Dramatic method of Jiří Kylián´s work

This bachelor thesis discusses five performances created by Jiří Kylián (L?enfant Et Les Sortileges, The Soldier?s Tale, Kaguyahime, Tantz-Schul, One of a Kind).
First chapter contents short information about choreographer?s life.
Each choreography is analyzed in the following chapters. Every chapter contents information about the date and place of premiere, the author of music, libretto, stage design, costume and light design.
The main interest targets the dramatic line of the performance. Especially if some crucial moments are visible, how many dancers are there in the performance, creation and usage of stage and stage properties. Choreographic creation is also described.
I compared these titles with focusin on the evolutin of choreographers work with elements described thereinbefore.

POLISH DANCE STAGE IN 1990´

This thesis deals with Polish dance scene?s situation after 1989. It?s dedicated mainly to three artistic canters: Greater Theatre in Warsaw ? National Opera which is most likely concentrated on classic technique, Polish Dance Theatre ? Ballet Poznanski, which in turn is a contemporary group and Studio Buffo where musical and dance exhibitions are presented.
The mentioned period was chosen because that?s the moment right after the fall of communism and when times were changing significantly. Yet another reason is lack of written information about those times

Introduction to Stage Light Design

This bachelor thesis explores the basic principles of stage lighting design.
This thesis goes over key terms, commonly used types of lamps and finally touches on light control. One ilustrated chapter describes and compares varied lighting angles. Another chapter clarifies the colour theory and principles of filtering colour. We conclude by discussing light design in dance performances. The supplement includes photographs taken specifically for this thesis.
