Flood protection of the municipality Březová nad Svitavou

The diploma thesis is focused on the assessment of the stream and the proposal against flood risk in the location of town Březová nad Svitavou. The stream Svitava flows under administration of Povodí Moravy. s. p. The stream Svitava flowing through urban area, has a high potencial flood risk. The current situation of a section of the stream is assessed based on defined data and personal inspection. On the stream, there were provided the measurements by the method of HEM. Capacity of the stream along with the objects for the particular section were calculated in the software HEC-RAS. Based on the results, there have been designed the flood protection. The final design was verified by the calculation in the program HEC-RAS.

Assessment of runoff conditions on flow in the cadastral area of Dašice

This thesis is aimed at assessment of drainage conditions at the river Loucna in the cadastral area of Dasice. The examined section is 3,88 km long and runs through out of the city and in the city of Dasice. On the left bank of the river there are several historic buildings that are potentially at risk for 100 years of flow. Capacity assessment is performed using the 1D mathematical program HEC - RAS in which the flow model is created and the calculation of the flow rates for individual N - year flows. On the basis of the results of the program is conducted conceptual desing of flood protection measure. At the same time is conducted conceptual desing of fish ladder on the weir and a sluice closure on the intake for the race.

Proposal of measures on Svratka river in the cadastral area of Svratka

The diploma thesis focuses on the assessment of the current state of the Svratka watercourse and of the capacity of the existing objects on the course, which is partially modified in the solved locality and includes both – intravarian and extravarian areas of the town. Within hydrotechnical calculations, the 1D mathematical model HEC-RAS version 5.0.6 was used to determine the course of levels. The thesis focuses also on suitable design of flood protection measures on the river Svratka with protection for design flow Qn = Q20 = 28,6 m3 / s.

Assessment of the water flow in the Odra river basin

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to describe and evaluate in detail the current state of the Luha river and the objects connected with it, in the interest section – river kilometer 0.000-2.853 in the cadastral area of the Jeseník nad Odrou. Part of the work is to assess the capacity of the river flow in the locality and to propose ideological measures that would increase it to the design value of the 20-year flow. The calculation of the flow rate is performed by using the 1D mathematical model HEC-RAS for selected N-year flows. On the basis of the results of the flow rate, the assessment of the capacity of the channel and the objects in the solved section, two variants of continuous river basin adjustment are proposed to improve the current state of the channel and to increase the flood protection of the neighboring area.

Regulation of the streambed Hloučela

The thesis describes the evaluation of the present situation of the watercourse of Hloučela river, that is situated in Plumlov village. The trough is situated in the urban area on km 11,831-11,991. The capacity of the present and newly suggested trough has beed worked out using the HEC-RAS program. The thesis contains the evaluaion of the trough stability based on the calculation of non-eroding speed as well as the proposal of measures against strong silting of described area. There are another methods that could be used for soluting the trough stability described.

58 Název diplomové práce v anglickém jazyce: Legislation on abortion, sterilization and artificial insemination Resumé: This work deals with three areas of medical law, such as abortion, sterilization and assisted reproduction. These all three areas are characterized by a common role of women (patient) and the child to be born or not. Thesis describes the current legislation in comparison with the draft Law on specific health services, which was in November approved by the Government and now it will address to Parliament. The issue of abortion, as an intervention, which terminates pregnancy, the thesis set out the general interpretation, explanation of terminology, outlining the views of opponents and supporters of abortions and history of these treatments. It is also described current legislation and made its assessment in terms of application experience. There are pointed out the changes that will bring the new law. There is an example of case law. Subsequently, it is made an international comparison. Chapter relating to sterilization as a treatment, which ultimately deprives a woman of fertility, contains the first general outline of the issues and provides some historical context The work describes the current legislation in the Czech Republic.
