate in the coming years.

Demograficko-socioekonomická analýza kraje Vysočina

This final work is dedicated to analysis of the demographic-socioeconomic indicators in the Region Vysocina in the period of time 2001 till 2013. The analysis focuses on the structure and dynamics of the population and the labor market situation. There are evaluated factors associated with number of people, its development (birth rate, mortality, migration) and movement (inward and outward commuting to work and schools) and population structure by age. The thesis also focuses on economic structure of population and indicators characterizing the labor market, such as the rate of registered and long-term unemployment and the ratio of supply and demand in the labor market. Appropriate feature of the trend for prediction of the future development until 2020 is used at selected characteristics. From the collected data it is evaluated the socioeconomic condition of Region Vysocina and conclusions serving as recommendations for improving of the situation on the given area.

This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of development of costs of the library fund and development of number of registered readers in a selected library from 1999 to 2014. Possible influence between observed variables is verified. The theoretical part describes sources of financing in libraries. Another section explains methods of time series and regression analysis. The practical part of the thesis evaluates the development of time series and it also determines the predictions for 2015. Possible influence between the number of readers and the costs of the library fund is investigated at the end of the practical chapter.

Vývoj cen na českém organizovaném trhu s elektrickou energií

This bachelor thesis deals with electricity prices progress on the organization market in the Czech Republic, speciffically daily spot prices. The theoretical part describes Czech electricity market and the theory of time series. There is monitored the progress of daily spot prices of electricity in the practical part. Finally, I construct the prediction on the next month in my thesis. Suppliers of electricity can use the prediction when they make a decision about buing the electric power.

Mathematical modelling of crown rate

This thesis is focused on mathematical modelling of exchange rate CZK/USD in 1991 - 2014. Time series was divided into 5 parts. First Box-Jenkins methodology models were examined, especially ARIMA model. Unfortunately, the model could not be used because none of the time series showed correlation. The time series is considered as a white noise. The data appear to be completely random and unpredictable. The time series have not constant variance neither normal distribution and therefore GARCH volatility model was used as the second model. It is better not to divide time series when using model of volatility. Volatility model contributes to more accurate prediction than the standard deviation. Results were calculated in RStudio software and MS Excel.

This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of development of leasing in Czech Republic. Theoretical part explains the issue of leasing and describes Czech Leasing & Finance Association. Another section describes the methodology regarding the time series. It is subsequently used in the practical part, which deals with the analysing the development of leasing of movables since 2000. Own work also presents time series of financial and operational leasing. There is also calculated the prediction of future development in 2014.

Vliv úrokové sazby na objem poskytnutých hypotečních úvěrů

This thesis deals with the influence of interest rates on the volume of new mort-gage loans in the Czech Republic. Regression and correlation analysis was used to determine the measure of dependence. For comparative purposes, the regression analysis was performed on the data of the Slovak Republic. In the second part of the thesis the series of newly granted time mortgage loans were examined, both in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic. For both states a prediction of the volume of new mortgage loans for the next eight quarters will be created. The result of this work compared the development of the mortgage market in the Czech and Slovak Republic.

Vliv rostoucího trendu počtu studentů vysokých škol na trh práce v ČR a SR

Kavoň, F. Impact of the increasing trend in the number of university students on the labour market in Czech republic and Slovak republic. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2013. A theoretical part of the thesis contains definitions of frequently used terms such as education, demography and labour market. The theoretical section also includes the procedure containing explanation of basic econometric terms and relations, thus helping to process the practical part of the thesis. First chapter of above mentioned practical part of the thesis contains regress analysis describing the dependency between observed data. Second, core chapter of the practical part contains the development of time series of individual observed parameters. There is also prediction allowing results derivation of performed analysis. Thesis conclusion and discussion contains a comparison of analysis results with proposals of individual ministries of education regarding functioning and further development of secondary-school and academic education. It contains also proposals and recommendations for achieving an optimal development of educational system on secondary and tertiary level.
