Receivables Management in Corporation
Zemanová, Lucie ; Konečný, Jaroslav (referee) ; Fedorová, Anna (advisor)
The contents of my thesis is the issue of management of trade receivables in the capital company. The theoretical part focuses mainly on the definition of basic, but necessary concepts for the understanding of the issue. Subsequent practical part analyzes the status of claims in a particular organization. Custom forms part presents comprehensive proposals and recommendations on claims management system, including preventive measures against the occurrence of problem debts, their effective management and administration as well as possible ways of.
CFD simulation of centrifugal pump working as a turbine (PaT) - influence of impeller side wall gaps on simulation results
Tomšej, Radek ; Zemanová, Lucie (referee) ; Štefan, David (advisor)
This master‘s thesis deals with a centrifugal pump running in reverse (turbine) mode, often called “pump-as-turbine”. The introduction lists basic principles and information about the direct (pump) and reverse modes. Several methodologies for predicting reverse operating point and efficiency evolution are used and compared with simulation results. Using CFD simulations, results obtained with simplified (excluding impeller side wall gaps) and complete geometry (including impeller side wall gaps) are assessed. Furthermore, the results of impeller trimming are evaluated with an aim to find the maximum power and efficiency. Impeller side wall gaps effect is analyzed in terms of friction torque and power loss.
Identification of fatigue damage Al alloy treated with SLM technology using acoustic emission method
Zemanová, Lucie ; Mazůrek, Ivan (referee) ; Mazal, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to study fatigue properties of EN AW-2618A aluminium alloy produced by selective laser melting (SLM). S-N diagrams of reference alloy and SLM material depending on manufacturing conditions were constructed. Reference alloy had the same chemical composition as the SLM material, but it was made by traditional technology (by extruding). While testing, acoustic emission (AE) and resonant frequency of loading was monitored. Fractographic analyses of fracture surfaces were performed. It was found, that SLM material has significantly worse fatigue performance. Fatigue properties are strongly dependent on SLM process parameters settings and precise observance of procedure. The most significant differences in cyclic degradation were found in the length of the stages of fatigue. The more homogeneous the material is, the longer the nucleation stage compared to the total lifetime is. The main source of AE in case of the reference material is plastic deformation on the tip of the crack. For SLM testing, stronger acoustic activity was recorded, because brittle fracture of the material between discontinuities, which is stronger AE source, is more frequent.
Study of unsteady phenomena in pump as turbine
Hliboký, Samuel ; Zemanová, Lucie (referee) ; Štefan, David (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with centrifugal pump running as a turbine. Basic working principles of a pump are included, both in pump and turbine regime. Experimental data obtained from laboratory test bed are compared with CFD simulation on slightly simplified geometry. Obtained results are then processed using spectrogram. Influence of time step and mesh size on results is also researched.
Aerodynamic properties of different front wing specifications on formula race car
Šulík, Daniel ; Zemanová, Lucie (referee) ; Štefan, David (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the aerodynamic properties of front wings on Formula 1 cars. The first chapter discusses the basic aerodynamic principles of fluids and gases. The second chapter discusses the historical evolution of front wings in Formula 1. Third chapter talks about the latest aerodynamic regulations and their benefits for the sport. In the last chapter there is a practical part with an air flow simulation on four different wings and their aerodynamic properties are compared.
Business Plan
Zemanová, Lucie ; Ing., Bc.Vanda Casková (referee) ; Hanušová, Helena (advisor)
Subject of bachelor´sthesis is focus on processing bussiness plan to organize suburban swimm camp for children, which is every year organised by an organize swimm Kometa in Brno. This thesis contains all necessary information and analysis, which are essential of creation a specific offer and determination suitable marketing stratégy.
Development of processing strategy for manufacturing of tubes using metal additive manufacturing
Zemek, Albert ; Zemanová, Lucie (referee) ; Koutný, Daniel (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis is focused on finding a suitable process parameters for building an overhanging parts without need of any support structure in Selective Laser Melting process. The main focus is on fabrication of circular parts, which are often used in the industry. In this paper, there were designed test specimens for different process parameters. Also a novel function for nonconstant process parameters was probed. After the fabrication, the specimens were tested in order to evaluate their dimension accuracy.
Bussiness Plan
Zemanová, Lucie ; Pernica, Martin (referee) ; Hanušová, Helena (advisor)
The subject of this diploma thesis is the compilation of the business plan for the extension of the services of the Toy Shop * Stationery. This work consists of three main parts. The theoretical part contains definitions of terms forming the structure of the business plan and the definition of necessary analyzes. In the analytical part is analyzed the current state of the company. In the last proposed section is created a concrete business plan, which is aimed at the development of the company.
Hydrokinetic turbines
Zrebný, Radim ; Zemanová, Lucie (referee) ; Rudolf, Pavel (advisor)
Bachelor thesis concerns about problematics of hydrokinetic turbines. First part briefly describes potential areas of utilization. Second chapter includes research of available technical solutions, its operation principles and characteristics, while the main distribution is according to the position of the axis of rotation. Following part describes basic principles of the flow theory and achievable limits of energy conversion. Last part deals with design of hydrokinetic turbine used in paper production. The design has been estimated via Blade Element Theory.
Thermal analysis of plastic part using finite element method
Zemanová, Lucie ; Nečas, David (referee) ; Zatočilová, Aneta (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the thermal deformation of a plastic component after thermal loading and ways of processing digital data for a thermal analysis. There is optical digitizing outlined, since input data were obtained this way, and methods of subsequent processing for the thermal analysis. The analysis is carried out by the finite element method using ANSYS Workbench software. The finite element method is described. The work builds on measuring performed by photogrammetry, the aim is to compare applicability finite element method and photogrammetry for measuring deformation.
