Connection of Solar Power Plant and Water management
Zajíček, Michal ; Vrána, Michal (referee) ; Baxant, Petr (advisor)
In the bachelor's thesis Connection of Solar Power Plant and Water management the author designs the technical solution of pump control using solar energy. The main reason is to make an automatic system for pumping the rainwater through filters due to increasing its quality. Powering the device with a solar power plant will reduce the energy requirements and will also make it possible to store surplus energy from the solar power plant into the potential energy of the water. The result of the work is the compact device with an automatic control system designed to control small 12 V pumps, theoretical design of the photovoltaic power plant to power the device and theoretical analysis of solar energy and water management issues.
Design of Loxone system installation control for a house with PV plant
Kořínek, Tomáš ; Vrána, Michal (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with a management proposal of Loxone system installation for a family house with a photovoltaic power plant. The first part of thesis deals with the characteristics of the Loxone system and its individual devices. The second part is already focused on the design of the algorithm and the implementation of the lighting, shading, heating and indoor environment of the building control in the Loxone Config program.
Safety of off-grid hybrid energy system operation
Orság, Štěpán ; Vrána, Michal (referee) ; Morávek, Jan (advisor)
The thesis deals with the safety of hybrid systems in island operation. The safety requirements for electrical installation with photovoltaic system and protection against electric shock are discussed. Hybrid battery systems have a lower short-circuit performance in islanded operation, compared to parallel operation with the distribution grid, so the thesis focuses on the specifics of islanded operation and the use of protections that are part of the PV inverter or electrical installation. The work includes the design of test procedures and measurements on selected inverters with subsequent evaluation and recommendation of further protection measures.
Measuring system of photovoltaic modules efficiency
Vrána, Michal ; Stojan, Radek (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis describes the design of the active load for adjusting the maximum power point of PV module and the module loaded with the defined parameters for measuring the effectiveness and identifying the characteristics of the PV module.
Analysis of floating photovoltaic usage in the Czech Republic
Al Halabi, Enas ; Vrána, Michal (referee) ; Paar, Martin (advisor)
V této studii je zmíněna srovnávací analýza s cílem porovnat konstrukci, náklady, provozní prostředí a výrobu elektrické energie plovoucího a pozemního fotovoltaického systému.
PV inverter and hybrid inverter test bench
Sedlačko, Jozef ; Morávek, Jan (referee) ; Vrána, Michal (advisor)
Electricity production from photovoltaic power plants has been one of the fastest growing energy industries in the last decade. Number of small power inverters working parallelly with the low voltage grid is growing. At the same time, the requirements for the correct behaviour of network inverters in the network by the distribution grid operators are also increasing. The thesis deals with creation of a workplace for testing the operational and technical requirements for micro-sources. The first part of the thesis consists of literature search of inverter demands according to the current rules for parallel production operation. The second part deals with the setting up of test procedures and automation. The last part evaluates selected tests of the functions of the inverters.
Design of Island Electricity Network for UEEN Laboratory
Macejko, Stanislav ; Vrána, Michal (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is acquaintance with hybrid energetic system at Department of electrical power engineering (UEEN), study issues for subsequent design and the creation of project documentation. This thesis deals with options of connecting photovoltaic systems and description of each part of the hybrid system, which is located at UEEN. It also solves the basic knowledge for design and planning, on the basis of which the project documentation and the design of the extension of the electrical installation powered by the hybrid system were created. The thesis also includes the design of electrical installations and energy and economic evaluation. Part of the thesis is also project documentation, which contains a technical report, budget, protocol for determination of external influences, measurement record, verification calculations, and drawings of the electrical installation.
Optimization of shopping center energy demands
Mikloš, Adrián ; Vrána, Michal (referee) ; Morávek, Jan (advisor)
The diploma thesis on „Optimizing of shopping center energy demands“ deals with the reduce of the energy demand of the shopping center. The theoretical part describes the possibilities of reducing the energy intensity in terms of renewable resources, the potential of renewable resources. In practical part the energy audit of the existing building is designed, then the possibilities of reducing the energy intensity of the building, the budget and expressed return on investment by means of the net present value, the internal rate of return and simple payback period.
Design and implementation of the soil resistivity measurement system
Dirbák, Štefan ; Ptáček, Michal (referee) ; Vrána, Michal (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with research and study of soil impedance measurement and soil resistivity. Currently, the issue of measuring and determining soil resistance is ensured through the gradual measurement of certain soil parameters at individual points of the surface (or depth of the ground). This thesis focuses on the idea of measuring soil resistance on a certain area using a network of electrodes through a suitably designed test, measurement and evaluation system. Such an approach may find application in the need to determine soil parameters (such as resistivity) on a specific demarcated area (or depth). The prospect of such an application can be seen in saving time, energy and money needed to measure the soil resistivity of a certain area (as opposed to gradual point measurements). The configuration possibilities of OMICRON CPC 100 measuring instrument were used for the design and implementation of the measuring system for the mentioned purpose. The work is completed by verification of the proposed solution by real measurement with evaluation of the results.
Proposal for a Business Plan - a Bee Farm
Gross, Jan ; Vrána, Michal (referee) ; Zinecker, Marek (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis concerns with creating of a business plan for establishing a Bee farm which will be situated in Zárubice in Vysočina area and will be carried on a trade.
