Computer games addiction among pupils at second grade of selected primary schools

The theoretical part of this thesis describes addictive behavior on the Internet and on- line games, the profile of the target group of students in primary schools in connection with a range of personality traits in terms of posing a risk of substance use. The purpose of the research thesis is the implementation of a questionnaire study on the prevalence of addictive behavior in using the Internet to play on-line games and identify links between this behavior and the various activities carried out on the Internet, sociodemographic characteristics, experience with substance use and risk factors for anxiety, hopelessness, search experiences and impulsivity. The basic set consists of all students 6 to 9 years of school districts in Kolin and Kutna Hora. The aim is to get around the 50 respondents showing signs of addictive behavior or threat of execution dependency behavior of the correlation study, the research file contains more than 600 pupils.

Park and Ride System (P+R) in Prague

The thesis concerns the traffic in Prague. It targets the potentialities of short-term parking on the city outskirts, on metro and train stations, and summarizes the conditions for people who combine personal and public transport in their commuting. The central part of the thesis focuses on the park and ride (P+R) scheme, and their location and availability. The bike and ride (B+R) and kiss and ride (K+R) systems are regarded as well. A questionnaire, carried out with respondents who regularly commute to Prague for employment or education, is evaluated. It comes out clearly that awareness of parking possibilities on the outskirts of Prague is low. And even if a respondent is aware of the possibilities, then the system is usually not used, for reasons that are summarized in the evaluation of the questionnaire. The goal of the thesis is to inform about P+R system and to highlight its shortcomings, which have been either deduced from the questionnaire or derived from P+R usage data. Motivation in the treatment of addicted clients in the mental hospital in Jemnice. This thesis describes motivations in the treatment of addicted clients in the mental hospital in Jemnice. The main aim of my work is to provide an overview of achieved changes in motivation during the treatment in various spheres of addicted client's life. The work is processed by qualitative research method. The theoretical scope of motivation and possible method of work with motivation is provided in the introductory part. Following practical part is based on theoretical part, compares the achieved changes of motivation at the beginning and at the end of the treatment and verifies achieved rate of motivation in the interviews. Impact of D5 highway on Rokycany development

Highways building and expressways in general has been taking place all over the world for tens of years. As one of the major advantages of this building up is almost automatically, except an improvement of traffic situation, mentioned the benefit to the regional development in concerned areas. However, there are a few executed studies of highways impact on the regional development and most of them are from abroad. The studies show that presence of highway has a different impact on each region. But, they also warn on the adverse effects of highways on the regional development, especially in the peripheral regions. In those regions highways rather further deepen the disparities between the core and the periphery. The town of Rokycany acts as a relatively strong centre for its hinterland and thanks to D5 highway as a suburban area of the nearby and ten times larger city of Pilsen. The traffic diverting out of the town centre was necessary even if the local shopkeepers can experience a drop of incomes. The local authorities and the major firms welcome the presence of highway.

Transport Accessibility of Second Homes: Selected Localities in the Benešov Region

This thesis deals with the differentiation of the accessiblity of second-homes facilities, primarily using means of public transport. The first part adresses the problem with the published literature. Second part deals with a case study carried out in selected localities of the Benešov region. Transport accessibility was observed at two levels - frequency and temporal. In addition to the current accessibility, the historical development since the beginning of the eighties was found out. Following the changes in public transport, the consecutive integrating of particular localities into the integrating transport system was also observed.

Case study of a client included in methadone substitution programme

of bachelor thesis Keywords: methadone- susbstitution therapy- client- substitution programme-causes The bachelor thesis deals with the effect of client participation in the complete substitution treatment programme with methadone, which aims to demonstrate a positive effect not only on the client itself, but also on its vicinity. The theoretical part deals with methadone, its effects and the progressive placing into the treatment of addicted clients, firstly abroad and then in the Czech Republic. It deals with forms of treatment working in the Czech Republic with a detailed description of a complex substitution therapy. At the end of the theoretical part are discussed the causes of origin of an addiction on the addictive substances. The practical part is a case study of two clients - married couple, what describes in detail their life before the treatment, during the treatment and at her one year after the treatment, when she has been included in the substitution programme for ten years and is ending with a voluntary departure from the program with the zero dose of methadone - the client successfully abstains.
