World coffe trade

This bachelor thesis is focused on trade with coffee, on a Fair Trade concept and on production and manufacturing of coffee. Aim of this work is to describe flows of coffee in international trade, to describe the Fair Trade concept and its usage, plus to describe, how coffee is produced and processed. First chapter focuses on description of growing and manufacturing coffee and its history. Second chapter emphasises on production, pricing and trade of coffee. In last chapter, there is the Fair Trade described, its role, influence and criticism as well. Following methods were used in the thesis: synthesis, comparative method territorial analysis and deduction.
Czech-Korean cultural relations and trade

My thesis called Czech-Korean cultural relations and trade focuses on understanding the korean culture and mentality and how it reflects on business meetings. It also includes basic infornatiom about trade between the Czech Republic and the Republic of Korea. It is structured to give the audience an overview of South Korea. Used methodes are: comparison of own experience with available literature, questionnaire and a survey about korean knowledge of the Czech Republic and some certain products. Through these methods I come to a conclusion that even though Koreans think of the Czech Republic as a racist country, it is still a very lucrative business destination. I managed to confirm the popularity of czech beer in Korea or short stories called Krteček and Pat and Mat. At the end of my thesis I write about my own working experience for korean employers and share some useful advice.
Analysis of Volkswagen´s marketing strategy in Slovakia

The bachelor thesis is focused on the marketing strategy of automotive company and brand, Volkswagen, in Slovakia. The brand represents quality German cars. The aim of my thesis was to analyse the current and future strategy in order to propose some improvements for the Volkswagen brand on the Slovak market. The theoretical part deals with the explanation of marketing, including segmentation, targeting, positioning and marketing mix. This is preceded by macro and micro environmental analysis which is completed by SWOT analysis. The practical part is dedicated to Volkswagen's application to theory. These two parts are linked,a company´s example follows a theoretical explanation. Part of analysis is formed by a survey that was created to identify Volkswagen's brand awareness and perception on the Slovak market. On the basis of overall and survey analysis, the last chapter deals with proposals for improving the marketing strategy,communication and also for completing a product scale.
The investment climate of India as a member of BRICS

This bachelor thesis deals with the investment climate of India and the association of BRICS, to which India is a member. Its main goal is to evaluate the investment climate of India and identify its most attractive areas. Within this goal, the first chapter outlines the creation and macroeconomic development of BRICS as well as the cooperation between its members. The second and most important chapter deals with India itself. It contains the characteristics of the country including its economy, it focuses on the development and main reforms of the investment climate, on the inflow of foreign direct investment and also on the issues of entering the market which implies to the barriers of entry and investment incentives. The third chapter consists of SWOT analysis of indian investment climate comprising its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
Possibilities of foreign internships for university students in Czech Republic

The bachelor's thesis is focused on possibilities of foreign internships for university students in Czech Republic. The first part of the thesis concerns internships of Faculty of International Relations at University of economics. The second part makes analysis of foreign internships arranged by student's multicultural organization AIESEC. The third part of the thesis describes foreign internships arranged by another student's multicultural organization IAESTE, which is intended more for technical students. The aim of the thesis is to analyse all of the possibilities of foreign internships. Furthermore, to determine their main benefits for students.
Development of a marketing strategy of the company Philip Morris International according to the regulation

This bachelor´s thesis will provide an insight into the marketing strategy of the company Philip Morris International, which manufactures and sells the tobacco products. The aim of this work is to analyze the current marketing strategy, which is under European regulation of tobacco products, using the marketing mix, communication mix, and SWOT analysis. The work determines the impact of the legislative changes on the market of the tobacco products, according to which there is a new marketing strategy proposed.
The Evolution of Economic Relations between France and Colonies of The Second French Colonial Empire

This study concentrates on the evolution of economic relations between France and its former colonies. While respecting the chronological order of events, it describes the history of French colonisation from its beginning until now. It seeks common aspects and contrasts in the events in respective colonies or groups of colonies. The aim is to approve the thesis that colonial past has direct influence on today's economic partnerships with France and that these partnerships differentiate depending on the intensity and continuity of business relations during the colonial era. In order to analyse the difference between French-Vietnamese and French-African economic relations, I will use the gravity model of trade.
Economic situation of Catalonia, its position in the European Union and cooperation with the Czech Republic

The thesis focuses on the evaluation of the economic situation of the Spanish Autonomous Community of Catalonia, its position in the Kingdom of Spain and the European Union and cooperation with residents of the Czech Republic. In addition to the summary of past development, this thesis also aims to analyse the potential and attractiveness of the area and to propound possibilities of future development in relation to the Czech Republic. Firstly, the bachelor's thesis presents the most important information about Catalonia, including historical development and demographic and political characterization. The following section deals with the analysis of the economic situation of the region and the description of factors which may influence investment decisions. The overall attractiveness of the area is summarized by SWOT analysis. The thesis additionally focuses on the trade and political cooperation of Catalonia within the EU and on received structural funds. Lastly, the significance of the Autonomous Community as a partner of the Czech Republic in terms of trade and investment is evaluated.

The bachelor thesis is devoted to a topic of German direct investment and their impact on Czech-German cooperation. The thesis classifies foreign direct investment, investment incentives, location factors and their effects on domestic enterprises and host country. The thesis further deals with the inward flow of German investment and examines the role of German direct investment in the Czech Republic. Finally, based on personal consultations and questionnaire, the thesis evaluates the impact of Ger-man direct investment on the Czech market.
The role of EGAP and other selected ECAs in export guarantee and insurance schemes

This thesis focuses on the role of EGAP and other selected ECAs in export guarantee and insurance schemes in the world. The objective of the thesis is to define the role of EGAP in comparison to other selected ECAs regarding the adjustment of premium rates level. The other goal is aimed at the result of the comparative analysis, which consists of recommendation to the Czech ECA of how to have the effective premium rates set. In the view of the fact, that including all insurance products would be impossible to carry out the analysis, only one product regarding the type D Insurance of an Export Buyer Credit against the risk of non-payment was selected and applied to the analysis.
