Project risk management

The aim of this master's thesis, entitled Project Risk Management, is to identify the risks of a particular project, to analyze them and to propose measures to reduce or eliminate them as much as possible. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part introduces the basic professional terminology, as well as the individual phases of the project management, and emphasis is placed on presenting the project risk management process. The findings from the theoretical part are then applied in the practical part. This practical part introduces the context of the project of building a community center on the Rusinga Island and its output is an identification of risks, risk analysis and also a proposal of preventive measures of the risks of this project.
Comparative analysis of Czech and French law dealing with crimes against live and health and analysis of relevant legal terminology

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the extent of difference or similarity between the Czech and French approach to crimes against life and health. The fundamental issue is the analysis of terminology. The bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part provides a brief introduction to the basic concepts of criminal law, presents the specifics of legal language and describes crimes against life and health in the Czech Republic, and their French equivalents. The practical part is focused on a comparative analysis of these crimes and an analysis of relevant legal terminology. The bachelor thesis also contains a glossary of terms and a resumé in French.
Public Subsidies to Emerging Theatre Venues in Prague

In the first part of the thesis, the present state of the Prague theatre network is introduced and the preconditions and possibilities of its further development are discussed. The introduction is followed by the analysis of the funding of the Prague theatres and cultural policy focusing on the system of subsidies and grants, transformation of the theatre network and other means of support. In the second part of the thesis, a thorough analysis of the six theatre venues that have emerged in the last six years, namely Studio Hrdinů, Company.cz in Divadlo Komedie, Venuše ve Švehlovce, Vila Štvanice, Jatka 78 and Panoptikon Barikáda, is provided. The analysis focuses on various factors influencing the venues: their location, relationship with the lawful owner of the property, legal form, their relationship with the audience, and last but not least the way they are funded. In the conclusion, the comparison of the situation of the six venues is provided.
Supporting of the selected Prague theatres from public funds

In the first part this Bachelor thesis is dealing with the options of financing Prague theatres from public funds, particularly under the conditions of current Grant system of Prague capital. Furthermore this thesis is describing Grant policy development during last ten years and transformation of theatre allowance organizations into other legal entities. Second part is coping with the financing and managing three real Prague theatres Dejvické divadlo, Divadlo v Celetné and Divadlo Minor, chosen as examples. Each of these three theatres has different legal entity as well as different structure of earnings and consequently also the different extent of public fund usage.
