The influence of sensorimotor intervention on body perception and quality of movement in string musicians.
Kutinová, Eliška ; Mišinová, Klára (advisor) ; Voráčová, Helena (referee)
Playing a musical instrument is a very beautiful, but very physically demanding craft. Many musicians suffer from musculoskeletal pain caused, among other things, by a rigid, unchanging posture and a focus on performance at the expense of comfort. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the influence of music production on the musculoskeletal system of the musician and the possibilities of therapy aimed at improving sensorimotor skills and kinesthesia. The practical part followed the influence of therapy inspired by the Feldenkrais method and Alexander's technique on the movement of the musician during and outside the performance. The research was conducted on 19 professional string musicians. Testing of probands consisted of measurements with inertial sensors, objective measurements of sensorimotor skills and kinesthesia and a questionnaire survey. The parameter measured by the inertial sensors was a jerk (indicates the smoothness of the movement). The results of the measurements show that, even after a single therapy, the smoothness of the chest movement improved statistically significantly.

In general part are shown basic informations from anathomic field, etipatogenesis, epidemiology and clinical pictures of paciants after stroke. Then it refers to risk factors connected with this disease and possible prevention. General part is supposed to be theoretical background for specialized part of this thesis. The second part of this thesis pursues processing of the case study of rehabilitation care of pacient after hemorrhagic stroke with sinistral hemiparesis. During physiotherapeutic care were used only non-invasive therapeutic methods learned on UK FTVS. Whole therapy was performered under supervision of experienced supervisor Mgr. Helena Voráčková. Author: Mgr. Jana Mrkvová Thesis title: A Case Study of a Patient After a Polytraumatic Injury Aim: The aim of this thesis is to summarize a theoretical context for injuries of the elbow, especially fractures in this area and methods of treatment, and to present a case study of a patient after a fracture of the olecranon. Methods: This thesis is divided into a theoretical part and a case study. The theoretical part is based on research of scientific literature focused on the topic of injuries of the elbow, especially types of elbow fractures, and methods of treatment with the focus on osteosynthesis. Further it describes possible complications and methods of rehabilitation treatment. The case study documents the course of a patient after a polytraumatic injury with the focus of physiotherapeutic treatment on the elbow fracture treated with osteosynthesis during physiotherapy student clinical practice. Results: Physiotherapy treatment resulted in objectively improved range of motion and subjectively in reduction of pain intensity, not only in the elbow but in the shoulder and wrist as well. Conclusion: The aims of this thesis were reached and the positive effect of selected physiotherapeutic methods was confirmed. Keywords: elbow joint, fracture, osteosynthesis, physiotherapy

Single mothers and their children - the group on the edge of poverty?
Vzhledem k nemožnosti uspokojovat všechny své potřeby trpí deprivací, jejíž následky si nesou do budoucna. Annotation The aim of this study is to address single mothers. Single mothers and their children are usually in poor financial condition and threatened with poverty and social exclusion. They are unable to meet their basic needs which effect...
