In the beginning we will find out what the pixel and his characters means in the digital mathematical world. Further we will overview the picture sources and the equipment using the pixel scanners. We will compare the principle of the tracking technology with the other technologies. What can we do with the pixel thanks to the mathematics operations? We will compare different types of the mathematical algorithms and we will describe the technology of the tracking in the picture and its conditions.
The Matters Of Motion Control Use in Digital Cinematography

This Master´s Thesis deals with the principle of the work and wide range of use of the Motion Control rigs use. It familiarizes readers with the types of rigs and their technical aspects which might affect any shooting. In this work I try to explain my all gathered experiences from my six months working internship in London at the world leading motion control company Mark Roberts Motion Control Ltd. This company (althought it is not the only one motion control rig company in the world) has given me the wide view due to its complex production starting with the motion control rigs and ending with its software. Thanks to being on quite a lot of filming sets where these righ were used I try to explain and recapitulate all my practical experiences from this specialized and technical challengingly part of cinematography which is not quite usual.

The goal of the thesis is to give reader a detailed overview of four Alfred Hitchcock's movies - The Lodger (1927), Notorious (1946), Rope (1948), and Frenzy (1972). The analysis of the above mentioned films is carried out by individual takes with focus on visual concept of the movies. Thus, the name of the theses is as follows: The Means of Image Expressing through the Eyes of Alfred Hitchcock. The majority of analyzed takes is completed with relevant screenshots.
Creative Use of Digital Intermediate During the Production of Light Atmosphere

The goal of the thesis is to sketch out the creative use of the digital intermediate in the cinematographer. Recent technologies among them also belongs digital intermediate bring new work opportunities and possibility to change the light atmospheres in the digital postproduction. At the beginning there are mentioned the atmospheres in the painting, in the photography and in the film. Further are described the types of inputs for processing the image, sorts of film transfers, scanners and outputs. After comes the prostroduction process (with the picture examples) which is focused on postproduction equipments, digital composition, rigs, color grading and image editing. There is given the description of the technology of film recording and the issues connected with digital cinema and the archiving. In the conclusion of this work, there are reminded the classical film technologies, perspectives of digital intermediate use in the creative work of a cinematographer and the future and film development trends are sketch out.

This work summarizes the historical part of cinematography that covers computer graphics. I present the progress from the first digital experiments to the current trends. I desribe the base of 3D animation and composition. Some chapters include the process of creation VFX in all production phases, planning, coproduction with postproduction studio or economical view. At the conlcusion there we can find dictionary of terms and list of used formats.
Digital Special Effects

Main theme of this dissertation is Film tricks. There is explained on the begining what is a film trick, why it is used and into what cathegories we can separet this subject. The dissertation is focusing in new digital trick technologies, concretely in combination of 3D CG animation and the real world. There is only a short mention about a classic tricks. There is also the history of film trick including the gallery of pictures from a movies. There are my own observations from my present profession in every chapter , which can be applied in creation proces of some new project. There is also practically czech-english vocabulary of definitions in the end, which are the most used in process of shooting and postproduction.
