Simulation of resitance curves using Gurson plasticity model
Korouš, Jan ; Zemánková, Jaroslava
The concept of J-R curves is well established in structure assessment. However, the shape of J-R curves is influenced by constraint effectssignificantly. Such phenomena can be modelled using micromechanicalmodels of plasticity. The paper presents simulation of J-R curves usingthe complete Gurson model of plasticity, which was implemented into thefinite element system WARP3D.
Non destructive observation of damage processes by X-Ray dynamic defectoscopy
Vavřík, Daniel ; Jakůbek, J. ; Pospíšil, S. ; Visschers, J. ; Zemánková, Jaroslava
The subject of this work is experimental observation of the development of internal damage and its evolution in aluminium alloy flat specimens with different configurations of the pre crack. We propose direct and non-destructive observation of the material damage evolution by measuring changes in transmission of X-rays penetrating a stressed material, using a single photon counting X-ray imager, called Medipix 1.
Optical Determination of Constitutive Equations Parametersof Nonlinear Materials
Vavřík, Daniel ; Korouš, Jan ; Zemánková, Jaroslava ; Jaroš, P.
The paper presents simple optical experimental method fordetermination of constitutive equations parameters ofnonlinear materials. Usually only one extensometer orstrain gauge is used for the determination of strain inloading direction and one for the determination of acontraction in standard tensile test.
Micromechanical models of ductile fracture
Zemánková, Jaroslava ; Korouš, Jan
Problems of instability in ductile materials are discussed. The own thermodynamical criterion is mentioned. As thiscriterion needs energy dissipation rate calculation, the proper constitutive relations are seeking for.
Thermodynamical Framework of Nonlinear Fracture Mechanics
Zemánková, Jaroslava
Fracture theory based on thermodynamical laws, namely on the principle of the maximal dissipated energy rate is described. Application of this approach and comparison its results with classical FM criteria for prediction of critical loading is presented in framework of experiment on aluminium alloy specimens.
Constraint Effects on the Fracture Toughness-Questions andProblems
Zemánková, Jaroslava
Different quantification as well as physical interpretation of the constraint effect and its influence in connection with expected trends of the fracture toughness measured values is discussed. The fact that some experimental results show opposite trends is seeing as the consequence of the physical fracture law absence.
