Design of reciprocal module fixture for wear and friction measurements in tribometer
Zeman, Petr ; Šperka, Petr (referee) ; Dočkal, Kryštof (advisor)
The thesis deals with design of a clamping fixture for fastening surface samples for the reciprocating drive of the tribometer. The fixture is designed to compensate for shape deviations of the samples by tilting in two axes in a small range. The objective has been fulfilled, the tilting mechanism is achieved by rotating the spherical surface. The fixture is sufficiently rigid. It has been achieved of better user experience and repeatability of clamping. The paper contains an overview of commercially available clamping methods, their evaluation and description of the construction of the newly designed device, which simplifies the clamping of uniquely shaped samples for the reciprocating drive of the UMT TriboLab tribometer.
Design of an optimized multicopter propeller

Criminological Aspects of Drug-Related Crime ABSTRACT The thesis deals with the topic of criminological aspects of drug-related crime. Considering the breadth of the issue, it focuses only on the so-called primary drug-related crime, i.e. criminal activity consisting of violation of laws and regulations on the handling of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. The aim of the thesis is particularly to describe the situation and development of the primary drug-related crime in the territory of the Czech Republic and to summarize possible development trends in the following years, as well as to map the development of national and international legislation and assess its possible effects on the drug problem. Finally, based on empirical research, the thesis aims to characterize drug-related crime committed on the territory of the capital city of Prague for which the perpetrators were finally convicted in 2017. The first chapter of the thesis defines the terms relevant to the topic, especially with respect to applicable legislation. The second chapter outlines the development of the issues of drug abuse and distribution in the territory of the Czech Republic and the corresponding evolution of legislation, while the third chapter is dedicated to the current, particularly criminal legislation on the handling...
Criminological aspects of drug criminality
Pášová, Helena ; Zeman, Petr (advisor) ; Bohuslav, Lukáš (referee)
Criminological aspects of drug criminality Drug criminality is a big problem of current time and it concerns all of us regardless of sex, age or social status. The topic of drug criminality is very wide though. This diploma thesis focuses in more detail on the current and very dangerous phenomenon of drugs in transport. The main target of the thesis is to provide a comprehensive summary about the psychoactive drugs which are used by the drivers most frequently, to analyse in detail their properties and effects and to describe, which influence the particular types of psychoactive drugs have on the physical and mental state of driver and which changes in his behaviour these drugs cause. The thesis is divided into introduction, four main chapters and conclusion. The first chapter is focused on the explanation of some basic terms which are used in the thesis. The second chapter summarizes the historical development in using of psychoactive drugs in the world and in the area of our country. The Czech state experienced in the past a few fundamental turns, after that the situation in the society changed. With regard to these periods the passage about the history of using of psychoactive drugs in the area of our country is divided into three parts. In the third chapter are analysed in detail the particular...
The methodology of using digital tachograph data for forensic engineering purposes
Zeman, Petr ; Kledus, Robert (referee) ; Drahotský, Ivo (referee) ; Doupal, Emil (referee) ; Libertín, Josef (advisor)
Control authorities and experts in their practice come across digital tachographs. Digital data is an important source of relevant input data and informations needed for in depth road accident analysis. In practice, it is possible to encounter an existing negative phenomenon, an unauthorised access to and fraudulent manipulation of the tachograph´s data. False data has a major impact on the results of the accident investigation and analysis. Control authorities and experts should be prepared for such cases. This thesis describes the different types of manipulation of Digital Tachograph records and the ways of their detection. Tachograph manipulation is a nowaday issue. It is very important to deal with this problem. For the reasons mentioned above I have set up a Data Control Procedure Standard for control authorities and experts and drafted technical requirements for future generation of tachographs.
Criminological Aspects of the Drug-related Crime
Kuľhová, Lívia ; Zeman, Petr (advisor) ; Hořák, Jaromír (referee)
The subject of this thesis is the issue of criminological aspects of drug-related crime. This topic is considerably wide, therefore this thesis focuses on two specific aspects of this particular crime: the relationship between drug use and crime and the criminal careers of drug-addicted offenders. Since these two aspects are still being overlooked in the Czech Republic, the aim of this thesis is to introduce this issue using foreign literature and to complement it with my own research carried out within the Capital City of Prague. The first part of the thesis (Chapters 1 and 2) represents an introduction into the issue of drug-related crime. First, it explains basic notions that are essential to know for easy orientation within the thesis. Then, it discusses the history of drug abuse in the Czech Republic from 1918 until nowadays, and also complements current situation with an actual drug policy strategy. The second part of this thesis (Chapters 3 and 4) focuses on acquainting with the issue of the relationship between drug use and crime and the criminal careers. Using mostly foreign literature, it looks at these specific problems from two different perspectives: describing both the most famous theories and models and the most recent or well-known empirical researches. The last part of the thesis...
Single-Bundle versus Double-Bundle Technique of the Anatomical Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction
Zeman, Petr ; Koudela, Karel (advisor) ; Skála-Rosenbaum, Jiří (referee) ; Kalina, Radim (referee)
Purpose of the study: The aim of the study is to present a comparison of two years result of double-bundle versus single-bundle anatomical reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament using hamstring tendons and their fixation with bioabsorbable interference screws. Material and methods: A total of 110 patients with an isolated anterior cruciate ligament rupture and the healthy contralateral knee who met the indication criteria for double- bundle anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction were intra-operatively allocated at random to either double-bundle group (DB, n=55) or single-bundle group (SB, n=55). At two years after surgery, 82 patients (DB group, n=43; SB group, n=39), comprising 66 men and 16 women, were evaluated; the average age was 29 years and the injury-to- surgery interval was 81 days. Pre-operative and post-operative subjective criteria involved the subjective IKDC and Lysholm score were evaluated. Objectively, the occurrence of graft failure, range of motion deficit, return to pre-injury sports activity, side-to-side difference in anterior laxity of both knees in 20ř flexion on a GNRB laximeter at an applied pressure of 124 N and 250 N, and pivot shift phenomenon were assessed. Results: No statistically significant difference was found in pre-operative values between the two...

Analysis of multicopter design concepts
Zeman, Petr ; Koštial, Rostislav (referee) ; Dvořák, Petr (advisor)
The main objective of this thesis is to design multicopter with very high flight endurance compared with commonly achieved performances. The beginning is devoted to description of the commonly used terms and components on multicopters with MTOW up to 20kg. This part is followed by detecting dependencies of parameters between themselves from parametric analysis commercially available platforms. Subsequently are investigated factors affecting the efficiency of the propulsion unit like motor location on the arm and the voltage of the battery. Next is done comparison in terms of efficiency of configuration with one motor per arm and two motors in coaxial arrangement. In research the coaxial configuration one part is dedicated to the determination of the efficiency at different speeds of two motors and different directions of propeller rotation relative to each other. Subsequently is determined reference characteristic for efficiency of propulsion units with different weights. Especially in connection with the next part is here shown comparison of Li-Ion and Li-Po battery. The last part is about design multicopter based on previous findings.
