Redesign configuration management of process in a chosen Organization

The goal of this thesis is to analyze Configuration management process in a chosen organization through ITIL Best Practices Library and provide a redesign based on collected materials. Analyzes cover Configuration management and partially Change management processes whose are tightly connected with each other. In theoretical part I focus on general description of analyzed process, its modeling and modeling tools. Next chapters follow up with ITIL Best Practices Library version 3 and CMS (Configuration Management System) usability as a federated system for Configuration management process. In practical part I focus on current state of Configuration management process in analyzed organization and provide advantages and disadvantages. Those are input for redesign of Configuration management process. In the end of my thesis I compare the original and current redesigned solution and provide a set of advantages and disadvantages coming from this change.
Production optimization using advanced decision making methods

The proces management and its application using advanced decision making methods will be discussed in this paper. Specifically, the optimization of production will be solved with genetic algorithms and linear programming methods. The goal of this paper is to find out a accepable suboptimal solution scheduling problem in the manufacturing organization so, that the makespan time will be minimal. The author of this paper will implement the solution algorithm in manufactuting organization XY operating in mechanical environment.
Current Situation on Customer Relationship Management Systems market: Analysis and Potential of CRM Systems for tradesmen in the Czech Republic

This diploma thesis deals with the problematics of Customer Relationship Management systems in the context of their usage by tradesmen. It is divided into two main parts, the first of which aims to introduce readers into the problematics of CRM and SCRM systems and their benefits for tradesmen, describe the evolution of these systems with the arrival of the Web 2.0 interface and the environment where teese systems can operate. In the second part I analyzed the results of the questionnaire for tradesmen, which was aimed at mapping their opinion on these products, their willingness to invest in them and finding out about the benefits of individual functions of CRM systems. Following the results of the questionnaire, I defined a suitable solution for tradesmen and applied to the pre-selection for the most suitable products in this segment. Thanks to the preferences of the respondents and the evaluation of the required functionalities, the most suitable solution was found for representing the tradesmen in the Czech Republic.
Streamlining of manufacturing process in the selected organization

This thesis is about optimalization of serial production in company RWA systémy spol. s.r.o. The aim of the thesis is based on finding the main cause of the problem with inefficient speed of production process. The problem was detected after investment in a new building and new machines. The produciton process was mapped and analyzed and the results are optimized by corective actions. The final reccomandation is represented by a new layout of the production halls. The income of the thesis is independent and external observer´s view.
Mapping processes in a selected organization

The main topic of this diploma thesis is process management and Business Process reengineering (BPR) and applied research of this concept in a particular company. In the theoretical part at first I define the concept of process and process management, which I then develop with BPR. In addition, the basic methodologies, including metadata of modeling a business process analysis (MMABP) are defined and described. I also present the modeling language Unifield Modeling Language (UML), Eriksson-Penker notation and the Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN). On the basis of this theoretical part, I implement applied research in a specific research area.

The diploma thesis deals with Business Process Management and changes of business environment which have occurred mainly in last century and caused a formation of new approaches in company management. Further it defines a concept of process, process kinds and operation of process leaded organization including advantages and disadvantages. The thesis also includes Business Process Modelling problematic which has relations to Business Process Management. There are also identified techniques and specific diagrams possible and suitable to use in modelling area. This knowledge is applied in Draft of the Model of Auction Process of Buying Commodities.
Implementation of lean management techniques in selected company

The bachelor thesis deals with philosophy of lean management, its methods and tools used in implementation in a company. The theoretical part includes the history of lean management and personalities involved in the development of this technique. It also presents the Toyota Production System and other techniques adopted by companies to prevent waste and increase productivity. These are mainly kaizen and 5S. The knowledge of the techniques described in the theoretical part is used in the elaboration of the practical part of the bachelor thesis. In the chosen company I analyse the current status of the workplace and then implement lean management methods to increase the efficiency of the production process and overall company productivity.
Optimize inventory warehouse in selected company

The main goal of the bachelor thesis is to calculate the optimal amount of sheet metal to order for inventory in the company ROHDE & SCHWARZ závod Vimperk, s.r.o. in 3VM Metal department. The operational goal is to determine inventory items, the purchase of which causes the largest financial burden. At the same time, these items will serve as the basis for achieving the main goal thanks to ABC analysis. The work is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part describes in detail the basic concepts of inventory management, inventory classification and the costs arising from purchasing and storage. Furthermore, it describes modern approaches and models used in inventory management. The theoretical background is applied to analysing the current status of warehouse stocks of sheet metal and calculating the optimum amount of storage items, which by virtue of the analysis comprise the greatest cost for the company. The outcome of final thesis is the optimal order quantity of sheet metal which serves the 3VM department at ROHDE & SCHWARZ závod Vimperk, s.r.o. firm, as the basis for reducing the cost of sheet metal.
The use of decision trees in managerial practice

The aim of this thesis is to present the characteristics of decision trees and their use in practice and to describe the solution of decision trees with the use of PrecisionTree software. The work is divided into theoretical and practical parts. In the theoretical part the basic information about decision trees and their software support is described. In the practical part the use of decision trees for managerial decision-making with help of software support is shown on example.
Decision-Making Processes in a chosen Company

The bachelor thesis deals with the decision-making process in the particular company. In the theoretical part the principle of decision-making, decision-making processes and problems and the structure of the decision-making process are described. In this work a specific decision-making process is presented namely, the choice of the supplier. In the practical part the process of selecting a suitable supplier for the purposes of the company, whose subject of business is the purchase of goods for resale, is analyzed. Result of this work is the comparison of the information obtained from the company with theoretical knowledge about the process of supplier selection.
